• Katharine (10/5): I had a lovely stay! - It was clean and comfortable, it was in a great location, lovely common over the road and the downs a 20 minute walk away. Also a short walk from the canal and town centre. And dog friendly! The pictures don’t do it justice

• Ian (9/5): Ideal for two or three nights - Very pleasant holiday cottage, everything you need, comfortable size for one or two people. Good simple heating. Private off road parking with car right by entrance door Didn't like the climb up hill after stroll into town. Narrowness of gateway into drive.
• Steve (10/5): A great, pet friendly place to stay. - It was very clean and comfortable and had everything that you wanted. The kitchen and bathroom were good. The bed was comfy and it was nice and quiet at night. There is off-road driveway parking right outside the property so your car felt secure and it made it easy for unloading and loading. It is in a good location for getting to other places. I was attending an event at Stoke-on-Trent which is about twenty minutes drive away. There is nice countryside and walks nearby. The accommodation is pet friendly. I found it to be a great place to stay and have already booked it again for my next trip for attending an event in Stafford. Highly recommend.

• Gary (5/5): Slightly disappointing and cannot see how it gets a 9 on booking.com - Location The shower was not particularly clean and there was an infestation of wood lice in the living space, I swept around a dozen away and we were only in the accommodation less than 18 hours. Only blinds to all windows which afforded no black out, I probably not a problem out of summer. We were also disappointed that there was no shower gel provided, there was just an old (clearly used as it was cracked) bar of soap - not what we expected for accommodation costing £91 for the night.
• Myra (7/5): Nice place for a short stay, well equipped and clean, friendly owner. - It’s compact but well set up for the basics, very clean, and included a washing machine, which we really appreciated. Good location, easy walk to town centre, and right opposite the common, which was fabulous for walking. The bed was small (standard double), and the sheets did not fully cover the mattress.

• Beverly (10/5): A lovely place for an overnight or longer stay. . - Very nice self contained accommodation with off road parking. Good facilities and kitchen for self catering. Friendly, helpful owner nearby. I stayed overnight before meeting friends at Trentham Gardens the next day which is only a short drive away.

• Ann (9/5): It was a comfortable cottage in a lovely quiet location which I would recommend. - The owner of the property came out to greet me as I arrived so there was no waiting and showed me around the property making sure I was happy with everything. She was very friendly and lovely helping me make sure I could give my dogs some freedom on the property.
