- Paul (9/5): Nice place. Would go back. - All was good. Nice gesture with milk and tea and coffee etc. Clean and tidy. Hot tub nice. Would go back.
- Sarah (7/5): Enjoyable, good location and loved the hot tub. - Well equipped, it had what we needed. The mattresses were uncomfortable.
- Malcolm (7/5): - Nice area to relax. While the lack of wifi was good in some aspects, the TV did not work properly for anything above terrestrial meaning the evenings could be boring as the main bar area was always busy. Could not use the swimming pool either.
- Claire A.M (9/5): - Everything! The lodge was lovely and so was the site. Good location, bus stop nearby. Close enough to town. Staff were very friendly, welcoming and helpful. Bad wifi. There was community WiFi for the site, but this was intermittent. No wi-fi for the TV and no option to pay extra for wifi.
- Jon (10/5): An excellent stay and will be looking to return! - An excellent location within the park. Very quite, yet close to all the essentials. A very well equipped facility, with everything you need in the kitchen. Plenty of parking and a lovely hot tub to relax in on an evening. Host was very professional, polite and prompt in answering any queries. A fab long weekend away! Not a dislike, but the property would benefit from a vacuum cleaner to use after a day walking in the Lake District.
