• Giovanna (10/5): - Die Unterkunft war sehr ruhig und in einem sehr schönen Quartier. Wir hatten das Zimmer zum Innengarten. Vor der Unterkunft ist eine Baustelle. Mit Koffern ist es schwierig hinzukommen.
• Malene (9/5): - The apartment is very nice and clean, it has a large nicely renovated bathroom. The location in Kalsa is close to everything, and I felt totally safe there, also everywhere else in the city. The kitchen is convenient for breakfast and light cooking, coffee pods supplied, plus crackers, there's a refrigerator in the room. There's a small balcony facing an overgrown lot, with trees and birds. Perfect location, close to the train station and lots of restaurants in the neighborhood. The apartment is fairly dark, probably fine if it's really hot in summer, however the lights in the apartment are very bright, typical for Italy, but not the cosy atmosphere, they flood the room with cold light! The bed is very firm.
• Karolina (10/5): Tolle moderne undsaubere Unterkunft mit neuem Bad! - Sehr saubere und tolle Unterkunft. Man hatte alles drin was man brauchte. Die Lage ist top und auch das Personal. Wir hatten einen super zwei tätigen Aufenthalt hier. Kann ich nur empfehlen! Die Einrichtung ist neu und vor allem das Bad ist sehr modern und sauber und hat keinen komischen Geruch. Wir sind sehr zufrieden :)
• Claudia (10/5): Absolut empfehlenswert! - Nach Verspätung unseres Fluges kamen wir erst in der Nacht an und wurden von Stephanie und Domus am kostenfreien Parkplatz herzlich empfangen und zum wunderschönen, gemütlichen und ruhig gelegenen Appartement begleitet 😊 Die zentrale Lage in der Altstadt ist perfekt, alle Sehenswürdigkeiten sind fußläufig erreichbar! Der Balkon mit Blick in den urigen Garten ist ein Traum👍 Einzig, die Matratze war für mich etwas hart - aber das ist Ansichtssache 😉

• Wilhelm (10/5): Extremely lovely - The apartment is very clean and has all equipment that you would need - even for a longer stay. The area has more locals than tourists which we found more convenient. Everything is in a walking distance- shops, restaurants, sight seeing and sea shore. Stefania and her husband were extremely friendly and responsive. The only downside might be that the apartment is in a ZTL and you cannot move in front of the house. However, a free parking place is nearby.

It is rare to find an accommodation so thoughtfully arranged and practical during our travels around the world. Thank you for making our stay so enjoyable. The only challenge was finding a parking spot in the centro storico, but that’s normal for the area.

• Melissa (10/5): Wunderschön ausgestattete Wohnung in idealer Lage mit herzlichem Empfang und unkomplizierter Organisation. - Die Lage ist ideal, sehr zentral und trotzdem ein Stück weit abseits der typischen Touristenströme. In der direkten Umgebung gibt es viele sehr gute Restaurants und Bars, außerdem einen Supermarkt, den man in höchstens fünf Minuten zu Fuß erreicht. Die Wohnung ist hervorragend ausgestattet und der Preis ist dafür absolut fair. Wir hatten sie ursprünglich als Paar gebucht, mussten aber kurzfristig umplanen und ein Freund ist stattdessen mitgereist. Dank der Aufteilung und Ausstattung hat das wunderbar funktioniert. Der Empfang war herzlich und die Organisation bis zur Ankunft lief schnell, unkompliziert und ausgesprochen freundlich. Wer empfindlich auf Lärm reagiert, sollte wissen, dass es sich trotz der etwas ruhigeren Lage immer noch um eine sehr touristische Stadt handelt. Besonders am Wochenende kann es abends lebhafter werden. Mit Ohrstöpseln ließ sich das aber gut ausgleichen.

Il est vraiment très bien équipé, moderne, propre et la literie est confortable ( enfin des oreillers en Italie qui n'ont pas l'épaisseur de timbres postes). Le quartier est de loin le plus agréable de la ville et la rue est très calme. Le lave linge est un vrai plus. Un grand merci à la propriétaire qui a toujours été très disponible et qui nous a attendu sur place en dépit des trois heures de retard de notre train Un égouttoir pour la vaisselle mais c'est très secondaire

D'Alessio (10/5): Cinque giorni da favola - Posizione favolosa a due passi da tutto in un quartiere bellissimo nel mezzo del centro storico di Palermo dii sera molto ben frequentato, e fresco. La casa dotata di tutto ciò che serve la signora Stefania ha curato ogni minimo dettaglio e sempre a disposizione per ogni esigenza. Torneremo in questo bb ci siamo sentiti come a casa. Ottimo!

• Wakana (10/5): - We could have a great time in Palermo as our last destination of Sicilly trip. Stefania kindly accepted our early check in and pepared room well including buying olive oil which was missing. She was always ready to support for making sure everything was going well with us. The location was great to explore Palermo, hitorical places and markets. Yacht harbour was also close by and we had a nice everning walk there. Balcony was a little oasis, facing common greenary space and trees made shadows which protect room from the strong heat of sun.

• Thorsten (10/5): Brandneues, top ausgestattetes Apartment in ruhiger und doch sehr zentraler Lage von Palermo - Wir wurden von den Gastgebern bei Ankunft persönlich empfangen und mit Gebäck begrüßt. Das Apartment ist mit allem ausgestattet, was man sich vorstellen kann, Einrichtung und Küchenausstattung sind neu und von hoher Qualität. Man kann schön auf dem Balkon sitzen und am Leben im historischen Kalsa-Viertel teilhaben, es ist aber nie laut und wird abends dann auch schnell ganz ruhig, wenn die Restaurants schließen. Man ist zu Fuß in wenigen Minuten bei den Quattro Canti, dem Mittelpunkt von Palermo und kann sein Auto getrost auf dem kostenlosen Parkplatz stehen lassen, den man von Stefania angewiesen bekommt (und wenn man ihn nicht gleich findet, begleitet ihr Mann einen auch persönlich dorthin). Alles in allem sehr empfehlenswert. Alles bestens - man sollte allerdings immer daran denken, dass sich im Flur vor den beiden Apartments eine Treppenstufe befindet, wo man nicht unbedingt eine vermuten würde.

