Paul (9/5): Wonderful location and garden. - Ideal location in a relatively quiet street. The garden is a nature lover's paradise, lush and serene. The owner was very welcoming and pleasant. The breakfast was lovely.

Pax (3/5): We all wish to write a review as individuals as we were all disappointed. - The only thing that we liked and enjoyed was the spacious yard with freshly cut grass. The place is very close to the town and we didn't have to drive far for work. Our stay at the place was disappointing for several reasons. Firstly, the overall condition of the place was poor, with a dilapidated appearance and a room that could not lock, leaving us feeling unsafe and uncomfortable. The cleanliness standards were severely lacking, as evidenced by dirty sheets, fleece throw blankets, and even rat droppings on one colleague's bed. The quality of sleep was also compromised by old, squeaky beds and ineffective heating from the air conditioning, which was particularly problematic in the cold environment. The breakfast served was subpar, with dry and unappetizing options, including an omelette that was merely cheese with no variety. We had requested for the breakfast to be packaged for us to be collected later and it was very disappointing and with all the dryness they could not even provide us with juice that time we paid R150 per person. Furthermore, the shift in attitude from the owner, especially the unwelcoming demeanour upon our return, added to our negative experience. The pressure to check out early the next day due to upcoming guests, coupled with the unpleasant interaction, left a sour taste in our mouths. Overall, our stay was marred by cleanliness issues, uncomfortable sleeping conditions, unappetizing food, and unwelcoming service. We were eager to leave and would not recommend this place to others.
