• Melina (7/5): Beautiful outdoor area and great location – but the bathroom needs urgent renovation - We stayed at the apartment for three nights and overall, the room was just as we had imagined. The highlight of our stay was definitely the beautiful outdoor area the pool is truly impressive and most of the time we had it entirely to ourselves, except for one occasion when the host’s children and their friends were also using it. The location is great, and we especially loved the dogs, they were very friendly and affectionate. However, we do have to mention that the bathroom really needs urgent attention. As some previous guests have already pointed out, the cleanliness was unfortunately very poor. The toilet seat was loose, the sink was installed at an odd angle, and there was no space to put down any toiletries. The floor wasn’t clean, and there was visible dirt in all the corners. The shower is in serious need of renovation it was not clean, the hot water lasted only about 10 minutes, and it was so cramped that you could barely move.
• Daniela (9/5): Estate a Mondello - Ho soggiornato presso il monolocale per due persone. L' appartamento è composto da un letto matrimoniale (comodo), un angolo cottura con frigo e freezer, bagno (piccolo ma con doccia abbastanza grande), patio con ombrellone per mangiare all' aperto. Questo appartamento si trova di fianco ad una splendida piscina con idromassaggio che potevamo utilizzare senza limiti di orario. Alla sera e di notte la tranquillità ed il silenzio ci hanno consentito di riposare sempre bene. La spiaggia di Mondello dista poco meno di 10 minuti di bicicletta con strada pianeggiante. Il proprietario è stato molto disponibile anche nel darci consigli sugli spostamenti e sulle cose da vedere.
• Guest (9/5): Klein aber feines Zimmer. Super Lage. In der Nähe vom Strand und sehr gute Möglichkeiten nach Palermo. - Super Lage. Pool sowie das Zimmer waren super. Gastgeber was immer hilfsbereit und freundlich. Die Dusche ist nicht für jedermann.

• Ruth (9/5): Geweldig! - We werden super goed ontvangen door de eigenaar. Alles werd uitgelegd en als we vragen hadden, konden we hem zo bereiken en dan kwam hij eraan. Het zwembad was top, heel groot en zelfs een jacuzzi erin. Dit zwembad hebben we eigenlijk de hele tijd voor ons zelf gehad. De locatie is ongeveer 10 min van het strand af met de auto. En van Palermo 25 min, dit was goed te doen. Wij waren erg tevreden met deze accommodatie en raden het zeker aan!

• Gordon (10/5): Felt like we were staying in a luxury villa amongst friends. - The place was in a great location, about 10 mins walk to the beach and similar distance to the commercial heart of Mondello where there were a couple of great restaurants. Max was really helpful and there were bikes we could use to get about. There was a fabulous swimming pool complete with a jacuzzi area. There was also a gym accessible at any time.
• Antonino (7/5): Overall a pleasant stay despite the miscommunication with the hosts - The property was spacious and clean, the hosts were accommodating. And location was good, not far from the beach. I was told by the hosts their dogs wouldn’t be near the pool area, but they were, even though they were harmless but just a heads up for future guests. The property isn’t as private as it’s stated on the site as there were two other apartments with other guests and the hosts were upstairs so the pool area is shared. The host also threw a party on our last evening and were using the pool and surrounding area with loud music so no privacy. There was also miscommunication with our booking. We were expecting two bedrooms but only one was available so we were charged more upon arrival. So be cautious when booking to avoid disappointment as the details of the property wasn’t advertised properly.
• Alison (10/5): We had such a great time at Max’s property. He was so helpful with plenty of advice, organised us a taxi to take us to P - Our apartment was in a quiet part on Mondello yet close enough to work to the beach and shops. The pool was amazing!
• Franziska (9/5): Great location with a lovely pool area and friendly hosts - The villa includes a lovely outdoor space with a clean pool and comfortable seating area. The gym is small but well-equipped - it has everything needed for a holiday workout. The hosts were exceptional—friendly, helpful, and always quick to respond. They provided local tips, arranged transportation. Cleaning, fresh towels and other essentials were always available upon request. The location is ideal, situated in a quiet residential area just a 10-minute walk from the beach, supermarket, and bus stop to Palermo. We also used the taxi shuttle service, which was not only punctual but also a great value compared to taxi apps. -

