- Georgina (10/5): Victorian, beautiful, very friendly staff - I loved it! The hotel is simply beautiful, a truly lovely Victorian style and very well preserved (it's not modern, which makes it my favorite). The hotel is right on the seafront and only 100 meters from the town center. The rooms are beautiful. It was my mom's first holiday in Wales, She's Argentinian and I wanted her to experience a Victorian-style hotel; I think I found the perfect one.they booked us a special room with an incredible seafront view. The owner is a very kind and smiling person, always attentive to our needs. I highly recommend it for families with children as it's a very peaceful hotel. I will definitely return.

- Susan (7/5): - Location Bathroom getting a shower was very awkward 1st day couldn't get the hot water on 2nd day tried to get a bath have to get in the bath to turn the bath on
- Clare (7/5): Lovely overnight stay in Llandudno - The view from the window
The location
The ease of checking in and out The host was not very friendly at all and was put out by my arrival.
The bed could be comfier
Outdated but I guess that is the style of the accommodation.
The fact that I was not able to alter the date at all after booking.
The view from the window was great but the window wasn’t clean from the outside.
- Ian (8/5): Lovely old building in a very convenient location - Lovely old building in a very convenient location for the seafront, pier and Great Orme. Friendly and helpful staff. Good quality furnishings in the room and the smart TV was a bonus for my daughter. The bathroom was a little tired and not decorated very well, but the shower was good - a minor point in an overall good stay.
- Sonja (9/5): - Super Lage, war sauber, schönes passendes Flair des Zimmers zur Promenade. Öffentlicher Parkplatz etwas weiter weg, aber was auch ok. Die Lage des Hotels ist natürlich total zentral.

- Michael (9/5): - Comfortable, great location, friendly atmosphere
- Steven (10/5): Lovely, lovely stay! - We booked the Cumberland last minute after an issue with our original hotell.
The lady that checked us in was lovely and friendly,
Our room was lovely, clean and comfortable, complimentary toiletries, tea and coffee making facilities including a fridge.
We had a room with a sea view and got to see two gorgeous sun rises.
Although we had an upsetting experience with the first hotel, it turned out to be a blessing in disguise, and we will definitely be booking into The Cumberland again!

- Bell (9/5): Very enjoyable. - The property was clean the owner and staff were very welcoming and couldn’t do enough to help are stay enjoyable. There wasn’t anything we didn’t like other than would have been nice to have breakfast at the property.
- Darlington (9/5): -
- Som (10/5): Amazing experience - The rooms cleanliness, facilities and decorations were amazing. Location was right on the beach, 1 min. The property does not have dedicated parking space. But you can park in any near parking space and hotel will provide permit. Luckily I got parking nearby so no issues for me except searching for the spot :).
- Anwar sajjad (7/5): -
- Thomas (10/5): We had an excellent stay, Tess was a wonderful host. Will always look here first when visiting LLandudno - Everything, there was nothing not to like Nothing at all to dislike
- Riley (9/5): One of the best holidays I've ever had, we couldn't have asked for a better experience! - The location is perfect! Just a stone's throw from the beach & in prime location for accessing local restaurants, the pier & the Great Orme. The lady running the hotel (I believe her name was Tess) was lovely & so helpful from the minute we checked in. We couldn't have asked for a better stay, we just wish we didn't have to leave so soon! The view from the room wasn't much exciting but you could see part of the Great Orme so that was lovely! Would've loved a sea view but that's just me being greedy.
- Mari-Louise (7/5): - Utsikten från det rymliga rummet och läget. Bekväm säng, gratis te och kaffe. Kylskåp på rummet. Lite slitet och gammalt. Att det saknades frukostmöjligheter.
- Frances (8/5): Very good. - Location was lovely.with a view of sea and sky.
Plenty of interesting ornaments.
Nice to have small fridge and little table and chairs in the bay window. The flights of stairs... we're in our seventies.
The ensuite was cramped but adequate.
Would have been nice to have a breakfast on offer.
- Naomi (10/5): -
- Dodd (1/5): Appalling - The loca was lovely infont of sea view The bed was on two mattresses
We slept on a mattress protecter no top sheet on bed but was on the single bed.
Bathroom very small couldn't get into shower come bath as you had to get in via bk of bath .
There were dead insects on skirting board in room was still there when we left then a bug on my husbands pillow I have photos.
There was no break fast no bar ,the staff were no were to be seen through the stay.I would like some sort of compensation or my money bk £280 is a lot of money

