• Patrick (5/5): - The location was excellent There was no hot water or heating. The owner was pleasant on the phone. Eventually, I saw that the boiler had been turned off, so the place had not been checked prior to our arrival. Lots of information, nothing about boiler. Also, the place that was recommended for brunch that we planned around is not serving brunch on Monday and Tuesday .... not in info. Disappointing

• Lorraine (10/5): Great location, very clean apartments - A brilliant location central to the town. We booked 2 apartments, the London Room and the Bishops Snug, both were absolutely spotless! Hosts are very easy and fast to communicate with We had booked both apartments for 8 people. It should be noted that you need to make up the sofa beds yourself. Personally I would prefare them pre made. Water in the shower is scalding hot and very hard to get it colder. There is signs in the bathroom saying not to stain towels with fake tan or you would be charged. Most people was then to scared to get a shower in the morning due to this.

Only slight dislike, i do think they could do with new sheets etc for sofa bed as the ones supplied were slightly stained, clearly were washed but stains hadn't come out.

We had space- the property has a separate living area. We had some difficulties with the hot water, though host was very responsive to the issue

• gemma (10/5): Can’t wait to go back - Excellent location, easy to access, a lot more spacious than I expected and it was spotlessly clean Just personal preference but white towels with signs about being fined if get tan on them is very off putting and made me wait until I got home to shower, easier just to have black towels for guests

• Aoife (8/5): - Great location, spotlessly clean and good facilities. Easy check in. Very convenient. Very cold at night, our fault that we didn't put on heat but woke up cold a few times. Could do with another blanket or quilt. Shower broke in one apt so couldn't use it.

• Beth (10/5): Will definitely return - Property is central for visiting Derry. Apartments are clean and comfortable. They have clearly been renovated recently and it was a delight to arrive to. Communication with property owners was brilliant beforehand as we were arriving earlier and wanted to avail of an early check in. Apartments are quite cold without heating on so do boost the heating when you arrive.

• Chloe (10/5): Great apartment stay in Derry - This property was so cute and had everything and anything we needed! The kitchen was well stocked with cutlery/crockery and additional items such as baking trays mixing bowls etc. Netflix and ability to chrome cast to the tv was great! The bed was super comfy and the shower had great pressure and temperature! Lots of attention to detail and little touches in the apartment! Great location right in the walled part of the city was excellent for a home base while we explored Derry!
• Nicole (9/5): Clean, central, and with a fantastic host, the apartment was ideal despite the slightly high price. - The property was great, very clean and so central to all Derry city has to offer. Joe was fantastic and easy to get in touch with. I was a bit stuck trying to find the door code in my emails, but he helped me with a lovely manner. We had to head off early in the morning, and I was sorry I didn't get a chance to have a coffee in his lovely ice cream shop. Overall it was exactly what I hoped it would be. I marked it slightly down as the sofa bed was not super comfortable, and it was quite expensive at €213 (£187) for 1 night (....I know....I know dynamic pricing). We did really like the property, and it was perfect for our needs of a stopover before an event.

Didn’t realise we were on the 3rd floor no lift, very narrow stairs. Difficult for elderly people. The shower control was difficult to use. Only very hot water

• Donna (9/5): - We stayed in the ‘Bishop’s Snug’, which was the third floor apartment. This building is in a great location inside the city walls, within easy walking distance to many of the city’s sites. The apartment itself, whilst on the small side, was comfortable and provided a well laid out kitchen, a comfortable bed and nice bathroom. Whilst parking is not available at the site, as it is in the city walls, it is easy walking distance to a local car park, and the parking is quite affordable. In booking.com, it needs to be clearer as to which of the three apartments offered here are on which floor, there is no lift.
• Roberta (10/5): Best place we have stayed in. Right in the beating heart of Derry. - Loved the whole space! The decor was spunky. It was roomy and had a great queen sized bed. Three short flights of stairs was a bit hard with a sore leg. Otherwise not an issue.

• Mairead (10/5): Quality apartment in a great location! - Great location and great size for two people travelling. We only stayed for a brief stay but would really consider booking again. Bed was very comfortable, towels were a great size for showering and the shower was great also. Close to everything in the city and felt secure on how apartment is accessed. Could hear the people in the apartment above us moving about in the middle of the night. Not a huge issue, just somewhat noticeable during our stay.

• Colleen (10/5): Great location to explore Derry. - We arrived early, but we were able to store our bags in the ice cream parlour below our room until check-in. The apartment was in a great location, so we were able to easily walk everywhere we wanted.

Just noting for other guests there are stairs involved so be mentally prepared with your luggage! Also some herbal teas and fresh milk would have been lovely.

• Julie (8/5): The owners were very obliging re the broken shower so not a problem, but the noise was uncontrollable by them, therefore - The property was central & nicely appointed The shower unfortunately was broken however we were offered an alternative in a downstairs unit. That was ok👍🏼 Also it was very noisy with a truck full of groceries unloaded over an hour opposite the unit - night time clubbers yelling at 3am all the way up the street & the street sweeper reversing constantly before 7am beep-beep-beep - Very interrupted sleep

The location was fantastic. We were attending a show at the millennium forum which was a very short walk away. Shops, bars and restaurants were also within walking distance.

The accommodation itself was spotlessly clean and contained everything you need for a home from home feel. The hosts were really helpful - they recommended restaurants (walled city brewery was delicious and good value!), bars playing live music (peadra o’donnels and o’laughlins definitely had the craic!) and parking (use bishop street - a few minutes from the apartment). Derry itself was fantastic, we fell in love with it. All the sights are within easy walking distance. Highly recommended. Thank you! Nothing!

This is an in-town apartment, with steps only, no parking nearby unless after hours, or a city parking lot with payment machines. Television ... more chanels. Perhaps some USA channels like CNN and BBC world news?
