- Stephen (9/5): Great, we would definitely stay again. - What a delightful cottage and fantastic location. Hosts were very helpful and accommodating. It is a very special cottage with amazing decor, I hope all visitors respect that. :)
Thanks also for the welcome bottle of local wine. Thank-you. An extra door key, so both doors have a key for emergency exiting.
- vicki (9/5): The cottage is so beautifully done . Sympathetic to the age in the upgrades . Thank you ☺️ for sharing your home. We tru - Loved everything about Finney Cottage . The only tiny negative would be cooling for the bedrooms .
- Lynnie (10/5): Our group needed a get away from the normal day to day routine, this was the perfect place.to relax. We also had a few - The cottage has an homely cosy feel, with exceptional eye for detail with fit out and amenities. Nothing
- Sheridan (8/5): The house was lovely and had everything you could possibly need. The kitchen was large and well stocked. It was close to - Very clean and lots of personality. Nothing
- Sher (10/5): - Lovely cottage. Beautifully appointed. Great location.
- L (9/5): Beautiful cottage in a great location - Great location! So many little thoughtful inclusions. Beautiful vintage furniture throughout
- Max Nat (10/5): A wonderful cottage experience that will give you a treat to experience. - We were welcome with a lovely local wine and treat. The house was wonderful, cosy and the outdoor areas exceeded our expectations. Had to call the host to gain access to the property. She normally sends a welcome text in Amanda but had some issues that delayed this. It wasn't hard to get the code and Street this we had a great time.
- Tabitha (10/5): Gorgeous place to stay - It was in the perfect spot - close to everything. Was immaculately cleaned, the beds were comfortable and had everything (plus more) than we would ever need.
Would definitely stay again
- Judith Anne (10/5): - Very well set up- all the comforts of home. Probably a 2 bedroom establishment rather than 3.
- Catherine (10/5): - I've not stayed in a Queenslander before. I loved the wood, the paintwork and colours, and the sun room. The kitchen was pretty good too. Beds were very comfy with plenty of layers - essential for someone like me used to Darwin weather. The wood stove worked well. Just loved the whole experience.
- Deborah (9/5): Loved the decor. Very comfortable stay. - Clean and very comfortable. Close to Main Street. Beautifully decorated. Bathrooms were very cold.
- andy (10/5): -
- Heather (10/5): - 2nd stay at Finney we absolutely love this beautiful gem..... so warm cosy and comfy.
- Marilyn (10/5): Wonderful - Mostly everything, was very well equipped That you had to go through someone’s bedroom to use one of bathrooms and enter 3rd bedroom
- Leanne (9/5): - We had a wonderful stay at this beautiful cottage in Stanthorpe and couldn’t recommend it more highly. The cottage is warm and cosy, with lovely fireplaces, oil heaters, and split systems ensuring we stayed toasty on chilly nights.
The home itself is absolutely charming – beautifully decorated, clean. The beds were super comfortable, and the bathrooms were spotless and well-appointed. The kitchen is gorgeous and had everything we needed during our stay.
We especially loved the outdoor alfresco area – a perfect spot to relax and enjoy the surroundings. The complimentary bottle of wine and Mersey Valley cheese and crackers were such a generous and delightful surprise!
This place truly exceeded our expectations and made our time in Stanthorpe even more special. We would love to return and would highly recommend it to anyone looking for a relaxing, comfortable, and beautifully presented getaway. Could have been heaters in the bathrooms to make things a little more comfortable in winter.
- Patrick (9/5): Superb -
- Carolyn (5/5): Passable - Location. A most disappointing stay at this property & will never stay again reasons being I was so overcharged for the so called third bedroom meaning you have to walk through another's guest bedroom to get to it that is a sitting room not a third bedroom which I was charged full priced for as a third bedroom
That house is advertised on Bookings.com as a three bedroom cottage which means it should sleep six people so why when I requested for three guests only not five or six our quoted price for two nights jumped from $860 something close to that then jumped to
.$1246 I have been the loyalist customer to Bookings .com for as many years as I can remember but this booking I have been extremely overcharged this is false advertising for this cottage it definitely is not a three bedroom home it's two bedrooms & a sitting room you would have frozen trying to sleep in that room in winter in Stanthorpe it had a three column plug in heater as which was only heating in the two other bedrooms as well no air-conditioning only in living rooms we had to borrow from a local friend a blow up mattress & place in the living room we had no other choice but we had paid $420 for that room for two nights
Plus very unusual for a microwave to be just outside the main bathroom not in the kitchen ??
Ensuite bedroom bed springs could be felt on moving
We had the pleasure of only a month prior through bookings.com staying at Savina Cottage for less money & could not fault it unbelievably cleverly designed comfort it was unfortunately booked out for my dates requested
I would definitely appreciate some form of credit for this terrible disappointing overpriced accommodation

- Sharon (10/5): A very comfortable well presented property with little extras that made our weekend even more enjoyable. - Comfortable walk to town centre and easy access to all the surrounding sights.
Check in and check out was an easy process.
The complimentary red wine and cheese on arrival was a lovely surprise.
The facilities and all the extra little touches made it a home away from home. Washpool hair & body wash & soap products. The well set up kitchen with complimentary kitchen condiments, cutlery & crockery etc.
With 2 couples the second bathroom was great.
Beds & pillows were very comfortable.
Fireplace was lovely as it was chilly.
The outdoor BBQ, fire pit and sitting area is great although weather was a bit rainy on and off this visit. The car was safe behind gates out the back, easy turn around even with a bigger car. Nothing.
However if we could make a wish it would be for a larger bath towel. ☺️

- Joanne (10/5): Charm and Comfort - Finney cottage was a brilliant place to stay. It is a short walk to the main shopping area and eateries, although the kitchen is well equipped for cooking "at home". It felt like stepping back in time, but with all of the mod-cons necessary to make our stay cosy and comfortable. I highly recommend it. Thanks Lee. Leaving 😄

- Michelle (10/5): This is definitely up there with our favourite homes away from home. - Everything was absolutely superb. This is definitely up there with our favourite homes away from home. We will be recommending this place to our family and friends, and will definitely be back! Off street parking was just a little too tight for a big car (but this is nitpicking!).

- Carl (9/5): Would stay again and would recommend to friends and family. - Facilities, location and convenience was great. Kitchen had all you would need to cook and enjoy in the dining area.
plenty of room to sit around to watch tv or to read in a quiet sun room or to sit on the front deck and watch the world pass by. had a great pergola and garden in the back yard for a snack and a chat. Pity we could not use the fireplace as the weather was cool enough to do so.
The front gate was a bit annoying getting the car in and out but it did feel secure enough.
the parking could have a cover and stairs from the side to stay under cover to the front door when raining.
- Sarina (10/5): Short and enjoyable stay - Loved the style of the house and location.
It was only for two nights but it was perfect.
Will definitely recommend it to anyone on holidays in Stanthorpe. Absolutely no complaints, but it rained while we were there and a clothes dryer would have come in handy or a clothes rack, especially there were 4 of us in the house. But maybe something to consider.

The - The cottage is beautifully presented and is very well located close to the centre of town. The kitchen and bathrooms were well supplied with amenities and little extras and these were outstanding. Nothing - this is one of the best presented holiday cottages we have ever booked and we will all be back in future.

We particularly loved the little extras like the pre-stacked fireplace ready for lighting, abundance of kitchen condiments and bathroom toiletries, and of course the welcome wine!
