• Maja (10/5): A perfect and soul-filling escape into the wild beauty of Skadar Lake - Our stay at Sunny Terraces was truly an unforgettable experience. The wild, breathtaking nature of Skadar Lake completely amazed us — it felt like a real escape from reality and everyday life. For two days we simply immersed ourselves in the beauty and peace of nature, absorbing every moment, every view, and every sound around us. The accommodation was clean, comfortable, and thoughtfully arranged, with everything we needed for a relaxing stay. Even the road to the property felt like part of the adventure, leading us deeper into this hidden paradise. One of the most beautiful parts of our stay was the boat ride that Kristina kindly organized for us. Experiencing the lake from the water was absolutely magical and made the whole trip even more special. Kristina and her mother were incredibly warm, kind, and welcoming. They didn’t treat us like guests, but like family, and that made all the difference. Their hospitality created such a comforting and genuine atmosphere that we immediately felt at home. Everything about this stay was perfect, peaceful, fulfilling, and deeply memorable. We left feeling rested, inspired, and grateful for such a beautiful experience. We truly hope to come back again.
• Marcel (10/5): - Ein Besuch im Naturparadies. Das nahegelegenen "Amazonas" Gebiet ist mit dem Kayak in 30 min erreichbar. Allein die vielen Vogelstimmen. Zwergkormorane, Seeschwalben, Haubentaucher, Silberreiher und vor allem so viele Seerosen. Wir empfehlen eine Paddeltour am morgen vor 9 Uhr. Christina ist eine perfekte Gastgeberin.

• Bianca (9/5): Like staying with Friends! - We had a wonderful stay with Kristina and her family. The journey is challenging and currently still a bit of an adventure, but a video from the hostess was a great help! Kristina and her family welcomed us warmly and looked after us so well that we felt like we were staying with friends. Thank you so much for this wonderful vacation experience! The location on the lake is simply unique. Be sure to stay a few nights. We highly recommend the delicious food from Sanja and the neighboring fisherman and his wife, as well as the boat tour. We really enjoyed it. And even though it will take time ;-) and some things are still in the works, it's already close to perfect!

• Jane (10/5): An amazing location, the highlight of our Montenegro trip and we wanted to stay longer. Thank you. - Stunning location, we had all 3 apartments for our group of 9. Kristina and mum Sanja could not have been more welcoming and helpful. We canoed Lake Skadar, did a boat trip and all loved bird watching and swimming. It was all brilliant. Make sure you bring cash before arriving-Kristina will remind you but make sure you do!
• magalie (10/5): Une vraie rencontre avec le Monténégro ! - Nous avons adoré passer ces quelques jours ici. Les hôtes étaient adorables en toute simplicité (vraiment !), le lieu est exceptionnel (nos garçons se sont amusés toute la journée à sauter des falaises, explorer les alentours en canoë), les repas sont fabuleux, préparés par la maman (soupe, poisson et vin). Même si l’appartement était simple, le site est incroyable : la beauté de la nature s’impose! Le chemin pour accéder, mais cela ne devrait pas être un frein!
• Libby (10/5): A superb place for a visit to Lake Skadar - The position of this property is truly spectacular. Birds were everywhere, and it was wonderful watching them fishing and so on from the terrace of the property. It is literally right on the shore of Lake Skadar, so that one can dive off the terrace straight into the water, which was lovely to swim in. The bedrooms all have a balcony looking straight over the lake, absolutely idyllic as there are no properties on the other side, just wonderful green scenery. The host Kristina was charming and extremely helpful. I was not organised and as I hadn't brought food with me, she and her mum happily cooked me a superb meal for only 15 Euro. Similarly I had a great breakfast the next morning for 8 Euro. Kristina organised a wonderful boat trip for me in the morning, with time flexibility that perfectly suited my travel plans. If I had had more time, I would have gone for a kayak trip by myself (they were available). After I left, I had the bad luck to get a flat tyre about 20 minutes from the property - Kristina was so kind, and came and picked me up, taking me to the airport to catch my plane as the car company said they would deal with the car but couldn't help me with transport. I think that was really above and beyond in terms of service - a measure of what a lovely person she is. I really couldn't rate her as a host any higher, she is great, and her property is in the most magic spot possible. It's a little tricky to find this property, despite Kristina's tips before I arrived. I hadn't realised just how poor the road would be, and kept thinking I must have made a mistake. But worth the effort! The bedroom I slept in would have benefited from a bedside light, and better quality sheets. But the bed itself was very comfortable, there was air conditioning and a fridge in the bedroom, the ensuite was large and clean, and the balcony - did I mention the perfect view? - had table and chairs for relaxing on. Really, nothing here to complain about at all!!
• Simeon (10/5): Hidden gem - The hosts make you feel right at home & like part of their family. The view is breathtaking and all in all this is one of the few spots left where you can experience local, authentic and sustainable tourism. We‘ll be back!
• Arianna (9/5): Lovely place! - This place is stunning! Great lake view and outdoor space to enjoy and relax, just perfect on a sunny day. The room is quite basic but has all you need, and the little balcony is a bonus! Kristina is super friendly, happy to chat and give advice. There's a shared kitchen to store/make food. Great experience, thank you! Finding the apartment was a little tricky but we got there eventually :)

