• Janet (7/5): Ok but would not return. - It was very clean and had all the equipment we needed. Michele was very helpful and responsive to our requests. Because it is so small, appliances are on high shelves and not easy to use. The kitchen and outdoor chairs are very uncomfortable

• Marieke (9/5): Convenient and Comfortable - This apartment in Siracusa was a great find. Parking was easy right on the same street as the apartment, which was a real convenience. Michele, the owner, was incredibly kind and helpful. Though he only spoke Italian, we managed to communicate just fine with a mix of English, Spanish, Italian, and a bit of body language! He recommended a fantastic local family-run restaurant where we had the best pasta and fried fish. The apartment itself was very clean, well-equipped with kitchen facilities and cleaning products, and had a modern, light interior design. The room was accessible through a quiet patio that felt like a blend of both tourist and local life, which made it peaceful and calm. The street had a more modest and worn charm, which is typical of many Spanish and Italian coastal towns. That said, it didn’t impact our stay too much, and it’s clear that tourism is starting to bring some of the houses back to life.
• Nelli (10/5): Exceptional - Great location, close to Ortigia and right next to the sea. Had a great time walking around the neighborhood: it's very safe and walkable, with stores and restaurants close by. Michele was very patient when my flight was delayed, and checked in throughout my stay to see if I needed anything. Will be happy to stay at Oltemare during my next trip, too. None.
• Olivia (7/5): Tidy apartment with great location - Perfect location for exploring Syracuse and Ortigia. Decent sized room with kitchenette and bathroom. Good aircon and free parking available on the street. Can walk to cute swim spots up the block or further along the coast. A lockbox setup for the key would be handy.
• Edna (9/5): I would happily go back tomorrow - The hosts were fantastically helpful and kind. They collected me at the airport and took me straight to the flat. The cooking facilities were very basic
