Robert (9/5): Nice and cozy, great to get away from hectic day to day life - Nice and cozy lodges, can definitely recommend. Wasn't totally clear that sauna and swimming pool cost extra, but whirlpool was great.
Jo (8/5): Perfect lodge with hot tub for exploring the Peak District - Perfect for our stay. Clean, comfortable, everything we needed for cooking and the hot tub which was always hot enough was ready whenever we needed it (cleaned every morning). The other lodges were not to close and we could play football, relax on the deck and have a bbq without feeling overlooked. Had to pay to use the pool and sauna.

Emma (9/5): Relaxing little breakaway - We loved everything, it was modern and clean, had everything we needed. We received texts to make sure everything was ok. It was just perfect for us and our dogs. WIFI was not the best, so unfortunately, we could not watch TV, but it was not the end of the world.

Elaine (10/5): My stay was relaxing, quiet and exactly what I was looking for - Location, position on the site, the welcome package eg. Bread cake milk and tea coffee sugar was much appreciated. Hot tub was exquisite There was nothing I didn’t like, everything for me was perfect
Chloe (1/5): Would not recommend! - Absolutely awful holiday! Would never ever return here. The people that run this have no idea how to speak to customers and all they care about is taking your money. We experienced an electric fault in our lodge on the second day of being there. One half of the electrics wouldn’t work which included the hot tub, kitchen and main bedroom. The owner came to look at the issue and said that the hot tub was tripping the electrics and that we could not use the hot tub. They refused to resolve the problem, did not offer us any solution and not once apologised for us not being about to use what we paid for. We spoke to the manger Jodie who answered the call with “I’m driving” and then proceeded to tell us to call down when we asked them to resolve the issue before hanging up the phone on us. For the rest of the stay they ignored all of our phone calls and texts and we had to stay in the lodge with faulty electrics and no use of the hot tub for the rest of our stay. The lodge it’s self was lovely and this issue could have quite easily been resolved with alternatives but it’s a shame the people running it have no care for there customers when something goes wrong. I can see from other reviews that people have had a similar experience with them. I would give this a zero rating if I could and will definitely not be returning!

Marie (5/5): Passable - The lodge itself and location was perfect, unfortunately we had difficulties with the hot water both Saturday and Sunday so had to opt for cold showers being a family of 4 is not good! I messaged the emergency number on the Saturday the maintenance guy came out and said the boiler must of stalled, that’s fine these things happen but then again on the Sunday no hot water so actually decided to leave rather than stay til the Monday very disappointing in that respect, even though I sent a message stating our dissatisfaction on the Sunday morning we did not get a response at all not great when you’ve paid decent money for a 3 night weekend!!
Lois (9/5): Lovely anniversary trip. - Lovely little space in a quiet and peaceful location. I’d recommend bringing your own towels to use as mats for the front and back door (was rainy when we went so didn’t want to tread muddy footprints). I would also recommend bringing some oven gloves if you plan on cooking.
