Guest Reviews
- Rebecca (7/5): Good - Great central location, with easy access. Spacious main bedroom and living area Uncomfortable bed - could feel the springs. Kitchen not fully equipped
- Meg (7/5): Good -
- Tracey (6/5): Overall good and would return - Towels provided were too small for a decent shower. TV would not connect to any station and no instructions available - only slightly inconvenient as just wanted to relax one afternoon. Brilliant coffee shop nearby and pub also
- Nate (9/5): We enjoyed our stay. Thank you - Excellent location. Clean flat. A more comfortable couch and it would have been perfect.
- Nina (5/5): I expected more for the money I have paid. - Good location, close to supermarket and subway station. Very warm, the heating is good, we didn't use because it was very hot. Noise, old house and not good isolated windows. The TV didn't work, the microwave didn't work. We pay for 4, the sofa was not prepared. I call the owner, they react quickly, but not sure about the sheets on the bed they use, kinda used already with some stains.
- Farhan (10/5): Would always stay and have done the past few times I’ve visited London - Everything about this property is great. No issues at all Nothing not to like
- Anacefv (10/5): Exceptional - Perfect location, quiet neighbourhood, super comfortable and clean. Everything was great, but as an idea, I think it would be nice to have something to hang coats somewhere
- Marrisa (4/5): It was ok, too many issues so wouldn’t stay again - Nicely equipped modern kitchen. Warm apartment. Mostly comfortable throughout. Close to tube access. Where to start with this one…
Host was rude from the get go, after paying fully for stay it popped up I needed to then pay a deposit (and that would be fully taken from account not just put on hold), supply my passport full details and a separate ID. I haven’t had to do this before with any reservation I’ve made so I queried it as to why, host was rude with replies.
Building to apartment outside is quite off putting, lots of graffiti and people hanging about. Wouldn’t recommend being out too late in this area. We had difficulty getting into the building so called host, no answer and no call back or reply to texts.
Despite checking before hand due to previous feedback the TV still didn’t work. It’s all apps that you have to have an account for to use… not having a UK phone we couldn’t sign up for these accounts.
The washing machine was full of wet washing.
Bedding is thread bare.
Holes in walls throughout apartment, some lamps didn’t work, mould in bathroom.
With the lengths that we had to go to to pay for this property I was expecting a LOT more. Wouldn’t stay again.
- Andrew (7/5): Great location, great space, great shops & restaurants, good host but let down by cleanliness issues - Great location, close to the venue we were attending. Loads of restaurants & shops (a fabulous Turkish restaurant across the road & a Tesco + Asda only yards away) The bed linen stored in the sofa bed had stains on the duvet (looked like lip stick & tomato juice) plus it did not have a pleasant odour. The bathroom had a huge mold stains under the sink and down the side of the bath, we quickly cleaned as much of the mold off before our other guests could see it. General cleanliness was poor, dust on nearly all the units and four pieces of toast left on the sitting room outside window sill? Having scaffolding outside the whole building did not aid our views from any of the windows and so it was a good job none of us overindulge the night before or needed a sleep in, as on Saturday at 8.20 am workmen started to dismantle the whole lot and were quite vocal whilst working!
- Alex (9/5): Superb - The design and layout of the flat was very eye catching and comfortable. We were provided with all that we needed and it was very close to an Asda and Stepney Green Station.
- Torrey (8/5): Great place, surprisingly spacious for London, and very good value for money - Very conveniently located with lots of shops and restaurants nearby. Everything was immaculately clean and tidy. The beds were very comfortable, and the kitchen was very well equipped. When we arrived there was scaffolding right outside our window but couldn’t figure out how to lock the windows, so I felt a little unsure about leaving my things whist we were out.
- Muaaz (6/5): Pleasant -
- Laura (9/5): Veeery good - The stay was very good. The apartment was large and luminous. It has everything you need to spend a few days in the city. The tube is very close, it is very convenient for sightseeing.
The cleanliness and the heating were perfect. I would repeat if I had to come back to London. There was a construction out of the bulding and the tv has not connection to the antenna.
- Solisou (10/5): I like the fact that there’s a dryer. - It’s a great location - close to underground, cafes, restaurants and groceries.
