Not recommended! - -View is awesome -Flat is clean -Location is good, close to the beach - we had 3 different contact persons via WhatsApp, who all asked for the same information and several times before the stay - A contract had to be closed outside of Booking.com with conditions that do not correspond to Booking. The contract is also only available in Spanish and when asked, it is said that you need Spanish for Colombia - A deposit of 200,000 pesos in cash is required at check-in (not visible on Booking, is in the Spanish contract) - then an additional 35,000 pesos per person is due at check-in for accessing the accommodation - the entire check-in was done with the consierge of the accommodation, but when we tried to contact the contact persons of the accomodation for questions about the deposit, no one was available. - No towels available in the accommodation, could not be borrowed but had to be bought for 20,000 pesos per towel. The towels we bought from the host were extremely smelly and unwashed. They were therefore unusable and had to be washed at our own expense. - We only got half of a toilet paper role, as we had a stay of several days it was empty at some point, there was only one roll that had been started. As we had a longer stay, at some point our toilet paper was empty. When we asked for new paper, the answer was that we should buy it ourselves! - When we checked out, we wanted to store our suitcases in the accommodation. This cost 3,000 pesos per hour! (I have never had to pay for luggage storage in an accommodation before, and certainly not per hours!) - at the final check-out and luggage collection, the presumably owner came to us. She didn't want to let us go until we had given a 10 star rating as there was a competition for the best accommodation and we wanted to complete the rating with them quickly as the competition would end tonight. We were put under massive pressure to submit the rating now.
- Tamara (4/5): Nice view and pool but delapidated apartment - The nice view almost made up for the state of the apartment There is a nice pool in the building! The manager and owner were always polite Many issues from confusing communication after booking to the dilapidated state of the apartment. Everything inside was damaged or broken in some way, there were places where paint was coming off the walls. The manager informed us that all apartments have issues due to the building needing renovation. We were not allowed to see the apartment before paying the entire amount in full via an app separate from Booking.com or in cash, so there was no way to cancel or request any refund. They asked us for a security deposit of 200.000 pesos which they would return back to us - but I negotiated to not provide it when seeing how destroyed everything looked. In addition to the price indicated on booking we had to pay some fee and when paying with credit-card another 10% was added. But this seems to be similar with other apartments in Cartagena. After we expressed dissatisfaction with the state of the apartment I received notification on booking.com that my booking dates have been changed to random future dates. I dont know how this happened, but from reading some reviews of this place on google i suspect they tried to meddle with it to prevent me from leaving a review. Another issue was disconnection between booking.com and check-in: after confirming the apartment we chose on booking.com we had to speak with 2 people from the company who sent us pictures of different apartments with a view and asking to chose again and reconfirm all data including the dates, before transferring the deposit. then we got a contract in an email. upon arrival we learned that we have been assigned an apartment without a view (even though the view was the only reason we booked it in the first place), but eventually we got the one we originally booked. It was an annoying and confusing process.

- Pawel (10/5): Exceptional - The apartment is very nice, it's located on the 4th floor with a spectacular sea view from one of the bedrooms and the balcony, all the basic equipment was provided, the beds were very comfortable and the owner is very kind and helpful
- Tom (10/5): Excellent - The location was excellent for us - 5 minutes' walk to the lovely beaches, 15 minutes to the restaurants and shops of Bocagrande and easy access to the old city of Cartagena by bus or taxi. The apartment was clean, comfortable and everything worked. Sra Rosalba, Andrea and the other people managing the apartment and also the people looking after the building were all very friendly and helpful. We loved Cartagena, especially the historic centre. We had a good time. Thanks very much. Occasionally, we had to wait quite a while for the lifts, and sometimes decided to walk up or down the stairs rather than wait. The wasn't a problem for us but might be for people with limited mobility.
