- Iris (10/5): - Das Essenza Relais Contemporaneo ist eine wundervolle Unterkunft. Das Hotel mit nur wenigen Zimmern wird liebevoll geführt. Die Anlage ist wunderschön und äußert gepflegt. Die Sauberkeit in allen Bereich ist ausgezeichnet. Die Größe und Ausstattung der Zimmer ist sehr gut. Das Frühstück wird täglich frisch zubereitet und ist äußerst umfangreich. Die Damen kümmern sich täglich mit viel Angagement um die Gäste. Die Poolanlage mit Liegen und tollem Sitzbereich ist super. Auch die Heizung im Hotel, gerade im Frühling für uns wichtig, ist sehr gut und es ist überall warm. Die Lage in der Nähe von Cisternino ist optimal um Apulien zu erkunden. Zentral und trotzdem sehr ruhig. Für uns war es hier paradiesisch!

- Stanislaw (10/5): Das war süditalienischen Gastlichkeit auf Top-Niveau - Lage zentral für unsere Apulien Entdeckung, außerordentlich gutes Frühstück, sehr moderne, absolut neuwertige Einrichtung, ein großes Bad und ein Gelände mit Swimmingpool in tip top Zustand. Vom Empfang bis zum Abschied hatten wir das Gefühl unter Freunden zu sein, aufmerksame, ja liebenswerte Mitarbeiter. Ein Lob auch für die Sauberkeit. Es gibt nicht das geringste zu bemängeln

We stayed in the trullo, which feels extra lux with the huge bathroom and hot tub. Very nice and fresh breakfast. Very close to many nice towns in Puglia.Overall highly recommend.

- Heinz-Dieter (10/5): Ein perfekter Aufenthalt - Das Essenza ist ein perfekter Ort für den Besuch der Städte Locorotondo, Alberobello, Martina Franca und Ostuni. Alles in kurzer Fahrt erreichbar. Großzügige Zimmer mit Terrasse. Moderne Architektur. Schöner Pool und Loungebereich. Rundum ein weitläufiger, bestens gepflegter Garten. Hier kann man sich wohlfühlen. Die junge Crew betreute uns herzlich und war immer zur Unterstützung bereit. Reichhaltiges Frühstück mit vielen frisch gebackenen Torten und Süsspeisen. Schade, dass kein Essen zum Abend angeboten wird. So muss man diese schöne Lokation verlassen und nach Cisternino hochfahren

- Keli (10/5): Absolute gem of a stay, just perfect! - Everything! We loved everything! This was our absolute favourite stay out of 6 hotels on our Italy trip. The staff, especially Laura, helpfully explained everything including their own personal take on nearby beaches and restaurants and were always on hand to help. It's easy to find and secure. Cisternino is about 10 min drive for restaurants and Ostuni 20mins. Don't give up on the parking in these towns, you'll eventually find a place (suggest AI to recommend where to park) it is such a perfect base for everywhere on the north side of Puglia. The rooms are amazing! Amazing! Extremely clean, bright, comfortable, contemporary and have access to the streaming channels that our daughter loved. The pool is gorgeous and the right size for families with toddlers to couples on a getaway and there is always room. Towels are given daily. The gardens are beautiful to stretch your legs and there's a cute playground for little ones too. Staff are on hand for light lunch and drinks by the pool all day, do try an amazing negroni from Laura! Breakfast is absolutely divine. If anything is made, it's home made. Great variety and eggs on request and great coffee too. Absolutely nothing, only that we couldn't stay longer!

- Kirsten (10/5): Our flight arrived late, so Sandra, the manager of the hotel, emailed us how to self-check in as the reception closes ea - We absolutely loved the view…the swimming pool…the patio with comfortable pillows and sofas. The breakfasts were excellent. The service was fabulous! The room was lovely and the garden around the property was so well maintained. We got lost when we arrived ..the GPS was a bit misleading and it was quite late at night, so not much light on the roads.

We loved being just five minutes from a charming local town, with easy access by car to other pretty towns and lovely beaches. This hotel is a real gem – peaceful, beautiful, and full of character. We can’t wait to return! Loved it all!!

- Jane (9/5): Overall would still recommend the hotel - Super breakfast, lots of choice for an Italian breakfast. Spacious rooms, very comfortable and quiet (no-one staying above us so don’t know if this would make a difference). Lovely well-maintained grounds. In April there was no dinner offered, lunch finished around 3pm. The nearest village, with lots of restaurants, is not suitable to walk to (road with no footpath), so only option is car or taxi. Pool was also closed for renovation work.

- Tracy (9/5): A perfect place to relax after a long day of sight seeing. - The staff were wonderful. They were friendly, helpful and made our stay delightful. The property was beautiful, very clean and relaxing. There are only 9 units at the resort which makes it feel very intimate and quiet. The location was very central to all the local towns and sites. There is some noise between the rooms, mostly coming from the closet door banging or chairs sliding across the floor.

It is located a short drive to a very cute town which has some good restaurants a few lovely shops. The hotel serves an outatanding breakfast of fresh fruit, freshly house made foccacia served with local cheeses. The owner is an amazing cook and arrives at 5am to make delicious cakes! Lunch by the pool as equally delicious yet simple. The hotel is small and peaceful. We stayed for 5 nights but wish we had have stayed for 10days!

The continental breakfas - The property is approximately 20 minutes drive outside of Ostuni and is located within beautiful grounds. The decor was extremely tasteful and the rooms and common areas were cleaned to a very high standard. I especially loved the walk-in wardrobe. The location is blissful! There was nothing I did not like about the property.

The architecture was right up my street. I found the communications a bit annoying and could be more professional. I stayed in different places in Apulia and I got the sense that a lot of the businesses were family run vs professionals.

- James (10/5): Short stay to meet an old friend - Lovely hotel, bright and clean cut a pity the weather was,nt a little better as it would of added to the experience. Sandra very attentive and a huge smile. Breakfast was super fresh. The weather🤣🤣

So well thought of, the finish is top quality and it's so functional Interior design is beautiful, the rooms are amazing The breakfast is out of this world, so many options and so delicious and fresh Location is great for a lot of Puglia's cute villages and you can reach anywhere with a car. Quiet area, nice views and set high up. Staff are so friendly and accommodating The pool is lovely as is the entire outdoor areas