- Graeme (9/5): Quirky, convenient, cosy, simple and all I needed. - Very quirky styling, could say dated but nice I stayed in room 14 which is up a lot of stairs. When arriving with lots of bags it’s quite a challenge to carry them up the narrow staircase
- Khurshid (3/5): Disappointed 😞 - The rooms and bathroom were clean.
The staff was friendly and approachable. The beds were so uncomfortable that my husband and son were complaining they couldn't sleep. Every time they tried to change their side, the bed made a creaking sound as though it's about to break. Both me and my husband ended up with back pain, due to which we only stayed 2 nights and checked out earlier than we planned to. We booked to stay for 3 nights, but because the beds were so uncomfortable, we only stayed for 2 nights and left.
The staff made up the bed in one of the rooms on the first day and didn't bother with the second room. The second day, they made up the bed in the second room and left the first room.
I had to ask for toilet paper after it finished.
The rooms were really hot and stuffy, another reason we couldn't sleep for most of the night. One bedroom had a fan that didn't work. The second bedroom didn't even have a fan.
Our rooms were on the second floor. Every time someone moved around on the third floor, we could hear them like as if they were stomping around. That was due to the floor boards being really old and loose. We could hear the doors banging.
For the price we paid over all, it was a very disappointing experience 😕
- HP (10/5): -
- jennifer (9/5): - We had a up grade and it was on the first floor, with see view Parking
- Sachin Bagora (9/5): - nice nothing
- Timothy (7/5): Good for the price - Beds were comfortable, room and bathroom were spotlessly clean. WiFi worked well and there was a Roku TV, so convenient for Netflix etc. Beds were turned down and things restocked and tidied during the stay.
Location is the best, right next to the sea and central.
Price was reasonably.
No on site breakfast options, but lots in the immediate area including a Wetherspoons 2 mins walk away. Worst thing was that the shower temperature was all over the place. Various other things needed some attention - non-functional fridge, towel heater bodged onto the wall, but these didn't really affect our stay.

- Amanda (7/5): Great location and value. - The location was great, right on the Prom. The room was small, the view was of the back of other hotels and retail businesses.
- Steve (8/5): -
- Dilwyn (9/5): - View very good
- Martin (10/5): Perfect! - Beautifully clean and comfortable. Nothing!
- Karen (6/5): - The 4 poster bed was comfortable and original 4 flights of stairs to 2nd floor, no lift. Decor a bit shabby, in need of tlc
- David (9/5): - Spot on location and a bargain price
- Jeroen (10/5): - De kamer was perfect: schoon, ruim en een mooi uitzicht op de zee. De mensen van het hotel zijn erg aardig en behulpzaam. Hotel staat op een perfecte locatie.
- gareth (8/5): -
- Jackie (8/5): Comfy bed ideal location made a nice break. - Ideal position Couldn’t call it a hotel just a room to rent as there was no food or bar.
- Sayek (8/5): my wife and me enjoyed the stay in the hotel specially the location was perfect - i liked the location room too small
- Maria (10/5): - Superb
- Mark (8/5): - Lovely friendly host, Tess.
- Victoria (10/5): Good value for money in prime location - Comfortable and great location Nothing
- Bagnall (10/5): - Everything
- Samantha (8/5): -
- Storey (6/5): No sleep! - Nice hotel in a good location friendly staff The room we had was a little tired, window units had blown so they looked bad and couldn't see through them. We were on the top floor so lots of steps. Bed sheets were stained. Fridge was on a wobbly shelf and didn't work. Generally a bit run down. We needed the window open because it was very warm, we suffered alot if noise as a result! All night rowdy behaviour from revellers compounded by Seaguls! Fun fact.. Seaguls have zero respect!!
