• Kayla (10/5): Super great value and cute little place - Location was PERFECT! Yes it is loud but we were warned ahead of time and had absolutely no issues with it. The water pressure was great and the water got hot enough for me! Host was super nice and helpful. My only recommendation would be to maybe have a comfier mattress but it wasn’t a deal breaker and it wasn’t even that bad. Mattress could’ve been more comfy. That was truly it!

• Erin (9/5): - The location was great. Plenty of decent pubs in the vicinity. We were on the 3rd floor which was great as we couldnt really hear the pub noise downstairs. All the facilities were there, iron, hairdryer, plenty of towels and toilet rolls etc. Bathroom was clean and tidy. Bed was very comfortable. Great value for money for Galway. Highly recommend N/a

• Natasha (4/5): Disappointed and staff not responding. - Good location. The bathmat was dirty. The bathroom light turned off and started flickering after not even 2min. We contacted the host multiple times but didn't get an answer. We had to shower and use the bathroom in the dark during our entire stay.

Our socks got drenched when we took off our shoes and stood on the carpet. Contacted the host through booking.com and got no response.

• Lee (7/5): Host is friendly and helpful. The room offered is way overpriced - Location was the best selling point Way too expensive for what you get. No breakfast for the price. Room was tiny. Hard time getting sleep with the noise.
• Lawrence (7/5): Budget choice, could be better with a few improvements. Arrival experience soured us. - Budget property and you get what you pay for. A bit off the beaten path, but a reasonable walk to the night life. Not a hotel per se, it is a set of rooms above a bar with no on-sight staff. Room was tired but serviceable and reasonably clean. Bed felt hard when sat on, but was actually reasonably comfortable for sleeping. Directions to property were lacking. GPS takes you to the far end of the street where there is actually a "Woodquay Hostil" which we confused for our property. It was pouring rain when we arrived and there is no parking provided. Nearby parking is in high demand and there is no place to legally load and unload. It would have been helpful if the owner had mentioned the property was above the Tigin Bar instead of just saying they could help us if we needed them. Address on building is very hard to see. Shower was clogged and you had to shower quickly to avoid overflowing and flooding (left note for owner.)

Due to travel we arrived early and the housekeeping staff had just finished so we were able to drop our things in our room earlier than expected. An outlet on each side of the bed for charging? It wasn’t a issue really. Just a quick thought.
• Petra Éva (8/5): Kényelmes, tiszta, jó az elhelyezkedése, viszont ha valaki pihenni szeretne, nem biztos, hogy a legjobb választás a hang - Kényelmes nagy ágy, tisztaság, volt kikészítve tea és víz is. Közel van a busz és vonat állomás, központi helyen van. A szállás alatt van egy bár ahol hangos élő zene szólt mindkét este amíg ott voltunk. (amivel nem lett volna bajunk, ha ír trad zene szól) Eléggé felhallatszott a szobába.

• Ciara (4/5): Great location but very cold at night. - The location was brilliant and the room was very clean and modern. I found the room was absolutely freezing at night. During the day the heat was on but must have been turned off at night so we were extremely cold which was very disappointing considering it is winter. The heat should be priorities for being on during the night more so than the day.

• Wamelink (6/5): - De bedden lagen lekker, en de kamer was goed geïsoleerd dus het was niet koud 's avonds. Op de pagina van booking.com was het absoluut niet duidelijk dat het hotel boven een pub zit. Hierdoor was op tijd gaan slapen door de week absoluut geen optie.

• Con (2/5): Very, very disappointing. - The Location Freezing cold, noisy dirty carpets, little or no heating. The front door banging every time somebody went in or out shook the room door it was that loud. The radiator is in need of flushing out as only the bottom of it got warm and the first night the place was freezing. This was supposed to be a treat away for my wife and myself as we hadn't been away for a long time but it was a disaster and we were just glad to get home.

The photos advertised for this property do not resemble the state of the property. Bed very uncomfortable. Carpets very dirty right from the front door up the stairs and into the bedroom. Wash hand basin in bathroom not draining. Toilet seat broken. Room absolutely freezing cold. TV did not have any channels to watch and even after I tried tuning it. The owner sent a message prior to our arrival telling us that if we had any questions or queries to Whattsapp or text him on the number he provided. I messaged him twice but did not even receive any acknowledgment of having received my messages. We are frequent visitors to Galway. This is definitely the worst accommodation that we have ever stayed in.

• Shane (7/5): Good location, little rough around the edges - Great location in Galway. Lovely staff who checked us in. Right above an awesome little pub. Easy walk from the train/bus station. Little rough around the edges and can be a bit noisy when there is life music down stairs in the pub.

• Zoe (5/5): - The size of the room was great for a bed and breakfast and the closeness to the city center, restaurants and the train station. Honestly, i was disappointed. We knew that this was a bed and breakfast but there were definite updates that need to be done to the property. Windows in the bathroom were very old and there was a cracked tile in the bathroom with a black bag sticking out. We were also going to use the kettle for coffee/tea but stopped when there was still water left and black slime stuck to the side and bottom.
