Our cottage was very well-equiped and everything we needed was there. The bed was also very comfortable and everything was clean. We enjoyed staying there and would recommend it. Going home.

Tussen de wijnvelden staan circa 7 mooie huizen. Het is dus kleinschalig op een fantastisch wine estate met één van de mooiste zwembaden in Zuid-Afrika.

Die Unterkünfte befinden sich zurückgesetzt, ruhig gelegen im privaten Teil des Weingutes. Zentral gelegen zwischen Paarl, Franschhoek und Stellenbosch. De badkamers waren erg prettig, de bedden eveneens, namelijk lang en breed genoeg voor lange Europeanen. Het huis heeft echt onderhoud nodig. Vooral voor de deuren en hang-en sluitwerk van de deuren. Maar dat doet niets af aan de verder ontzettend fijne plek en ons heerlijke verblijf op Plaisir Wine Estate.

• Dietlinde (10/5): Ein toller Aufenthalt in wunderschöner Umgebung. - Es ist ein wunderschönes Weingut . Gale ist eine unglaublich freundliche und hilfsbereite Managerin. Da unsere Villa bei Ankunft noch nicht fertig war, bekamen wir ein kostenloses Weintasting und eine Flasche Wein gratis. Wir hatten kein Auto, aber es war kein Problem , ein Uber zu bekommen (die App muss man natürlich unbedingt haben ),und für die Rückfahrt zum Flughafen, die sehr früh war, organisierte sie zu unserer Beruhigung einen absolut zuverlässigen Transport für uns.

Schon vor unserer Anreise hatten wir aufgrund einer Verlängerung unserer ursprünglichen Buchung Kontakt mit Gale. Sie hat alles für uns arrangiert und möglich gemacht. Gale ist wirklich das Herz und die Seele dieses Hotels: Kein Wunsch blieb unerfüllt, sie war jederzeit erreichbar und unglaublich bemüht, jeden einzelnen Gast glücklich zu machen. Dabei nimmt sie sich auch Zeit für persönliche Gespräche und begegnet einem mit einer Herzlichkeit, die absolut authentisch ist – man merkt sofort, dass ihr das Wohl der Gäste wirklich am Herzen liegt. Wir hatten ein wunderbares Haus am Ende des Grundstücks und haben uns vom ersten Moment an unglaublich wohlgefühlt. Besonders die Tasting Area ist ein Traum – wunderschön gestaltet und perfekt zum Sitzen und Verweilen. Auch die Weine sind hervorragend. Auch der Poolbereich ist wunderschön gestaltet, angenehm ruhig und bietet genügend Platz für alle Gäste – perfekt zum Entspannen. Für uns steht fest: Besser kann ein Hotelaufenthalt nicht sein. Wir können uns kaum vorstellen, dass es irgendwo noch schöner, herzlicher oder perfekter sein könnte als hier. Wir kommen ganz sicher wieder zurück! De tuin is schitterend en het zwembad is werkelijk het mooiste waar ik ooit ben geweest: met uitzicht op de bergen, heerlijk warm water en comfortabele bedjes. De kamer is ontzettend ruim en netjes en wordt dagelijks schoongemaakt. De locatie is perfect, midden tussen diverse prachtige wijnhuizen, dus ideaal om de omgeving te verkennen. Echt een onvergetelijke ervaring!

