- Elizabeth (9/5): Comfortable and spacious, central location for touring the mainland attractions. - Well laid out and comfortable accommodation for 6 adults although one couple had to sleep in separate rooms. The house had all we needed for a week’s stay. Kirkwall within 12 minutes drive. Hillside location with Scapa Flow just visible. Loved the copse of young trees, a great contribution to re-growing woodland on the island. Nice sheep and entertaining hens in adjacent fields. A bit out on its own - just a few other houses nearby - walking anywhere on the main road meant dodging fast traffic. So car was needed for all outings.
