Guest Reviews
- Ivita (10/5): - Mark's flat is truly amazing. It is spacious, bright, cozy, and comfortable, with everything you could possibly need or want. The bathroom has both a shower and a bath, and the kitchen is fully equipped, so it's easy to cook not only breakfast but full, proper meals.
The beds are very comfortable and warm. There is also a bright dining room and a spacious, beautiful living room. Mark's apartment has everything you might need for a great stay, including all the necessary gadgets, and it’s full of little details and touches that will make you smile, feel welcomed, and right at home.
The flat is about a 40-minute walk from the city centre, which is perfect for those who enjoy walking, like me. If you prefer, you can also catch a bus, as there is a stop just around the corner.
So, I truly recommend Mark's flat if you are looking for a nice place to stay in Brighton. :)

- Luana (10/5): - Die Unterkunft war perfekt. Super Lage, sehr sauber und der Gastgeber war sehr zuvorkommend und nett.
- Hanspeter Schicker (7/5): - Friendly host. Near everything you need. 4 towels for 4 people, only 3 blankets for 4 people.
The living room is cold when the sleeping rooms are already warm
- Tipu Sultan (10/5): -

- Paulina (10/5): Definitely recommend - Very good place to stay, great location and parking facilities.

- Maxine (10/5): Was great place to stay for going into Brighton and the beach - Really well designed and modern great location Nothing
- Gina (6/5): Lovely newly refurbished flat near the seafront and shops and cafes. Noise was intrusive - Newly refurbished property in a lovely area of Hove. Very near the seafront and 15 min walk to shops and cafes. I know the area as I am from
Hove. Unfortunately as it is house converted into flats you can hear every noise from
The neighbours. Footsteps, tv and music and singing. I have never stayed in a converted house before and did not realise how much that would affect our stay. Also made me realise could never live in a converted flat. The mattress was too soft and the flat needs shutters or Venetians for privacy. Some milk in the fridge on arrival would have been a helpful gesture.
- Samantha (10/5): Excellent - The Location was close to the Seaside, a walking distance from the sea and close to bus routes. Early check in time
- Doig (7/5): Good -
- Nicola (10/5): Very relaxing stay in Hove in prime location. Would definitely use again. - Location! So handy to the beach and a great beach cafe. Easy to catch buses to Brighton. Very comfortable beds and beautiful sunlight through the windows during the morning. Very clean with everything you need in kitchen. A small point but the hair dryer needs updated as only blowing cold air.
- Clare (7/5): Good -
- Nick (9/5): Lovely apartment with very nice host - Excellent location and friendly host who was very easy to communicate with Nothing really. Perhaps some coat hooks would be useful?
- Paul (8/5): Very good -
- Madeleine (8/5): Really nice flat, bit loud - The apartment was perfectly clean, and very well appointed. The beds were comfortable and the rooms were large.
The location was spot on, in walking distance to bus stops and some things to do. The closest local shop was 15 minutes away which is quite long but we used Uber for a delivery and that was useful. The host rang me the day before we arrived and said carpets were being fitted upstairs but it should be done by the time we arrived. However on our first morning the really horrific level of banging of carpet fitting and tools hitting the floor started at 7.45am and kept going for hours which was not great. While the noise at other times was incomparable there were bangs of people coming home, doors closing and walking around after 11pm the other nights, just to bear this in mind if you are travelling with children.
I also had to prompt the host for the key code an hour after the time we were told we'd have it. He replied quite quickly but it was a bit nerve wracking being 5.5 hours from home in a storm and not knowing if we had a legitimate place to stay!
- Amber (9/5): Beautiful stay. Great area. Amazing host. - Everything. Clean, welcoming and just a generally lovely place. Nothing at all! The heating wasn't working due to it being a new boiler - not much the landlord could do but he was very responsive and apologetic.
- Anonymous (9/5): Had a lovely stay , Mark was very communicative and helpful would stay here again - The property was spacious spotlessly clean and very comfortable .
- Ellie (10/5): Exceptional -
- Steve (10/5): Beautiful flat with all mod-cons. Very clean and tidy with great communication from the host. - Perfect location, easy to find and very clean property. Nothing. The only thing is parking would have been perfect but wasn’t an issue at all.
- Sarah (10/5): Cosy, comfortable and stylish accommodation. - We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and didn’t want to come home!
The apartment was beautifully clean, spacious and newly refurbished to a high standard; you can tell the owner put a lot of detail and care into the apartment. It felt like a home from home.
The beds were super comfy, a lovely kitchen with all the appliances/utensils you need, a nice big dining table to enjoy breakfast/dinner with the family and the bathroom was bright and spacious - and most importantly, a nice shower with a good water pressure!
As for the location, it was absolutely perfect. A 3 minute walk to the beautiful beach, walk along the main road for a further 10 minutes and you’ll find plenty of places to eat, drink and also a CO-OP to buy your essentials.
I would also thank to thank Mark, our friendly host. He was very quick at replying with any questions that I had.
We already can’t wait to come back! Nothing! It was perfect.
- Seyit (10/5): Exceptional -
- Raymond (10/5): Extremely comfortable stay - Beautiful finish interior, very good quality materials and furniture inside We liked everything except a neighbour was doing renovations which woke us up early
- Josien (9/5): Great stay in a clean, nice apartment! - The apartment was very clean and had all the facilities needed for a family of five. The location is very nice, close to the beach. It was very easy to find a parking spot in the street. We could not find the right house at first. The house number wasn't easy to find for us.
That was the only thing that could be solved.
- Shreya (8/5): Very good - The flat is beautifully furnished, clean and spacious and had all the amenities we needed. Mark was really responsive and was available whenever we needed anything. The location is perfect for a stay in Hove and would definitely stay here again! Some clearer instructions prior to arriving at the flat would have been helpful just so we knew the location and where all the extra bedding etc was upon arrival.
- Simon (10/5): We had a great weekend and this flat was ideal for us - really lovely flat and a few minutes walk to the beach. - Really nicely decorated and a great location. It’s also very quiet and peaceful there. The host also left us drinks in the fridge plus tea and coffee which is great to arrive to.