Erstklassige Weine! 😋🍷🍷🍷 Wunderschöne Unterkunft, riesig groß, es fehlt an nichts! Wir waren nun schon das zweite mal dort und wir haben uns wieder sehr wohl gefühlt! Wie Zuhause! 😃 Und all das ist nur einzig und allein der Verdienst von Gale!!! Eine unheimlich liebenswerte Person, die einem jeden Wunsch erfüllt und von den Lippen abliest. Wenn Gale nicht dort arbeiten würde, wären wir nicht ein zweites mal gekommen. Gale gibt sich unheimlich viel Mühe, die Gäste in jeglicher Hinsicht zufriedenzustellen und bringt das Bewertungsergebnis bei Booking.com immer weiter nach oben! Ohne Gale wäre diese Unterkunft bei weitem nicht so attraktiv! Es gibt auch ganz andere Mitarbeiter, die das Wohl der Gäste mit Füßen treten! Das war die Dame, die mit uns die Weinprobe machte, eine sehr unangenehme Person! ☹️ (Ich weiß leider den Namen nicht mehr.) Aber Gale hat alles wieder gut gemacht! 😃 Wenn Gale nicht gewesen wäre, wären wir nie wieder gekommen! Nun bin ich ganz sicher, dass wir in den nächsten zwei oder drei Jahren wieder kommen werden! 😃

We enjoyed the wine tasting and lunch options from the restaurant. The pool was incredible with great views of the mountain. It was nice to have a bathroom for each room. Overall, it was a great place to stay for a group. Some things were not working well when we arrived - one of the cottages' gate keys, one of the bedroom doors didn't close. Because the properties are old, windows and doors don't seal properly, and insects and rodents can enter the cottage, which could be something to improve on. However, staff were prompt and helpful at sorting out any problems we had.

• Amanda (10/5): I would recommend everyone to come here - I hardly know where to begin — this place is absolutely stunning. The food is wonderful, the accommodation is fantastic, and the service is truly excellent. The property is located in a peaceful setting, just a few minutes’ walk from the wine tasting, and it also has a beautiful pool. I would recommend everyone to come here. The hostess, Gale, makes the stay even more special — she has an amazing energy and a genuine service mindset. For example, she went out of her way to help when my husband became ill and needed to go to the hospital. The only thing I regret is that we didn’t stay longer :)
• Natalie (7/5): A lovely, calm and serene environment — we enjoyed our stay immensely. - We received a very warm and friendly welcome from Gale. The beds were incredibly comfortable — honestly some of the best sleep we’ve had! We also loved the coffee machine and used it often. The swimming pool was another highlight, beautifully positioned behind the units and a lovely spot for guests to relax. The only areas we felt could use a little attention were the bedroom throws, pillows and cushions with wear and tear, could be replaced or fixed, the sticking bin drawer, and a few cobwebs that could be cleaned. A good walk through to address these small items would make this perfect.

The rooms, the views, the amazing location of the pool (which had the perfect temperature for long swims)..... the fresh crisp linen, complimentary bottle of wine, the gardens. Just book it - you will not be sorry.

Sehr ruhige Lage , ein kurzer Fußweg zur Wein Estate mit der Möglichkeit auch etwas zu essen runden das Bild positiv ab . Im Anschluß eine tolle Weinprobe mit Gale im wunderschönem Ambiente. • In der Welt daheim (10/5): Sehr schönes Weingut mit tollem Tastingbereich und mit Gale, die fürs "Zuhause"-Gefühl sorgt - Das Weingut liegt in einer wunderschönen Gegend und wird von der Weintram angefahren. Wir waren einmal auch mit Uber unterwegs - klappt! Die kleinen Häuser im kap-holländischen Stil sind mit allem ausgestattet(auch mit Grill) und verteilen sich auf dem Gelände. Der kleine,aber feine Poolbereich ist gleich nebenan und lädt zum Entspannen ein. Der Tatsingbereich ist nur einen kurzen Fussweg entfernt, der Weg führt an den Rebstöcken vorbei. Überall umgeben einen die Berge, die besonders schön im Abendlich leuchten. Das Herz des Ganzen aber ist Gale: Ein Energiebündel, das Buchungen bearbeitet, Gäste mit einer Umarmung empfängt, alle Problemchen löst und im Tastinggarten dafür sorgt, dass bei der Probe die feinsten Weine (kostenlos) ins Glas kommen. Gale gibt den Gästen das Gefühl, zur Familie zur gehören. Sie ist wunderbar! Was soll man hier schreiben? Einzig, dass sie Zeitzu kurz ist, die man an diesem schönen Ort hat...

