- Philip (10/5): Lovely accommodation in a tremendous setting. - The accommodation was exactly as described in the listing, it was comfortable and in a lovely setting.
Nice walks for the dogs.
Great facilities to prepare your own meals. It would have been nice to have an area of lawn, but wasn’t a deal breaker for us as we were quite busy and also took the dogs for walks anyway.
- Phil (9/5): Will be returning … - Great location
Cottage is in a perfect location for walking, food and everything you could need.

- Phil (10/5): Exceptional -
- Elaine (8/5): Short stay - Peaceful place, great space with comfy bed. Hosts were friendly and super helpful.
- Nickless (4/5): Loverly area, chilly stay. - The surrounding area was loverly, We greatly enjoyed the walks around the area and the Farm shop (Durleighmarsh Farm Shop) up the road was great. Dirty Cooker, Luke warm water which we flagged but were told it was fine. Unfortunately due to illness one of us needs to keep warm but got chilled every time they showered. Air con unit won't turn off by the controller only the on unit control.
- Ann (10/5): Quiet and peaceful - Spacious N/A

Well located, although rural, close to small towns and villages. Also very near to Portsmouth
The bed was so comfortable and bedding excellent
Hosts friendly and helpful. Wi fi could have even a lot better.
- Hazel (10/5): Perfect host and location comfortable and clean - Location and privacy Nothing everything was good, maybe some tea towels would have been useful

- Mat (10/5): Exceptional -
- Steve (8/5): A comfortable barn with good facilities - A quiet location conveniently located for many local attractions in the area. The barn was spacious & well equipped. We thought it could perhaps have benefited from an additional armchair in the lounge area without encroaching on the space. Looking over the deer park at the rear of the property was an added bonus. The hosts Steve & Keran were both welcoming & helpful. N/A
- Debi (8/5): Weekend break. - Location was lovely, very peaceful but close to lots of amenities.
- Andre (7/5): The property has nice walks close by. The host was very helpful and the location was good for Portsmouth - Goods location, well equipped and lovely shower No outside space especially for pets
- Joanna (10/5): We had a lovely weekend break visiting family. Property was perfect for us. - It was clean and tidy. Nice and cool because of the air conditioning.
Lovely area, quiet which is what we wanted.
Walks for the dogs from the door.
Nice hosts.
- India (10/5): Exceptional - Everything! Great location. Hosts were super nice and accommodating. They also left some fresh orange juice and milk! 100% recommend
- Paul (9/5): Superb -
- Linda (10/5): Exceptional - Semi-isolated rural location with deer in a neighbouring field. Several National Trust properties and gardens nearby. Nothing.
- Jinelle (10/5): Will definitely return again - Amazing tranquil property. Soo quiet with views of the deers out of the window. It’s a shame it didn’t have space out of the back to enjoy the scenery with a little more privacy
- Darren (10/5): Exceptional -
- Colin (5/5): Good stay, but some things need attention. - Location excellent. Very spacious Bathroom was a wet room, shower temperature controls weren’t working properly, the drain was blocked causing water to flood the wet room and go into the hall.
Kitchen hob was antiquated and very slow to heat.
General finish of the property needs upgrading to be in line with other properties in this price bracket.
- Dale (10/5): Dog walking break - Excellent facilities, parking right outside the door. Very secluded. Village with nice pub 10 min drive away, 45 min walk. Hosts very welcoming. Hope to visit again
- Sally (10/5): Exceptional -
- Lee (10/5): Excellent value and Accomodation - Venue was lovely, really well set out and a very nice place for a romantic weekend. Facilities were great with everything we needed, hosts were amazing, friendly and helpful.
- Pamela (10/5): Exceptional -
- Michael (9/5): Very relaxing. What we needed. - The host was very helpful with local information. Lovely bridle paths for walking the dog. Quite location, which is why we chose Killarney Barn. Nice touch with fresh milk and orange juice in the fridge. Not a fan of using wet rooms, but that is my personal opinion. No extractor above the hob.
- Helen (9/5): Relaxing and comfortable - Great location and very peaceful
- John (10/5): It was just what we'd hoped for. - The location was ideal. Our hosts were very friendly and very helpful. The bed was more comfortable than our bed at home 😄. Although the weather was very cold, being mid December, inside the barn was really warm and cosy. We would definitely recommend it and will hopefully be returning in the future.
- Mathew (9/5): Perfect home from home. - The quiet secluded location allowing for a peaceful wind down after a long day with a home cooked meal. My only issue, and this is a small one, I couldn’t seem to pick up the Wi-Fi. Would suggest getting a booster to cover the accommodation. Like I said, a very small issue.
- Kelly (9/5): Superb - Everything, the location the property and the host was lovely Nothing
- Robert (8/5): A peaceful location just a few miles from Petersfield. - Excellent kitchen. Tea, coffee, milk, orange juice supplied. Shower control stuck on hot only. No matter how much rotating it refused to reduce it's shower heat. No other taps were thus affected. No problem for me but my partner prefers a luke-warm shower.
- Gina (10/5): Very nice barn in a lovely quiet location with deer out of the kitchen window. - We had milk and orange juice provided which was different from advertised but absolutely fine for us. Nothing
- Rich (10/5): Exceptional -
- Ian (10/5): Comfy accommodation in a quiet and relaxing environment - Quiet and remote location, with very little noise, allowing for for rest and relaxation,in a comfy, well laid out accomodation. Possibly could do with an armchair to go with the sofa.
Small freezer would be a good addition for the longer stays(but not essential)
- Natasha (10/5): Exceptional -
- Colin (9/5): Great host, great quiet location - Good location and well equipped. Lots of info on local places to visit.
- Jennifer (7/5): Underwhelmed - The air conditioning. The sofa was comfy. One shelf in the fridge. Too many carbs in the breakfast ingredients. No variety. No cereals/maybe yoghurts. The shower needs a wet mat. The oven was unclean and greasy. The previously used j cloth wasn't pleasant and a well used washing up gadget was past it's sell by date.
The internet connection was poor.
Seating area needs tidying up. A spent roll up thrown down was unpleasant.
- Ellen (9/5): Absolutely super with friendly, helpful hosts. -
- Davina (8/5): Great find, would stay again A** - Great location, beautiful views, on site parking, comfortable stay and really lovely, helpful couple, great communication Wifi had weak signal
- Simon (10/5): Great access to goodwood and lovely surrounding towns -
- Werner (9/5): Nice location, comfortable and clean. Great hospitality - Nice location, great hospitality, nice interior WLAN literally not working, signal extremely weak
- Sarah (9/5): Superb -
- Christoph (9/5): Very nice and welcoming hosts - was perfect for our short stay - Very nice and welcoming hosts - allowed us to park our trailer on their premises which was great - was perfect for our short stay.
- Chris (10/5): Exceptional -
- David (10/5): An exceptional place to stay - A wonderful location and fantastic hosts. The barn is very comfortable and had everything we needed for a relaxing and pleasant stay. Able to park right outside the barn and the location is quiet and peaceful. For us, there wasn't anything not to like. The barn is clean, tidy with good quality fixtures and fittings. We immediately felt comfortable, safe and welcome there.
- Malcolm (9/5): You can see a herd of deer from your window. the air con was wonderful and the barn is very nice. -
- Susan (8/5): Lovely and quiet but in a good location for visiting places of interest. -
- Shelagh (10/5): Exceptional - My stay at Killarney Barn was just what I needed. Peace, tranquility; a fantastic location. The Barn itself is beautifully appointment and clean. For me there was nothing missing!