A small privat restorant is available in 100 m by boat - the owner is coming to take you there. Very clean. Amazing view. I wish roads to this place will be better

• Natan (10/5): Exceptional - I recently stayed at the newly opened Skadar Lake riverside accommodation, and it was an exceptional experience. The hosts were amazing, providing top-notch hospitality. The tranquility of the place is incredible, offering a peaceful retreat from the hustle and bustle of daily life. Additionally, there's an option to rent a kayak and explore the river, which added an adventurous touch to our stay. Highly recommended!
• Jan (10/5): Exceptional - Sunny Terraces is a perfect spot. We wished to stay longer there then 1 night. Out hosts Kristina and Andrij were very kind. We swam together, sang and played on the guitar with them in the evening. You can use the kitchen with the amazing view on the Skadar Lake from the Window. Also you can admire even better view from your balconies. In the sunny days you can use sunbeds and jump stright to the very clean water of the lake. Kristina can also organise a boat which will take you to the restaurants on the lake which is very comfortable, because the road to place can be very curvy. Also you have kayaks, so no boring during the day. Wifi, a/c work as they should. Dont make mistake and dont go there just for a one night, you will regret that the next morning you have to leave this beautiful place! See u next year!

• Simona (10/5): Exceptional - Our stay at Sunny Terraces was magical. The hosts are extremely friendly, caring and reliable. We arrived late in the evening and they arranged for us to have dinner at the restaurant next door where they took us by boat. The location is amazing - with a view of the lake. It is possible to swim or rent kayaks. We are very happy to have spent a few days at Sunny Terraces and highly recommend it!
• Graham (9/5): This is a stunning location run by a very friendly and welcoming family. - The location was stunning, and doing early morning canoe rides were a fantastic way of experiencing the nature. The hosts were friendly, welcoming and hospitable, even offering us additional vegetables for cooking. This is a remote and rustic location with amazing surrounding nature and wildlife. The perfect way to unwind and relax. This family have just started their holiday letting business and are still sorting things out. The googlemap link to the property was excellent, but the road itself was rough. Upon arrival there were no signs to guide you to the property, which still looked a bit like a building site. After a short exploration on foot we found it easily.
• Wietse (10/5): I believe this is going to be one of the best stays around Skadar lake! - Unbelievable beautiful location. The hospitality was first class! We stayed longer than we had planned.
• Alexander (10/5): Both the place and the host family are truly amazing! - Stayed here for two nights with my family of six people and was absolutely amazing. It feels completely isolated and you feel like you are in the middle of nowhere, but at the same time it is possible to reach the house by car (from village Bobija) and you are only a few minutes boat ride from Karuč and also the Mali Raj restaurant across the cove. The dock was really nice too — the water was deep enough to jump and dive, and there was also a place for us to dock our small rental boat. In addition, the WiFi was stable and the air conditioners were new and worked well. Nothing!
• Raf (10/5): Exceptional - A very beautiful and very peacefull place to stay. The view from the room is amazing. A perfect place to swim and enjoy the lake. The family was very helpful for all our questions and problems. There is also a small restaurant across the river that will pick you up for free whenever you are hungry. Highly recommended.
• Ksenia (10/5): Stayed for one night, as we planned to go to other places, but will definitely go back :) - Great place, feel very lucky to find it on Booking! Very kind and friendly hosts, Christina helped us to find a way and carry bags from and to the car, plus gave us a huge bottle of fresh water to go! The house has its own entrance to the lake, water is amazing and full of fish. Quiet place with no other houses around, so it felt very private. On the other side of the lake lives a family that can cook breakfast and lunch for you, and pick you up in a boat to get you to their place and back when the food is ready.
