• Francesca (8/5): Wonderful stay! - Loved this place! The rooms were all large, aircon worked and had private bathrooms. The main living space was cosy and the kitchen had all the amenities. The location was perfect as it was quiet and close to all the popular spots. The host was always available and a very good communicator. Hard to find as the address doesn’t come up on Google maps. We had to drag our suitcases down a few small streets because the roads are closed to cars. But this actually made it quieter and more private. Thankfully the host welcomed us by our taxi and showed us the way. The stairs are very steep but that adds to the charm

• Emeline (8/5): - Super accueil par l’hôte directement au pied de l’appartement. Organisation d’une visite guidée de la ville à notre demande dès notre arrivée. Mr Romain mis en contact avec un guide francophone. Logement très bien situé dans le centre de la ville. La taille des lits était un peu juste en largeur comme en longueur et nous n’avions pas trop de place pour 7. Mais pour une nuit c’était suffisant.

• tododo (10/5): - アパートメント一棟貸し切り初めてだったが、チェックインからチェックアウトまでほぼ快適に過ごせた。 （ただし4泊だったため、バスタオルは一人に２枚は欲しかった。） Romainさんがすぐ対応してくれたので事なきを得たが、新年早々、電力会社の問題で電気が使えなくなったのは困った。

• marylene (9/5): - La communication très fluide aussi bien avec Eta que Romain et l'organisation du transfert depuis l'aéroport. Nous avons pu arriver de bonne heure et nous installer car il n'y avait pas de voyageurs la nuit précédent notre arrivée. La proximité avec la plupart des sites d'interêts de la ville, on peut facilement se déplacer à pied. Rien à signaler.

• Borut (8/5): - Nastanitev je od centra mesta (Fish Market Zanzibar) oddaljena cca. 15 minut hoje. Namestitev je malce odmaknjena od glavne ceste. Lepo opremljena in urejena namestitev. Kljub temu, da smo v Zanzibar prišli ob 4:00 a.m., nastanitev pa smo imeli ob 1 p.m. nas je upravljalec nastanitve Romain pričakal. Uredil nam je, da smo lahko shranili kovčke in uredil nam je poceni prevoz z letališča. Lokacija, nastanitev je malce skrita v ozkih ulicah.
• Jasper (10/5): Nicely decorated home with great service in the middle of Stone Town. - The guy who provided us with the key was very timely and friendly. He also helped us with arranging a taxi to the airport and we could leave the luggage in the house after check out time. The house feels very authentic and was nicely decorated. The shower was great. We could live here! The stairs are steep (not a problem for us, but might be for people who are less mobile).

• Isabelle (10/5): Parfait pour visiter la ville - Excellent emplacement dans la partie touristique de Stone Town, parfait pour visiter la vieille ville à pied. Accueil très gentil de Romain, qui nous a aussi permis de laisser nos bagages apres le checkout (notre vol était tard) L appartement est très bien équipé, au delà de notre besoin (nous ne sommes restés qu une nuit) Clim et ventilo dans les 3 chambres, moustiquaire sur les 3 lits, chaque chambre a sa salle de douche et ses toilettes. Ventilo dans la pièce principale. C est spatieux L appartement est situé en zone piétonne, il faut porter ses bagages sur quelques mètres (pas beaucoup) À noter : Les taxis galèrent un peu à trouver (ce n est pas un hôtel et pas accessible jusqu'au bout en voiture) , ne pas hésiter à leur dire d appeler Romain directement qui les guidera. Romain nous attendait au pont de dépose du taxi, pour nous c était parfait.

It had a great location mere minutes walk from the centre of Stone Town and the coast. Mr Romain and Eta, who run the accommodation, were both lovely and very helpful. We would definitely recommend a stay here!

