• Giulia (10/5): Un soggiorno di pace e bellezza, in un luogo incantevole e in una casa molto accogliente - Panorama incantevole, grande cura nell’arredo, nelle forniture interne, una ristrutturazione di un casale di campagna effettuata con estremo gusto . Viaggiavamo in moto e anche se c’è un piccolo sterrato per arrivare non abbiamo avuto problemi. Parcheggio comodissimo. La perla… il grande camino. Tutto bellissimo. Nulla. L’assenza del bidet è l’unica cosa da segnalare, ma il bagno è comunque spazioso e comodissimo.
• Bente (10/5): This is a perfect countryside house with all of the amenities, a beautifully recently renovated residenc and the trails - Incredible view in an immaculately renovated country house. It had everything we needed for cooking and enjoying the countryside. Beds were comfortable and all the furnishings were perfect. I can’t think of anything that I would improve.
• Dora (10/5): The perfect getaway - The house is beautifully renovated. The moment you step inside you feel at home. It is cosy, clean and has a wonderful view. Sitting in the garden or on the balcony is very peaceful. The host was very helpful and had tons of tips where to go, what restaurants to try or what walks to take. This is a place where you can recharge without even trying 🙂 The gravel road heading up to the house was a bit challenging at times.
• Jerome (10/5): A gorgeous get away in the Umbrian hills. - A gorgeous get away in the Umbrian hills. This is a great place for couples or small families. It would make a great writer's retreat. Matt and Nicolette (the hosts) were super helpful and full of great tips from restuarants to hikes. They really helped us get the most out of our stay. The house itself is quiet and private, set down a small track and short drive from the nearest towns. Inside is smart and stylish with breathtaking views of countryside best enjoyed from the balcony. I wish we could have stayed longer, and we will definitely be coming back.
• Gemma (10/5): Simply superb - Superb property - beautifully furnished in a great location. Loved the walks around the house, the peace and quiet of the area and the proximity to Todi - stunning medieval gem. Wish we could have stayed for longer! Will definitely be coming back.
• Jonathan (10/5): Beatifully renovated, well-appointed famhouse surrounded by spectacular Umbrian scenery. - We’ve been coming to Italy every year for the last twenty years, but this was unlike any other self-catering place we’ve stayed. Casale Amerina is a beautifully renovated farmhouse overlooking some truly spectacular Umbrian scenery. Everything was immaculately clean. The beds have great pillows and linen. The bathroom is particularly impressive, with generous fluffy towels. The kitchen is kitted out with quality equipment that takes the stress out of cooking in an unfamiliar kitchen. Thoughtfully, fresh fruit, olive oil and local wine had been left for us. It felt more like staying in a much-loved family home rather than just another holiday let. Communication with Matt was excellent. He was highly responsive and his instructions for finding the house and letting ourselves in could not have been clearer. We particularly valued his recommendations for countryside walks. Also greatly appreciated were his tips for off-the-beaten-track restaurants. The whole family loved it and we will certainly come back. Nothing - faultless.
