Nice location, working but slow TV in the living room with access to apps Very thin walls so I could hear voices and plumbing and stomps from upstairs and next door. Generally they ended at a reasonable time, though one evening it was in the middle of the night

• Maya Deryani binti (9/5): Cozy Spot in Alaska — Clean, Quiet, and Convenient - Great apartment — clean, quiet, and well-equipped. The kitchen has everything you need, plus a washing machine and dryer which were very convenient. The location is peaceful and close to Walmart, though we mostly used Lyft to get around. Overall, a very comfortable stay, and I’d definitely stay here again if I return to Alaska! We only received the door access code quite late, just before arriving in Alaska. I tried contacting the owner a few days earlier but only got a reply while on the way there. It would be helpful if the code could be shared earlier. That said, the owner was very responsive once I arrived at the airport and even shared some useful tips, especially since we landed around 2am. Some blinds in the living room were broken, so you could see in from outside — it would be good to have those fixed.
• pamela (10/5): Very nice apt, very clean, everything we needed was provided, the bed was comfortable - appreciated the coffee maker, filters, coffee and sugar that were available everything was perfect there were no complaints or problems with the apt that we stayed in.

• Kim (9/5): - Stayed there while visiting our daughter. Very centrally located. I wished the kitchen had a spatula. The only time we cooked there was for breakfast and had to make do with a wooden spoon. Also we left the trash in the place because there was no instructions on where to place it. The bed was a bit too soft for our liking but that is something everyone has a different opinion on.

The location was good - easy to get into downtown and close to restaurants and grocery stores and having laundry facilities was great too. The kitchen sink and the bath were slow draining, and the kitchen sink blocked completely just before we left.

• Kipp (10/5): Great day! Met our needs entirely and a fair price. - It was a great location. It had a handheld showerhead which we greatly appreciated. Everything was as advertised and very comfortable. There was nothing I did not like.

Host supplied the basics including detergent for the laundry. Truly appreciate it! Tight spot for parking.

• Barbara (4/5): - Spacious apartment, clean and tidy. Not in a good area. The taxi driver who dropped us off from the airport told us this was not a good place to stay and not to walk around. The next taxi driver who picked us up said the same and only opened the doors to let us in, then immediately locked the doors as soon as we got in. We went to a hotel close by to see if they had any vacant rooms, but unfortunately, they were fully booked, as Trump was in town. Also, they had to buzz us in as they told us they had to keep their doors locked 24/7! Everyone we came across the next day advised us about safety in the area, so I didn't feel comfortable staying any longer. We were able to get a room at another hotel further away for the next 3 nights, so we only stayed here 1 night. Inside the B & B was fine, but I would not recommend staying in this area.

• Lyn (9/5): - We only stayed here for about 12 hours. We arrived late and left early. We were so happy with the accommodation and all of the amenities. We were just sad that we couldn't stay longer and take advantage of the accommodation more.

Host was extremely rude, calling and yelling at me after I had stuck my head in the open door to ask the housekeeper if I could drop bags off while I went to get some food. She had no problem with it. He did call again later to apologize but still had excuses for his behavior; there were none. The building and yard area definitely lacked upkeep.

They even added a little touch for Valentine’s Day, which made our stay extra memorable. The attention to detail in both service and ambiance was top-notch. Would have loved more bf options

Message at confirmation said I would receive these a week before. When I didn't receive anything by the evening before my stay, I contacted host & they messaged that I'd get them by 3pm check-in time. Did not receive apt# or door code until 1.5 hrs AFTER that & I had to msg again to get them. Tight parking in winter. Not a great neighborhood. No porch light (or not working?). Gets dark early this time of year & apt # was extremely hard to find plus it's icy out--you need the route lit up.

• Dennis (9/5): D & S - The location was excellent. Good amenities. Washer & dryer in the unit were especially nice to have because of our longer than usual stay. Our overall experience was very good. We would recommend this unit to others and stay there in the future. The picture in the review was not our Unit? The floor and stove could have been cleaner. Oven definitely could have cleaner. Maybe a broom type vacuum would be good to have in the unit. There was a lot of sand and grit on floor so we swept it with the broom and dust pan provided and noticed even some small food type items were being swept up also. This was after we had spent just a day there and were careful to wipe our shoes when we entered the unit so this grit and small food pieces were not from us. Since we had a BnB in the past we know attention to details is important.

• Vitali (9/5): Superb - These a really good apartments, they are better than they look at photos :) Very spacious, fully equipped kitchen, you have everything you need. Nothing really, only the price, but everything was hell expensive in July in Alaska.
• Amanda (9/5): Great choice - The apartment was spacious and had everything we needed. It was clean and very quiet (with one exception - see below), and it was convenient having a washing machine and dryer. The owners were helpful, and the price was good as long as you stayed multiple nights. It was difficult to wash the dishes because there was no plug for the sink. When the washing machine in the next-door unit was draining, it made so much noise that we couldn’t have a conversation. Unfortunately our neighbours did their washing at night when we were trying to sleep.

• Andrew (7/5): Good value for money, comfortable accommodation but location is its downfall. - Although marketed as a BnB there was no breakfast option available. Situated in a semi residential area of Anchorage the location was not the best. The interior of the proerty was clean and all necessary requirements for our stay were met. Accesss to the entrance door was down a path along the side of the building. Access from the parking area was made awkward particularly when carrying a suitcase by the prescence of a parked truck (property of the building owner I believe). The view from the lounge window was of a neighbours rather untidy yard.

• Leah (5/5): Passable - Size and set-up, ease of getting in/out. Upstairs neighbor yelling at someone very late at night on the second night. It actually felt like he was screaming at me - he was yelling to 'get out, get out' and when I muted the television to listen/hear (it wasn't loud) he yelled 'yes, you - get out' - it was very scary, especially as a single female traveling alone, this went on for a couple minutes and made me very uncomfortable. If this hadn't happened and made me totally paranoid I would have rated this 'good'.

The neighborhood is sketchy. There were drug addicts and homeless people behind the house. It made me nervous about what might happen to our rental vehicle. The price was very high for the location and type of apt.

• Anna (10/5): The best stay in Alaska ! - Very clean, very well equipped- you can tell the owner is trying to go that extra mile ( hair conditioner and also a ton of streaming services. I was able to indulge my Real Housewives habit !). The apartment seems freshly renovated and is really in a good standard. The location is also very convenient, close to the centre. The host is super nice. Not only did he give us a lift to the depot very early in the morning but also he gave us bear spray along with the training on how to use it . Very well recommended. This has been definitely the best stay in Alaska for me . I liked everything

As we were travelling from a long way away, we would have liked the access code etc earlier, before we left home, & would not have to worry about how to get in while we were travelling

The bed was terrible and why oh why do you have that giant sectional when there’s so many poles coming out of it? You can’t even sit down in a solitary sitting position without feeling a pole sticking up making you uncomfortable. You seem to have a nice setup, this review would have been really positive but for the lack of sleep I got there due to having no where comfortable to rest. I also really liked your dad.