• Lone (5/5): Not quite worth the money - Beautiful garden and pool. The host, Max, was very friendly and helpful. In the specifications from Booking.com it says that our apartment consisted of a living room and a separate bedroom, but we did not get a living room. All interior should be replaced except the bed, but photos of the apartment make everything look nicer than in reality. There was no place to put one's toiletries in the bathroom. There was no cleaning, no clean towels and no emptying of kitchen waste for 4 days. The apartment was small and dark and we had to roll the curtain as family and other tenants of the property walked right past our window. I would suggest the hosts to spend a few days in the apartment to discover all the shortcomings in the bathroom and in the kitchen. The price is far too high in relation to the level of the apartment.

• Michał (10/5): It was amazing! - Omg, everything. Super cool owners of the villa, easy acces without keys, morning gym in the cave, pool! and free bikes with locks to the beach oh and dogs! Theres two super cool dogs. We’re going to make again 100%. We also had great recomandations from the owner, he booked tabeles for us, told some local stories. Go for it, it’s worth it. No such thing. This place is just great.
• Anna (8/5): Relaxing stay near the beautiful beach - The owner, Max, is extremely helpful and friendly. The outside area is very nice. The pool and the sitting next to it are very relaxing. Pool is clean and well maintained. Outdoor dining area also very nice. The garden is taken care of. A quiet area, relatively close to the beach and not crowded. The atmosphere is relaxing. Good new frying pans, we could cook proper meals. Air conditioners in each room were helpful. The bed was comfortable. A great plus was a gym with various equipment:) The inside of the apartment was a bit of a contrast to the really nice outside area. I am sure the owner does his best to improve and you cannot renovate everything at once, but some things we wanted to mention: - water fixtures are not working properly. It is easy to get burned by really hot water and hard to control the temperature/power. Lots of water is wasted as well with such water fixtures. - microwave and coffee machine are in need of replacement. A plastic bottle for a water container is not good. - blanket sheets are not comfortable as they are just bed sheets and keep exposing the inner blanket. - Curtains not blocking the intense light at night from the artificial lightning outside. - having dishwasher tabs, washing powder, and an extra garbage bag would be nice so people don't have to ask. - cleaning could be more thorough. E.g. bathroom had calc. - water kettle was not usable as smelled intense with chlorine, even after 2x boiling water in it. - large books on the display have a lot of mold behind them( it is unfortunate, but mold is not good for the health.

• Katia (9/5): Beautiful property, very well located - This property is beautiful! The pool is lovely to chill at the end of the day or even to spend the whole day there if you want to relax. The apartment was nice and the bed is very comfortable. The kitchen was well equipped and already had some cooking basics like oil and salt. The location is great, quiet and felt safe, close to the beach and you can always find space to park on the street. Max, the owner, is super nice guy! It was very easy to communicate with him, he explained everything well for a late self check-in and gave us some recommendations for the rest of our trip. The description of the apartment can be improved as it says "...comprised of 1 living room, 1 separate bedroom..." which is not really the case; it is actually 1 open space with bedroom right next to the kitchen, with no separation in-between. Not really an issue as the space is ample, but I think it is worth to clarify. And the bathroom is very small! A tall/big person will definitely struggle.
• Oisin (10/5): Exceptional - Such a lovely place. Max and his family are wonderful. It looks brand new and great care is taken by Max and his team to keep it perfect! Max met us on arrival and organised travel to/from airport and ferry as well as giving us all the local tips we asked for. It’s about 15 minutes walk from town which was no issue for us, and bikes were kindly provided.