• Guest (10/5): Merveilleux séjour, on reviendra avec un grand plaisir chez Stefania si l’occasion se présente 🥰 - Nous avons aimé l’accueil chaleureux de Stefania, la location était super bien agencée et décorée avec goût. On a reçu de petites attentions dès notre arrivée avec de l’eau fraîche, du jus de fruits et de quoi petit déjeuner le lendemain matin. Il y a même au besoin une buanderie. Il y aussi de la documentation sur la ville, la Sicile en plusieurs langues que l’on peut emprunter. L’emplacement est calme dans un quartier mêlant histoire, artistes, artisans et petits restaurants. Tout cela non loin du centre historique. Tout était super ❤️

The host was very nice— preparing snacks, water, and drinks for us. She also let us use the washing machine. The room was spacious, with a balcony and a nice view. Our flight was at 7 a.m., and we were worried about getting a taxi that early, so the host even helped us find a taxi driver.
• Anna (10/5): Perfect stay in Kalsa, the coolest district in Palermo. - We loved the neighborhood with its bars and restaurants, lively community spaces filled with families and young people, and its closeness to all the main sightseeing spots. Despite the central location, the street is quiet, and the apartment faces a green courtyard—perfect for enjoying our first coffee of the day on the balcony. The host kindly provided water, juice, and local snacks, which was a lovely gesture. I also found the shower very comfortable. Communication with the host was smooth and pleasant—they even gave us a map with key places nearby, including grocery stores. Check-in was flexible, which we greatly appreciated. All in all, we had a perfect stay at Domus Vetriera. Nothing to add here.

Très appréciable, le calme, pas de bruit de la rue car il donne sur un espace vert avec une terrasse bienvenue. Idéalement placé dans le quartier de Kalsa ! • Melvyn (9/5): Lovely ,clean, well equipped apartment in a very interesting historic part of town - The property is located in the Kalsa area of Palermo and is quite a walk to the main sites of central Palermo. However the 'Hop on, Hop off' tourist bus stops just a few hundred metres away from the property. Parking is also a few hundred metres away from the property. Our hosts were really helpful with our check in and helping us with locating the car park. The apartment is actually two apartments with a shared front door and hallway. It is on the first floor and there is no lift. The garden mentioned is an overgrown area of trees and plants. However, the apartment was spotlessly clean and well equipped and there is a fabulous restaurant just feet away from the front door. Would recommend staying here to anyone nothing

• Mikko H (10/5): Beautiful big, just renovated apartment - The room was just renovated with good taste, so everything was new and clean. Apartment has two rooms. Good size living room with modern kitchen, bedroom and bathroom. Bedroom and bathroom are good size and also new (7/2024). Apartment is in 1st floor. Owner is very nice and helpful and speaks good English. Location is close to nice restaurant streets and the beach and beach boulevard. These streets around the apartment are clean and safe. Nice area. Around 20 min walk to city center. Near the house is a square where parking of car is possible, but there is no dedicated parking place for your car. House does not have an elevator. For us it wasn't a problem.
• Hans-Robert (10/5): Schöne Unterkunft in bester Lage - Die bestens ausgestattete Wohnung hat eine ausgezeichnete Lage, nur ein paar Schritte zum Meer oder dem Zentrum. Restaurants und Lebensmittel in unmittelbarer Nähe. Die sehr nette Vermieterin hat uns mit guten Tipps versorgt. Nächstes Mal werden wir auf jeden Fall wieder diese Unterkunft wählen. -nichts
• Alexandra (9/5): - Die Wohnung ist super sauber, tolle Vermieter und liegt ruhig in einer kleinen Gasse. Trotzdem sehr zentral. Das Zentrum von Palermo und auch der Bahnhof sind schnell fußläufig erreichbar.

L'appartement manque de luminosité et l'éclairage, avec ampoules blanches dans l'appartement, n'est pas très chaleureux
• Margaret (10/5): - The apartment was beautifully decorated and very comfortable and had everything we required for a four night stay. It was in a really nice area with restaurants on the door step. To the right it was a five minute walk to the marina and to the left it was a ten minute walk to the main city. If we return to Palermo we would definitely choose to stay in this apartment again and would also recommend it to family and friends. We were greeted by the hosts son who was extremely helpful and the host was always available if required. There was nothing we did not like everything was perfect.

• Anna (10/5): A beautiful apartment to stay in! - Wonderfully located charming apartment. It’s very central, within walking distance to main attractions, 15 min walk from the train station, sea is just around the corner! It has all the necessary equipment and a comfortable bed. Bathroom is great! The balcony is facing quiet area (garden) so it brings calm, which makes it the best place to stay while in bustling Palermo. I found it very safe walking in the neighborhood, even late at night. And the most important, the owner, Stefania, is very nice and helpful, quickly responding and giving advice in what you need. A lovely stay!! Very much recommended.

• Teresa (10/5): I had an amazing time and can't wait to come back. - Stylish and very comfortable apartment, fantastic location in the most interesting and historic area of Palermo, very quiet and a perfect place to relax after a day of sightseeing (and eating!). Great air conditioning and a lovely little balcony for fresh air and morning coffee. The studio is perfect for one or two people, and there is a one bedroom flat across the hall if you have a larger group. Your hosts are charming and very helpful too. Everything was great!