Staff is ultra attentive and professional; special thanks to Marc who hosted us, and Innocent who assisted us with a wonderful wine tasting. Видно, что человек любит свою работу! Сама локация потрясающей красоты: глициния благоухает, виноградники растут, горы освещаются солнцем. В общем это одно из лучших пребываний где-либо и когда-либо! Очень удобно, красиво и атмосферно. Даже камин есть! Спасибо огромнейшее! Что мы оттуда уехали)
• Peter-John Timothy (10/5): Fan-tas-tisch - Het hartelijke ontvangst door Gale, met een rondleiding door het verblijf. Het verblijf was echt onwerkelijk, zo mooi! Het uitzicht was prachtig met bergen en wijnvelden. Alles was onwijs schoon, werkte goed en was van alle gemakken voorzien; zelfs het kraanwater was goed te drinken. Het zwembad lag achter het huis en was goed onderhouden. We hebben ook zelfs een massage aan huis geboekt. Het verblijf werd iedere dag door de schoonmaakster weer schoongemaakt en opgeruimd. De service bij de wine-tasting was ook fantastisch, super behulpzaam en verwelkomend. Het terrein was goed beveiligd, wat zorgde voor een veilig gevoel. Niks. Alles was perfect.

• Jona (10/5): Wonderful stay at Plaisir - Gale was a wonderful host. She accommodated us for the late check-in. She made us feel special and was very responsive everytime we had questions. Plaisir is a beautiful wine estate; we did the wine tasting, visited it with the wine tram, walked their trails and overall had an amazing time. The room doesn't have any views, but the pool with outstanding views is a few minutes walk away. Thank you Gale, for your hospitality!
• Els (10/5): Absolute stijlvolle acxommodatie op toplocatie - Prachtig stijlvol huis op enorm mooi wijndomein, zwembad, tuin, terras, optie om wijn te proeven en ontbijten of lunchen in een fenomenale omgeving. Hier en daar vocht in de badkamers, geluid van andere gasten die boven ons sliepen.

• Rod (8/5): Outstanding wine farm, with super attentive and engaging hosts - Location is excellent, on a wine farm that produces outstanding wines. The views are spectacular The only criticism is that the bedrooms don’t offer king size beds that one would expect in an establishment such as this
• Sonia (10/5): A peaceful couple of days surrounded by beautiful nature - Great location to explore the winelands. The cottage was completely private and well equipped with coffee and tea. We brought food in or ate at the wine tasting room which had light meals and was beautiful to visit. Gale was so welcoming and sweet to us. There is also a super pool with loungers which was great for my grandaughter. Nothing in particular.
• Robyn (10/5): AMAZING - We loved that the accommodation was spacious and fulfilled in all of our needs with your own little kitchen area, living room with smart tv, spacious bedroom and large bathroom including a walk in shower and bath tub! From the living room / kitchen area you open double doors so you have the indoor outdoor living space with your nice secluded garden with braai stand. All staff was super accommodating and the wine estate itself was amazing! It was quite cold at night so you really needed the fire place to keep warm.

• Alexandra (10/5): - Das Weingut ist sowas von wunderschön, gepflegt und fantastisch .... eines unserer Top Favoriten. Natürlich auch die Weine. Zum Wohnen ein Traum. Wir hatten zu 2 die Windmill Suite. Dort können easy 4 Personen einen wunderschönes Urlaub verbringen. Es ist alles da... einfach alles inkl. Barbecue Grillterasse, 2 Schlafzimmer, 2 Bäder. Es gibt einen Pool auf dem Grundstück. Und Gale die Hotelmanagerin haben wir in unser Herz geschlossen. Warmherzig, top organisiert und einfach amazing. Thank you Gale and the whole Team. ♡ Es gibt absolut nichts.
