• Angelica (9/5): - Mayur Homestay was a wonderful place for my five-day stay in Sari Village. The location is perfect: it’s very close to the beautiful Deoria Tal and only a short drive from Chopta, the starting point for the trek to Tungnath Temple and Chandrashila. It’s an excellent base if you’re planning hikes and nature trips in the area. The owner was extremely kind and helpful, always ready to recommend places to visit and things to do. His hospitality made the stay feel warm and personal. The room was comfortable, clean, and the bed was very good, which is especially important after long trekking days. The food was simple but delicious and felt very home-cooked and authentic. Overall, this homestay offers great value, a peaceful atmosphere, and genuine hospitality. I would definitely stay here again. Everything was great

His local knowledge was invaluable, and his kindness made us feel right at home. The food he prepared was absolutely amazing — fresh, homely, and exactly what we needed after our long treks. Every meal felt like it was cooked with care. But what truly stood out was his warmth. Always smiling, always helpful, and treating us like his own — Deewan ji is the kind of host who turns a trip into a beautiful memory. If you're planning a visit to Tungnath or Chopta, staying at his place isn’t just a stay — it's an experience. Highly recommended! The view was too beautiful — now our phone wallpapers feel sad. Deewan ji’s food was too good — came back with memories and weight gain. He set the hospitality bar so high, now every other host feels like a disappointment. We didn’t want to leave… seriously, we considered hiding and extending our stay. The mountains were peaceful, but now city life feels personally offensive.