- Tina (9/5): Great location, great property lovely hosts - Was a really lovely property. Milk, orange juice, butter, fruit loaf, bread and cereal provided. Great location, great property and lovely hosts.
- Anthony (10/5): Ideal base to explore West Sussex and Hampshire from - I booked this on behalf of my dad and step-mum. They had a lovely short stay. They reported back how much they liked the accommodation. It had everything they needed for a 2 night stay. And a lovely location.
They reported that the hosts were pleasant and helpful. No complaints
- Eve (10/5): Exceptional - good
- Lucy (10/5): Killarney Barn, perfection. - It was a beautiful little home away from home. I slept for the first time in weeks! Woke to deer and bird song a d didn't need to leave as a scrumptious breakfast was left for us. Perfect mini break away. The only minor draw back is we didn't have longer there!
- W1ldtiger (8/5): Very good - Lovely setting great walks and having deer outside the kitchen window was amazing.
Owner very helpful and friendly. The extra touches of bread milk cereal and few other foods was nice. The photo was bit misleading it leads you to believe you are in a separate area. However there was no private yard the area in photo was part of the owners yard so full of their cars.
We had thought we would have a place to sit have a drink and relax outside.
- Bob (7/5): Good -
- Angie (10/5): A relaxing, enjoyable and private retreat. - Generous and varied selection for breakfast. Quiet, rural and peaceful location, private. In easy reach of walks, NT properties and places to visit. Comprehensive local area display board gave us plenty of ideas of things to do. Air conditioning was brilliant in the hot weather. Hosts were so welcoming. A real retreat.
- Helen (10/5): Excellent stay. - Very generous and delicious breakfasts provided. Friendly hosts and comfortable property. Air conditioning very welcome too!
- Elaine (8/5): Very good - Nice of the road walk into pettersfield quiet location No private outside sitting space