- James (5/5): Passable - The apartment was spacious and contained a washer/dryer. Both of these aspects were very much appreciated. It was also situated quite close to the tube, which was helpful. The toilet seat was very loose and the TV did not have an antenna. The paid wifi was quite pricey and due to the location of the apartment it was very noisy.
- Farhan (10/5): Would book a stay again, as it was reasonably priced - Very clean and good location Nothing not to like
- Andy (8/5): Great location. Loved the East End. Full of character and colour. - The large Georgian windows gave plenty of light, and the bath was most welcome. The TV was not connected.
- Damon (9/5): Superb - Good two bed apartment
Good facilities
- Kiril (10/5): Exceptional - Perfect accommodation, very clean, enough space and everything necessary for daily use, even more.
The box of lovely chocolates left on the table was a really warm welcome! Always have in mind that this is London, the place is very close to the centre of the city and is noisy.
- Shanawaz (9/5): Excellent location, nice apartment , close to tube station , supermarkets and affordable restaurants in a nice location - The apartment was well maintained, cozy and had all necessary Facilites The second bedroom could only take in one single bed but then the sofa bed in living room made up for it. Also a second bathroom would have been handy for a family of 5
- Moosa (5/5): Passable -
- Neil (8/5): Very good -
- Marc (6/5): Not the best night sleep, and some other issues - Safe and secure, clean and a good location for travel and work purpose. Very affordable. The property was close to a main road. With single glazed windows this made sleeping a bit of a challenge. Lots of sirens and unsavoury chatter and shouting from outside the building until 4am.
The toilet set was broken, although not a major problem.
The second room was meant to be set up as a double, but was two singles. Although the sofa bed had been set up in the kitchen diner strangely.
What was most frustrating was the unusable WiFi and a tv that simply would not work. Apparently an engineer attended while I was out, but there was no evidence of this and the internet and TV remain a problem.
- Teresa (9/5): Superb -
- Marie (8/5): Good place to stay! Thank - The place is easy to get. The subway station 2inutes walking... Stepney Green. 20m from Piccadilly. Lot's of little shops nearby. A shop that is open until 10.30 PM. In the street The grand raisor restaurant welcomes you very kindly and the quality and price are very correct. The flat was a bit noisy by night but we are in a city. So not to bad. The disfunction of the wifi has been fixed by a very nice and professionnel man named Ibrahim. He did his best. The wifi box should be changed and the less of power specially. We were happy to come home in a well heated flat. Specially those 4 nights very cold for the season. I will probably come back with pleasure. Maybe a few little things to improve.. No light in the lamp.. The cabinet handle was broken.. But that was only little things that didn't affect our pleasure to stay in that flat.
- Heidi (10/5): Everything was perfect - Everything was perfect. Beds and pillows were comfy, lots of food places and a tube near by. Place was clean and the towels were thick
- Alessio (4/5): Not worth the price. Awful location - The apartment’s size is decent. Kitchen is new and functional. The rest is poor. The property is in a building that is old, dirty and smelly. The area where the apartment is, it is full of junkies and homeless. At night it gets very noisy because of the fights and shouts. The first night one junkies was doing crack on the building door. Last night two junkies attacked us when going back in the night. When we arrived (around 16), the apartment was not cleaned despite the check-in time was starting at 15:00. The beds in the room are uncomfortable. I don’t even mention the couch in the living room. Windows are broken. Toilette is broken.
- Barry (10/5): Exceptional -
- Stephanie (8/5): Nice property, basic but spacious - attentive agents, but noisy neighbours - Spacious and nicely laid out No hot water on day 1, and sash windows meant it was draughty in the longe and you could hear the people on the street below the master bedroom talking at all hours of the night
- William (10/5): Fantastic Facility & Awesome Staff! - Clean and updated facility. Easy check in. Very responsive and helpful renter. It was great!
- Sophie (8/5): Very good - There is quite a bit of noise from the road as the windows seem quite thin
- Tin (10/5): Exceptional - It’s really big and comfortable to stay. Good location which is close to the tube station.
- Mohammed (8/5): Excellent and great value for money - The location is excellent, management of the property were very professional. They respond to concerns in a timely manner
