• Fred (3/5): - great location, easily accessible I don't usually leave reviews but I really didn't have a pleasant stay here unfortunately. Room was damp and musty and smelt unpleasant, sheets were stained, everything felt quite grimy and there was a massive flying cockroach in the room on the last night. Room wasn't cleaned whilst I was there - one of the days I put DND on the door as I was taking a call but the next day nothing was refreshed. I have stayed elsewhere on the island before and had a great experience but wanted to try somewhere new and was very disappointed.
• Thomas__K (10/5): - Sehr unkomplizierte und spontane Buchung (sind hier auf eine Fakebuchung hereingefallen). Vermieter sehr hilfsbereit und freundlich. Wohnung riesig und tolle Betten (bequem da eher weich). Lage um was zu essen (und am nächsten Tag früh zum Flughafen zu kommen) sehr gut. Um in die Altstadt zu kommen, benötigt man aber schon ein Taxi oder ähnliches. Unterkunft eignet sich bestens, wenn man mehrere Tage in Hanoi verbringt. Würden wir wieder buchen.
• Robert (10/5): Stay here. Great clean apartment, Great value. - Everything. Quiet area with heaps of good restaurants, cafes and convience store. So quiet but a $2aud ride to the old quarter. Super clean. Great hosts. Good showers. Very comfy beds. Serviced daily. Lake is really nice and clean. Just loved it and am coming back next week for a few days before we go home. Aircon great. Big room. Great value Hard to pick anything. Wifi a bit slow but think that might be a Ha noi thing. My phone wifi wasn't the greatest either. Maybe a few more plates and cutlery, but we at out all the time.

• Gunnar (10/5): Die Wohnung ist tipptopp - Das ist keine Fake-Rezession ! Die Unterkunft ist super sauber, hat keine unangenehme Gerüche. Die Fenster sind schalldicht und die Lage ist außerdem in einem ruhigen Viertel. Die Klimaanlage hat die Wohnung perfekt gekühlt ohne unangenehm zu sein. Die Küche ist nicht für das Kochen ausgestattet, aber wer kocht in Hanoi schon selber ?

• Lauren (7/5): - Location was nice and mostly quiet, and apartment had good wifi and amenities. Great to have two bathrooms as well. A misunderstanding about when we'd check out meant we were woken up by the host walking into the apartment at 7am while we were sleeping. Otherwise, all good.
• Suzette (8/5): Perfectly positioned apartment near West Lake - Perfectly positioned in a corner of Hanoi just off West Lake, this apartment was ideal for us. Comfortable and secure with a great bed we loved our four days here. It is well equipped with everything needed for cooking, but why would you bother with Hanoi on your doors. We walked everywhere. The neighborhood had enough coffee shops and restaurants to keep us happy for weeks. The washing machine was a bonus. We could have used some information about how to use the washing machine and the metal shutters going up and down throughout one night were irritating.

• Siegfried (7/5): aufgrund der Anzeige hatte ich es mir besser vorgestellt, hat aber seinen Zweck erfüllt. - Unkomplizierter schneller Login. Die Wohnung hat ein Schlafzimmer mit Fenster, das Wohnzimmer, das zweite Schlafzimmer und die Bäder sind ohne Fenster und entsprechend etwas muffig.
• Haytham (10/5): - I would like to thank Ms. Tam for hosting us in this apartment hotel. She was very cooperative and met all our needs at any time, whether related to the apartment or other special needs such as booking a car or inquiring about matters related to the city. The apartments are very clean and exactly as shown in the pictures on the Booking website. There is no difference. I will come back to stay at these apartments every time I visit Hanoi and I will recommend them to all my colleagues.
• Rebecca (8/5): Cheap and cheerful - - well priced - quiet - clean enough (it wasn't UK hotel room clean, but it wasn't dirty like some Asian hotels we have stayed in) - kitchenette useful - very good washer dryer (though could be easier to use) - nice pho place for breakfast 5-10 minutes walk away (pho tien) - host was excellent - location wasn't the most convenient - balcony had no seating - needed a new shower head! - no natural light in thr living room - no blinds in the bedroom windows which meant light came in (windows were facing a wall so it wasn't lots of light, but was enough to wake our son)

AC in one of the bedrooms was not working, just blowing air and making noise but cooling the room at all. Water pressure in en suite bathroom was very weak, too weak to use. Saying that, i will still return here next time we're in Vietnam, these little things don't take away from the awesome experience.

Mrs Tam the owner was so helpful and went above and beyond to help ensure it was a pleasant stay, from arranging airport pickup to answering any questions we had. Amazing value for money. Cleaned everyday by staff and with replaced toileteries and water bottle. The location is little problem only for cases when you book any tour, the pickup is not available. otherwise can and regular commutation is good.

