Guest Reviews
- David (9/5): charming and cozy stay! - Cottagette has a rustic, lovely charm. The host was informative, and provided tips on the hikes near the property itself. It is a cozy, comfy place to spend the night in. The cottagette has lovely decorative antique item displays in the apartment, including on kitchen walls. They have a functioning fridge and sufficient kitchen utensils. One small problem we faced was that a couple of stove burners were not functioning. We also got good hot water in the shower during our stay. Over all, we loved the place. Stove burners
- Daniela (6/5): It was like stepping back in time to a century ago to a cabin that needs to be restored. - The silence of the location. The parking was just outside the door. Comfortable bed on the small size. Unreliable WIFI. Unkept grounds around the property. Lack of shades on the windows. Stained curtains. Faucets sprayed water of a white color. Stove difficult to light; matches had to be used and causing high flames.
- Alexander (9/5): Staying in Cottagette was a complete switch off from our everyday routine. - The cabin was great at every angle for us. It was so much nostalgic reminding about the shabby small country houses back in my home country of USSR, now Russia. The cabin is a bit shabby and small but it is cozy, clean and it has everything we needed. We made our own breakfast through the whole stay and dinner for three out of five nights there. It is embedded in a forest. As a good surprise we discovered a small collection of interesting and old classic books. Farmers markets around are of plenty with unexpectedly ripe fruits including tomatoes. The local wines we tried were not good at all.
- James (9/5): Did not have a lot of time to spend there and enjoy the surroundings - Away from everyone and work It was fine
- Prateeksha (10/5): Exceptional -
- Patrick (10/5): Great little getaway in the Finger Lakes - Private individual cottage tucked into the woods with nice walking trails leading to an almost private gorge where small waterfalls and pools of water are plentiful.
Although being private, still within a few feet of many different wineries, breweries and a distillery. No need to travel very far. Also, plenty of places to eat.
In addition, my wife forgot a favorite headband on checkout. The owner, Jeremy, was nice enough to let us know and then send back at his expense. Nothing
- Soumyaranjan (9/5): Good place with good vibe. - Nice clean place. It’s pretty small so not much room to move around but very cozy place. A lot of bugs at the entrance especially in night. Some of them sneaked into our room as soon as the door was opened 😃!
