• Heine (7/5): Very nice centrally located accommodation... But remember your earplugs - Noise from adjacent establishments. The windows sealed poorly and therefor could not block out the noise.

• Muhammed (10/5): Cute apartment in convenient location - Well equipped apartment, has everything you need. Well equipped kitchen and just across from Spar for groceries and Plato for morning coffee. Comfortable bed and clean bathroom (no window but it has an extractor). Good location in the middle of Paarl so not too far to drive for the mall or other restaurants. The road itself can also get surprisingly busy for what I'd expect for Paarl. The aircon is on a meter which is fine but I'd have liked an indicator of how much would be a good amount to load. The marking on the building was arresting at first since it looked like graffiti. It is just markings for builders but it's surprising when you arrive.

• Karen (9/5): Paarl Rocks - We wanted to check in early, the communication was outstanding! We managed to collect keys early, very friendly reception. The little thoughtful things left around apartment are really great, milk for coffee, cookies, little snacks, a small choccie... A great little apartment with everything one may need. Air-conditioning in the lounge area is great! Very comfortable bed and pillows. The room gets a bit warm at night, could do with a little fan. A bit noisy at night, I imagine especially at weekends as there is a bar/restaurant on the opposite corner.

Annatjie and Hugh thank you for our lovely welcome and friendly goodbye. nothing in particular. I myself just could not find matches or a lighter for the candles. but that was no train smash

• Neil (10/5): It was a very comfortable stay and I would recommend it to anyone. - Very clean and neat. Beautiful furnishings and decor. Very comfortable and has everything one needs for a very lovely stay. Situated across a busy road and opposite a restaurant/pub which is a bit noisy.

• Vanessa (7/5): Overpriced. Blocked shower - spacious and neat apartment The shower was blocked. The fact that there was a large amount of taxes. I was deceived in that I thought I booked a cheap place (in a block of flats) because it was just to sleep before as long road. I have stayed in 12 guesthouses in Paarl this year and no one charged separately for taxes which the owner called a cleaning fee when I called her. There are many lovely guesthouses in Paarl.
