• Lorraine (10/5): We just had our third stay here! - Rosebank Lodge is so spacious and well laid out. It has everything that you could possibly need for your stay and it is so well located with several pubs, shops and takeaways just within a few minutes walk. We find it a great base for walking and its so easy to get to the yorkshire 3 peaks from this location. We couldn't fault it at all.

• Rachael (10/5): Fantastic place for a getaway - This place is so spacious. We had a family trip away with Grannie and her dog, and my son loved every minute of it. Shops are within walking distance and a train station round the corner. Doors a little squeaky but we got used to it

Whilst the attic room windows shouldn't be covered because of the beautiful views and stargazing, curtains or a blind would've been nice so the light didn't wake us too early 😃🌞

• Tomaštíková (10/5): Naprosto úžasné místo a skvělý dům - Nádherný a útulný dům v krásném městečku. Vše jak z pohádky, skvělá atmosféra celého místa. Jelikož v domech nejsme zvyklí chodit obutí, tak čistější podlahy, ale jinak není co vytknout.
• GORDON (9/5): - Location is great. Only a short walk to the high street shops. The 4 bedrooms are large with plenty of storage space. Great location for visiting attractions. Nothing is too far away. Could have done with a few more hand towels to cover the 4 bathrooms and kitchen.
• Dawn (8/5): Very good - Spacious house with 2 ground floor bedrooms which was great for our family. Good facilities and well equipped. Enough room for everyone to sit at the table and having the conservatory gave us an extra relaxing space away from the TV. The sofas were a bit low and a hand rail for the outside steps would be helpful.

• Jayne (9/5): Great property, will definitely be back! - Excellent property. Really well equipped and lovely location. Easy parking. Comfortable beds. Warm and homely! Would definitely go back, great location to explore the dales and the lakes! Generally clean, and sheets and towels were good quality. Having two bedrooms and two bathrooms downstairs was really helpful! We hope to return in warmer months to do more exploring! Conservatory has a large table and chairs, with an additional table and chairs in the kitchen so plenty of seating space. There are sofas in living room and conservatory so easy to have different areas for larger groups! Kitchen and utility are great, really well stocked, there is a small undercounter fridge in the kitchen and then a full height fridge/freezer in the utility. Lots of dinnerware and drinkware and a dishwasher!! The front steps were very slippy when the weather is wet, we travelled with my mum who struggles with steps, but all 4 of us slipped on it at some point during the week despite being super careful! No injuries, we managed to catch ourselves but just be careful as there is no handrail! There is a hole in the garden wall (the house info book does warn about this), but our dog would easily have gotten through it into next doors garden!

• Fergus (7/5): Really enjoyed stay but communication with host could have been better - Comfortable and large -liked the sun room and bathrooms in particular. A bit impersonal. The hoover was completely full and heavy to use. Shower in ground floor bedroom was fixed in a single position. No information about the burglar alarm or bin emptying days.

• Janet (10/5): Would definitely recommend both for value, size, comfort and location. - The property was excellent value for money. It was very spacious with 4 large bedrooms with comfy beds, 3 bathrooms, a guest cloakroom toilet, large lounge, kitchen and lovely conservatory leading on to the garden. The kitchen was well equipped and there was always plenty of hot water even when all 3 bathrooms were in use. Its location was excellent with only a short car journey to board the scenic Settle to Carlisle train. A local well stocked Spar and Co-op were within a 2 minute walk from the property as was an excellent Chinese takeaway.

• Emma (10/5): Lovely relaxing stay to meet up with family - Lots of space and very clean - furnishings and bedding were excellent quality, lots of small lights/lamps and a log burner made it feel very cosy as Storm Bebet passed over - there was a conservatory as well as a big lounge. Liked the fact that we had 3 bathrooms and a downstairs toilet for 8 people. Nothing could be improved ! - property exceeded our expectations - was well equipped and great location near high street, for shops and takeaways , but set back so was very peaceful. Even with 8 people staying we had lots of room to spend time together, without being on top of each other.

That's just because we have a big dog though, for a small one they would be perfectly fine