• Kim (10/5): Really enjoyed it - wish we’d had longer! - Air conditioning in the bedrooms, clean and bright, en-suites in every room was a bonus. The stairs to the living space and 3rd bedroom might be too steep for some but we managed fine.
• Hassan (6/5): Pleasant - Good Location, friendly host Stairs. Not suitable for anyone with a mobility impairment. Hosts graciously moved us to another similar apartment with all rooms on ground level
• Randall (9/5): It was very nice, clean and spacious apartment. - The apartment was spacious. From the top floor master bedroom and the sitting room there was a nice view outside over the rooftops. It was close enought to walk from many activities in Stonetown. There were security cameras outside which made it feel safe coming back late at night. The steps inside were very steep and low head clearance near the bottom. It would be nice if the sitting room also had AC (like the bedrooms did). It was just too hot to sit in the sitting room.
• Damian860402 (10/5): Zanzibar 20.01.25 - 27.01.25 - Location, space and all amenities. A wonderful man Romain who is very helpful, friendly and always available for communication. The apartment is 10/10 in a safe district, close to all attractions in Stone Town, great restaurants and shops around, Daradjani bus station and ferry terminal to Der as Salaam. Everything worked in the apartment and it was very luxurious. Steep stairs make it difficult to move freely in the apartment, but they make this place unique, so I accept them.
• Andree (10/5): Exceptional - We liked that is was close to the city center so we could easily visit it and also that was really clean and well kept. The host was really nice and greeted us even if we arrived late in the evening. Also he helped us to get a taxi to and from the airport. Every room was ok, the bed was comfortable, the air conditioner and the fan working well. I think it s a really good option for Stone Town, a good quality price ratio. I did not like that the area surrounding was a little shady but in the end we managed to walk even after dark and all was well. It was a little noisy in the morning starting from 5 am. Also the Wifi works only on the tv. We tried everything to make it work but we stayed only for 2 nights so that fact did not mattee as much.

• Marie-louise (5/5): Stone Town is a great place to visit - The location in Stonetown is great once you find your way around. Romain the onsite manager was helpful. The rooms were clean Payment was a fiasco - turned out they wanted cash, which we did not bring, and they did not want to take visa as advertised. I then spent hours sorting out a bank transfer. Booking.com showed a "total price" which actually excluded city tax so double check what you will actually pay. The fridge wasn't working when we arrived, (Saturday) and took a few days to repair. There were no maps in the apartment or pins to locate it- its up an alleyway and hard to find. The wifi was slow and only worked on the top floor and not the bedrooms on the middle floor

• Nikos (10/5): Exceptional - Romain was really helpful and attentive to everything we wanted to do. The apartment is spacious, but is a little bit tricky to find it in the first place. After you know your whereabouts in town, everything is good! Thank you for everything! Hakuna matata!

• Danuta (9/5): Great place! - Great experience overall, the appartment is huge and super well equipped. The hosts in particular were amazing and super helpful! The appartment is not easy to locate, we got lost a few times trying to find it. It can get a bit noisy at night and early morning.

House was really nice and the host was really accommodating for our arrival and checkout times. Beds weren’t the comfiest but they were fine for a couple of nights

Property manager Romain was very accommodating and attentive! We appreciated all his help arranging cab rides, etc at good rates
• Yiming (10/5): Enjoyable - Lovely apartment. The location is at the center of the stone town with easy access to everywhere. We are a group of three friends who really enjoyed the spatial space and kitchen facilities, as well as our privacy with three en-suite rooms. The host has been very warm and helpful. Highly recommend! Maybe a little noisy but that’s probably the case for all stays in stone town. We personally have been sleeping well.

• Johnathan (9/5): Great place to stay for exploring Stone Town - Our hosts Eta and Romain were exceptionally responsive to our needs. The location was excellent and the apartment was clean, had all the facilities we needed. Bed linen and towels were of a high quality. I’d definitely stay here again and no hesitation in recommending for others.
• Witherspoon (9/5): A lovely and calm place to stay in Stone Town. - The apartment is in a calm part of Stone Town, yet is walking distance to shops, restaurants and the beach. The host and his team were always reachable, friendly and ready to help. I enjoyed the complimentary tea provided and liked the apartments decor. I look forward to staying there again when next I visit.

• Jean (10/5): A good place to stay, with a good host. - Spacious and neat apartment with a nice decor located in a quiet area of Stone Town and a few minutes away from the main road, shops and restaurants. The host was very responsive and flexible. Each room has its own ensuite bathroom and toilet. The host helped me discover Stone Town and Zanzibar, which I was visiting for the 1st time and arranged for airport pick-up and drop-off. It is good value for money.