• Luis (3/5): If you like comfort, skip this place. - The host is really kind and helpful. Cheap Price. Well, right from the taxi dropoff we knew we were in trouble. The building from outside looks badly mantained, and this vibe is carried on inside. You can feel the dirtness of everything. We were affraid of touch anything and really didn't feel comfortable. We ended up staying just one night and it was enough to get a skin rash.
• Eric (9/5): Fantastic stay with Super host in Hanoi - I had a fantastic stay at Wins Apartment. The location is incredibly strategic. It's only 15-20 minutes walking to Old Quarter area making it easy to explore the city's key attractions. There's also a lot of restaurants, and cafes nearby. The apartment itself was spotless, with excellent cleanliness and attention to detail. It was also well-equipped with everything I needed for a comfortable stay, including a microwave, induction stove, and a washing machine—perfect for both short and long-term stays. One of the highlights was the host Mrs Tam, who was incredibly responsive and helpful. Any questions or requests were promptly addressed, making my experience even more seamless and enjoyable. She even help us to get our swallowed atm card back by contacting this local bank there. Overall, I highly recommend Wins Apartment for anyone looking for a well-located, clean, and well-equipped place to stay in Hanoi with top-notch hospitality. I definitely will stay here again if we visit Hanoi in the future.
• Nicol (10/5): Wonderful little apartment with even more wonderful people running it. - So lucky to have reserved this apartment. The facility was great, but what really made it perfect was the staff. Mrs. Tam, the host, was incredibly kind to me. I fell ill with pneumonia/tonsillitis while in Hanoi and Mrs. Tam constantly communicated with me on WhatsApp while I recuperated. She made sure I was OK and had everything I needed and her staff brought me food, etc. And her lovely cleaning lady even accompanied me to the hospital to see a doctor. I cannot thank them enough for taking such good care of me as a solo traveler, so far away from home. The apartment itself was well appointed, clean and comfortable. The washer dryer combination was an amazing addition so I could wash clothes, and the kitchenette had all utensils, and even a rice cooker. Hanoi is a hectic, chaotic city, but this apartment is outside the main tourist area, sitting on a side street and is somehow tucked away from the urban craziness. It’s actually quiet at night. The location is right off of West Lake and it’s just a short walk/grab ride to the city’s old quarter. Oh, and the price is excellent as well.

• Gloria (10/5): Appartment in residential area - The host and her helpers are super flexible and helpful. Everything is easy. The Appartment is spacious for 2 adults and for families. The location is so fun, as it is a real residential area, free of massive tourism. Not in the old city but super easy to reach via Grab. The host is always available for every type of question/request. There is a washing machine with dryer. The refrigerator is big. They organized the airport pickup for us.

• K (9/5): Not to be missed, exceptional value. - Super host, Mrs Tam was available to answer questions and request before, during and after our stay at the apartment. We stayed three times there as we used Hanoi as the base for our Northern Vietnam trip. As I was allergic to WA, we used the messaging function from Booking.com and Mrs Tam was very fast at responding. The three apartments we stayed at were all spacious, airy and comfortable. The 2 in 1 washer and dryer was much appreciated. The neighborhood was vibrantly lively but not touristy with several good restaurants and cafes to satisfy your craving; like Phở Cuốn Hưng Bền and Gạt Tàn Coffee. Two of the apartments had bathtubs when we would have preferred a shower instead.

Found a superb place for breakfast on the west lake. Loads of hot water. Some parts of the bathroom were getting tired but overall nothing was an issue

• Subonita (10/5): We had a fantastic 2 week stay here! The hosts and support staff were excellent :) - Communication with the host was amazing! She reached out to us via WA before our arrival and also helped organise airport shuttle which really helped as I landed middle of the night. Throughout our stay, she promptly responded to all of our queries / requests, and her support staff were on hand to help us out quickly! Even with language barriers, this proved no problem with a bit of help from the internet and a big smile :D The apartment itself is really spacious and has everything you need for a wonderful stay in Hanoi! Just note to others that this is a little outside the main Old Quarter area, but no problem as it's a short walk / Grab ride away :) highly recommend! Nothing to add here, everything was great with our stay!
• Jeff (10/5): Just book it. You will not be disappointed. - Everything about this stay is exceptional. You will be hard pressed to find one with this much value packed it. The airport shuttle service, the request to stop on the way to quickly get a Sim card, the security guard with such a friendly and personable demeanor, the beautiful clean and spacious apt, the excellent amenities such as the 2 in 1 clothes washer and dryer, the quiet and scenic location, and finally the most gracious host that provides you with endless support, Mrs Tam. At one point during our trip, and only because our room was pre-booked with other guests, we had to spend a couple of nights in the old quarter. For nearly the same price, we got nothing more than a rock hard bed in a 12ft by 8ft room. It was super noisy and looked nothing like the pictures. We couldn't wait to get back to the WIN apt for our 2nd booking. Of course you can stay at a 5 star hotel, but if you want a super warm and personable experience that won't break the bank, then book your stay with Mrs. Tam. The grass is not greener in the old quarter that's for sure. Also keep in mind that you are also getting a living area that you can talk and map out your daily plans. It beats hotel lobbies ten fold. Grab cars had no problem finding the location and it's barely $1 to and from the old quarter. Tip: Mrs Tam shares a wealth of insider knowledge. Even the locals are surprised that we knew so much. When they ask how did we know that, we just smile. Find comfort in knowing that she truly cares for her guests and will always steer you in the right direction. Make sure you download the app "WhatsApp" and connect with her. She responds quickly, but please show her the same courtesy. Honestly, there wasn't anything we did not like. If you expect more, then expect to pay much much more. End of story.

