Guest Reviews

- Emily (9/5): Comfortable and spacious stay. - Spacious, light and clean apartment, well equipped and well presented. Great communication from Simon, who was able to give us an earlier check in. Easy to find location. We appreciated the pint of milk in the fridge! I needed slippers for the tiled floor in the bathroom and kitchen!
- Jon (9/5): A pleasant, dog friendly and well equipped apartment in a lovely Nottinghamshire village. - Lovely apartment and just what we needed for a few days, which was dog friendly and close to the Park Hospital. A lovely enclosed courtyard garden and the apartment had everything we needed for a comfortable and pleasant stay. The kitchen had everything we needed and a great coffee machine. Easy access to the property via key code. Please see note below for exiting the property.
There’s also beautiful open fields which can be accessed via a gate behind the village hall, so glad to have found this peaceful place for pleasant dog walks. Two village pubs within walking distance which, sadly we did not get to sample. The neighbours at the property were very polite and friendly. Great communication from the owner too. Just a little feedback for the owner of the property. The lock on the front door needs attention. The key turns easily in the lock to enter the property but when locked from the inside the lock doesn’t turn. We had a moment of panic trying to exit on our first morning and thought we were locked in, it was only by trying several times and pushing the key slightly to the right with a spare finger that the door unlocked. We didn’t need this panic as we were up early for a hospital appointment so just a bit of feedback for the owner to look at.

- Susan (10/5): Would not hesitate to return. - The property was spotlessly clean, very comfortable and had everything we needed including coffee maker and dishwasher. The bed was very comfortable and we felt totally relaxed throughout our stay. Nothing
- Krystian (10/5): Cosy dog-friendly get away that feels like home - The property is really cosy and feels like home. Really nice kitchen for you to cook in whatever you like as the choice of appliances and cutlery is incredible! There is a real home like feeling in the living room when you relax on the sofa! The bathroom is lovely and a lot of towels are provided including body wash. The bed is extremely cosy and comfortable with a lot of wardrobe and draw space for your belongings. Fantastic stay. We stayed with our 2 dogs and they have plenty of room to walk around and they loved being in the front garden! This truly is a dog friendly accommodation! Nothing, everything was great as always! We stayed here 3 times now and it’s always fantastic!

- Helen (9/5): - The quietness of the location and the apartment was very clean and well equipped. The mattress was a little to soft for our liking.
- Gillian (10/5): Lovely accommodation - Great location with very friendly neighbours. Very comfortable and quiet. Had everything needed for a pleasant stay.
- Alan (10/5): Very comfortable, well equipped and lovely location. - Located within an attractive village with good facilities. We have a dog and the property and location were ideal. Nothing.

- Jenny (10/5): What a fantastic place with great host - Clean , very thoughtful touches . Excellent friendly host . Highly recommend this place Outside lighting would have been good as it was later when we checked in and was hard to navigate around the path /lock
- julie (7/5): Lovely location in a quiet mess with and excellent pub around the corner. Very clean - The location and the cleanliness. The plug didn’t seem to work in the bath and I wanted a bath. We couldn’t get it to work but not sure if I was doing something wrong. The sofa bed wasn’t very comfortable for my daughter.
- Julie (8/5): Great stay with good location - Location was great, house was really nice with good facilities
- Paul (10/5): Fantastic Stay in this Pristine Accommodation - The accommodation was spotlessly clean, well equipped with everything we required and was convenient for our requirements.
Thankyou Simon for making our stay memorable Nothing.. apart from the weather as we could have sat out in the beautiful little garden for a while
- Steve (7/5): Was only an overnight stop, however did exactly what we needed with a pub around the corner for a hot meal. - Easy to find in a quiet area
- suzannah (7/5): Pretty mews cottage little garden lacks privacy - Pretty period place good sized kitchen and bedroom nice outside chairs and cushions Not much privacy looking straight into next garden and limited evening sun
Backed onto road -sitting room
Bedroom was the otherside so less car noise

- SophieLScott (8/5): Lovely apartment for a short stay - Clear communication from the host in advance about where to park and how to find the key. The apartment was very comfortable and well-equipped. The small garden was a bonus. Lovely village location and great conversion of an old property into very nice apartments. When we arrived there was some noise from the pub next door but the double-glazing was very effective so we could barely hear it from inside. We were staying during very hot weather so would have preferred a summer duvet to the 10.5 tog one provided. Also there were no fans in the apartment, and due to live music from the pub next door it wasn't always desirable to have the windows open.
If we had stayed in cooler weather I don't think we would have found any fault with the place!
- Stephen (10/5): Quite little property in a lovely village. Excellent host would definitely recommend - Clean quaint with everything we needed and more
- Tom (10/5): Lovely place. Very accommodating hosts -

- Pauline (10/5): One night heading north - Very well stocked every thing you need and more.
A beautifully clean apartment
Good size bathroom comfortable bed and fully equipped kitchen excellent. Very clean and garden with garden furniture to enjoy the sun
- Carolyn (10/5): Perfect - Beautiful and clean - wish we could have stayed longer Only thing that could have improved our stay would have been some milk so we could have made a coffee - even long life pods as we were literally staying overnight didnt think to bring some
- Liam (10/5): Lovely quiet place, bigger than you think. Beds are super comfy - The location was perfect, really quiet, beds were really comfy (I was meant to look what make the mattress and pillows were before we left they were that good!) the place even smelled lovely with the reed diffusers. Would recommend to anyone. Bonus was the lovely pub right around the corner! Only thing we ever said was a number on the garage so we knew where to park abit easier but that’s more my fault for not reading the confirmation email before we got there 🤷🏻
- Dawn (10/5): A lovely place to stop. - Very well equipped. Bed a little too soft for us.
- Susan (10/5): Exceptional - Only the fact that we could not have stayed longer to enjoy the property even more ;)

- Iain (9/5): Superb - great little place bed a bit soft , could do with a new mattress
- Ian (10/5): Attended a 70th party at a local golf club so the location suited us very well. It exceeded everything we thought it wou - Superbly maintained, very clean with every amenity you would need.
The bed was one of the most comfortable beds I have ever slept in, with very plush linen.
We loved everything, just wished it had been summer so we could sit out in the small garden! Nothing, it was all great!

- John (10/5): Excellent accommodation and beautiful location - Lovely set up, very clean, good facilities, very helpful host, detailed instructions
- Karen (10/5): Really comfortable - Very clean and lovely throughout. Host thoughtfully left some milk, tea bags, butter and biscuits and hot chocolate. Everything really easy to use and well laid out. Lovely blankets on the sofa for that extra comfort watching TV at the end of the day. Wi-Fi was great. I didn’t see any notes about the heating, so assumed it went off on a timer. I woke up at 2am to a very warm house and had to turn the heating down.
