• Димитър (10/5): Very good atmosphere. - Amazing and very calm location in Kavala, free parking too, the place was very cozy and clean. Overall cleanness was 10/10, there were lots of towels and the bed was comfortable too. Thank you Yannis for being such a nice host and telling us about all the places we could go, you helped us a lot on our last day at Kavala. If we ever come back there , we will definitely book it again.
• Sheila (10/5): Beautifully decorated apartment with a view - This room was superbly decorated and exactly as pictured online. The view from the little porch was beautiful. Yannis greeted us at the door and was most helpful in getting us settled in. He gave us information on the surrounding area and places to eat. Like other reviewers have said, there is a steep decline (ramp) to reach the flat, so if you have mobility issues, take care. We were fine. What I liked the most about the experience was that there was wonderful attention to detail. For example, he provided 3 types of coffee (Turkish/Greek, Nescafe and filter coffee); there was a washing machine, detergent, drying rack and hamper; plastic wrap; etc. that was very helpful to us. There was a piano and he allowed my son to practice! Everything was clean. As others have mentioned, the location was away from the city center and old town Kavala, but a very quick drive away. Actually, I would prefer this neighborhood over the commercial section of downtown. It is more quaint. And the location was close to the beaches. We visited Ammolofoi Beach, which was a bit away, but there are other closer options. A friend had recommended this (and it was on Yannis' list), so we chose it. There is a grocery store just down the street too. We did experience a loss of hot water. But our time was so short that we didn't even notify Yanis. I am sure he would have dealt with it right away. The only other thing I can say is there were limited electrical outlets :)
• Ben (10/5): Would definitely stay there again! It was a perfect place for a short stay! - We had a car and the location was great. Yannis was there to give the keys, and he also presented local honey and a box of sweets. Yannis was so helpful and gave a recommendation list of food, beaches, and more. The room was very unique and stylish. A Lidl is right next door and we could drive to Kavala and beaches easily. It was our first trip to Kavala, and staying there made our trip very enjoyable. The first night we mistakenly left the bathroom window open and there were dogs barking through the night. The next night night it wasn't an issue since we closed the window and shut the door.
• Victoria (10/5): A Hidden Treasure - The apartment is very comfortable, cozy and the decoration is lovely. It’s sparkling clean and has the best owner we ever met. It is located about 5 klm from the city centre near the university of Kavala very close to the Lidl supermarket. It is close to many beaches on the West side of the city. You definitely need a car to explore the surrounding areas, the city centre and the beaches. Nothing. Everything was lovely ☺️