• Andrey (8/5): Nice place to stay in Hanoi - That's a lovely apartment in the quite area, 20min/5min walk/ride from the Old Quarters. The guard in the basement is very friendly and helpful, just don't speak English. You can park your scooter there for free. They clean every day and the air conditioning is working perfect. I stayed in the apartment on the third floor. Has a washing machine with a dryer which was perfect! It was quite dark apartment with only one big window in the living room, which full height - meaning everybody from the street could see you if you want some natural light.

• Sayaka (8/5): Attentive follow-up by staff, ideal for long trips. - The entrance is hard to find, but the room was very spacious and clean, and the water supply was fine.It is a little far from town. Convenience is poor, but it is quiet and relaxing. I was assured that the comments were fast and detailed. I was apprehensive at first, but after several exchanges I found him to be a very nice person. He was very helpful in taking over the phone with the cab driver who only spoke Vietnamese. Thank you, manager! The fact that the accommodation fee is in cash or by wire transfer is a hurdle. I wish they would have provided coins. Sometimes the sound of children's voices from other rooms was too loud. I think the room would look nicer without the kitchen mat and the rug mat under the table. I would recommend putting paintings or objects instead.

• Stanislav (8/5): A definite value for money, good choice - Wins apartment may boast a terrific location - at the very heart of old Hanoi city, within a walking distance to everything you should need - cafes, restaurants, grocery stores and a beautiful Ho Truc lake. The room is pretty spacious for a solo traveller, with a comfy bed and mattress, it has a bath and washing machine which adds up to its value for sure. My host was Tam. Even though there was a minor flaw at the very beginning with my booking confirmation, she was then maybe one of the friendliest hosts I’ve seen in my life, always ready to answer and help. Thank you! I would like it to have a drying rack maybe. The only things that comes to my mind

Big modern apartment with everything you need: bathtub, comfy big bed, big dresser, 2 heaters/ a/c, washing machine/dryer, detergent, netflix,...quiet surroundings but also many options to eat 1 min away. 20 min by foot to old quater or ~2€ for a grab. we stayed 3 times and would do so again Humidity is a thing, but they handle it better than most places
• Roger (10/5): New, very comfortable apartment in a perfect location - I can highly recommend this accommodation. The apartment is new and fully furnished and perfectly located on the small residential island effectively in the middle of the city. The locality is thus quiet and quaint, and everything is very accessible though by moped or taxi. The apartment contains all the mod-cons and we found it perfect for our needs. The hand-over of key went very smoothly. Everything was good
• Brent (10/5): Exceptional - We just finished our second stay at the apartment. This was a really wonderful stay for us. Great location, a lot of character to this island community. If you want to be right in the old quarter, it’s a bit of a walk, but it was easy enough to do that or catch a ride. The hosts were amazing. So friendly and so helpful in arranging things that we needed. We also were able to leave some of our gear here for a four day excursion to Cat Ba. The apartment was perfect for our family, and it was great value in a city that is a bit more expensive than other places in Vietnam. We will definitely stay here again, if we come back through Hanoi!
• William (6/5): Great clean apartment in great location. Night time access is difficult. - The location is great for Truc Bach. Apartment was super clean and spacious, with washing machine facilities. Access at night is an issue. You have to ring a bell and wake up a security guard, who then opens a giant shutter that’s really loud and wakes up the entire otherwise super quiet street and then you enter through the basement car park. You also have to do this to leave. I could imagine this causing real problems if 4 people were coming and going from restaurants/bars/shops after 23:00. I didn’t stay for my third night and moved to a different hotel because I was meeting friends for drinks and didn’t want to go through it again! Just something to be aware of if you’re booking and plan to be out late, other than this the apartment is excellent.

• Sharon (9/5): Superb - The communication with the host was exceptional. She was very responsive to every question we had. She arranged the pickup from and return to the airport. The security guide was very friendly. Though he cannot speak English, he used the translation app to communicate with us and there was no problem in picking up the key. The apartment was very clean, roomy and comfortable. There were people smoking on the staircase and the smoke coming into the second bathroom from time to time. And there was also light and noise from the neighbors i could see and hear in the second bedroom. It is a bit pity cos i think the host managed the apartment very nicely but these were the things she could not control.

• Erzsébet (10/5): A gem in Hanoi, highly recommended - The owner made us feel at home. She has arranged a pick up at the airport, and helped in every possible things. The apartement is amazing, spacious, modern, with a cute balcony, view over a little park, just very nice. The beds are super comfortable, it was a joy to stay in the apartment. The neighbourhood is hip, lot of restaurants, bars, the old city is an easy walk.
