• Staven (10/5): Friendly hosts, cozy house, secure yard for dogs—highly recommended. - The hosts were exceptionally friendly and welcoming. The house was cozy and comfortable, and the garden was spacious with several fruit trees, which added to the charm of the place. The property is fully enclosed and secure, allowing the dogs to roam freely and safely. During cooler weather, the fireplace provided a warm and pleasant atmosphere in the living room, with a water-based heating system distributing heat throughout the rooms. We highly recommend this accommodation.
• *Annette* (10/5): Einfach schön - Das Haus ist wunderschön und liegt ruhig. Einen Spaziergang entfernt kann man in einem Art Pool im Meer baden gehen. Die Gastgeber haben sich super um uns gekümmert. Als wir angekommen sind, war der Kühlschrank schon gefüllt und wir haben immer wieder frische Früche geschenkt bekommen. Ausserdem haben uns Christina und Kostas bestens über die Umgebung und Ausflugsziele informiert. Wir hatten einen sehr entspannten Aufenthalt in der Villa Messinia. • Stavros (10/5): Beautiful farmhouse with Amazing hosts. - It is a beautiful house on a nice property where the hosts have a great garden. From the 2nd floor balcony you can see the ocean and a beautiful sunset. The couple grows the best figs, grapes, melons and oranges. Only downside a bit hard to find. Everything g else was awesome. Large house for family. Close to sea and 10 minutes drive to Kyparissia where we were meeting friends. The hosts were great and gave us all this wonderful fruit from their garden. They also gave us some wine snacks for the kids and Greek moonshine (tsipouro). It also has great balconies. It is not fancy but beautiful and plan to stay again when we visit.

• Robynne (10/5): Stunning Villa with gorgeous views - A beautiful villa with country and sea views, multiple terraces and balconies to enjoy the sun, views, and shade. Our lovely host had provided us with delicious fruits from their gardens, wine from their nearby vineyard and numerous other goodies to welcome us. There is a salt water lagoon a few 100m walk from the property which great for a refreshing dip. A little hard to find but we have hopefully added the location to google and given the host a couple of other tips to help in the future.

• Danai (3/5): Really bad experience - The house was quite big and had a fully equipped kitchen and a back yard as well. You can park inside the lot. The house was advertised to have 3 bathrooms and 3 double beds, however one of the bathrooms was a poorly constructed outdoor container with exposed electrical cables and the other two bathrooms which were indoor were really old, and as you can see in the photos were tiny and dysfunctional. The rooms didn’t really have 3 double beds. In reality there was a single bed (approx. 1.20m), the next one was two joined singles and the last one was 1.40m more or less. Not only were they super uncomfortable but also we ended up sleeping on a sofa bed that was also uncomfortable and was conveniently left out from the photos uploaded on the add (it was six of us so we didn’t really have an option). On top of that, the house smelled like mold in some rooms and it was poorly cleaned. The kitchen was really big but it didn’t have a coffee machine as it was stated on the add. As far as the location is concerned, it was a little bit in the middle of nowhere and the access was possibly through a dirt road with no night lights. There wasn’t anything to do near there. In the lot there are a few more buildings so it’s not so quiet. The worst part was the owners themselves: they live to the building next door and they were constantly bothering us as soon as they saw us hanging out in the yard. To be clear, in the beginning they appeared friendly. They started bringing along food and they insisted that we ate the fruit, the fish, the wine that they had to offer in a very persistent way. They even advertised a “pool” they had created with other neighbours and they insisted that we visit this place. On our last morning everything became clear to us: the man brought us a piece of paper where he had already written down the review he wanted us to make and he insisted that we claim that we ate the fruit, fish etc and that visited the pool even thought we didn’t and he wouldn’t take no for an answer.
