• Michele (10/5): Formidable - L’immeuble est d’une construction récente, très propre. La Chambre était trés confortable, assez grande , super propre , ainsi que la salle de bain draps et seviettes. La propriétaire et extremenet gentile, chaleureuse et sur tout seviable. Elle a organisé notre sortie au Kawah Ijen et etait là au moment du départ pour s’assurer que tout allait comme prévu, elle nous a aussi fait venir le scooter de location au Homestay, bref elle s’est occupé de tout pour nous. Le quartier est adorable, proche de la population et proche des restaurants café … Je recommander vivement
• Nikita (8/5): Great host, spacious clean rooms, strong WiFi - Indrawati the host is so lovely ☺️ she was very helpful organising a tour of Mount Ijen for us. It was amazing and the guide we had was the highlight of our whole trip! The rooms are spacious and super clean. There’s tea and coffee in a communal area and bananas left out each day for us. The WiFi is great, we found it one of the few places where we could stream Netflix well on a laptop. Unfortunately there’s no hot water for the shower but I think that’s common in the area/region anyway.
• Radomir (10/5): Perfect location and very spacious accommodation - Spacious and well maintained building with lots of potential. The ceilings are very high. There is common kitchenette downstairs, and nice sitting area on the second floor. The views from the roof are great! The host is truly amazing. She responds quickly on WhatsApp and provided extra sheets. The sink in the room is too small, and the pillows are too high.
• Lucie (9/5): - Wangi a été pltres présente pendant le séjour et nous a répondu rapidement à toutes les questions qu'on lui a posé Attention il n'y a pas d'eau chaude mais avec la chaleur se n'est pas gênant
• Alain (5/5): Assez sommaire mais bon compromis qualité / prix - Emplacement dans un quartier tranquille, un peu à l'écart du trafic. Guesthouse très spartiate (mais à priori on s'en doute en réservant), les chambres à l'étage ont une fenêtre, celles au RDC non. Pas très adapté si on souhaite passer du temps dans sa chambre Pratique pour faire une halte pour aller au Ijen (possibilité de passer par la guesthouse pour cette excursion) La propriétaire est charmante et est toujours prête à aider clim pas super efficace quelques petites fourmis à l'intérieur chambres assez petites et spartiates (mais comme dit, en général on sait à quoi on s'attend en réservant)
• Thomas (9/5): - Das Hotel liegt sehr zentral, aber trotzdem in einer ruhigen Gegend. Rund um die Unterkunft gibt es zahlreiche Restaurants. Das Zimmer war sehr sauber, aber doch relativ klein. Auch gab es leider nur zwei Steckdosen (wenn man die vom Fernseher mitzählt). Die Dusche war leider direkt neben der Toilette (ohne Duschvorhang), so daß alles naß war, wenn man geduscht hat. Die Besitzerin ist sehr nett und hilfsbereit und über Whatsapp immer erreichbar, wenn man etwas braucht.
• marie (4/5): Impossible de dormir après 4h00 du matin - L'accueil de la propriétaire, la propreté et la mise à disposition dans la pièce d'accueil de quoi se faire des boissons chaudes. La proximité du mont Ijen. Super hôtel pour ceux qui font la randonnée de nuit et qui donc n'ont pas besoin d'y dormir. BRUYANT, TRES BRUYANT. L'appel à la prière commence à 4h00 et se termine à 5h30. Il est alors complètement impossible de ne pas se réveiller. La puissance sonore est plus forte qu'un aspirateur à coté du lit. Au départ, j'ai cru à un message d'alerte par qu'il y avait une éruption volcanique. Après 5h30 tout le quartier est réveillé. Faute de fenêtre qui ferment bien, vous avez l'impression d'être dans la rue avec ses nombreux scooter et autres.
• shaun10 (9/5): Good location helpful staff - Reaching accommodation was easy. Room very clean, mattress comfortable. AC and WiFi were good. There is a small washbasin and mirror outside washroom door. On ground floor there is dining table, water dispenser, electric kettle, coffee sugar and tea bags. There were complementary delicious bananas on dining table. Must mention the friendly host Indrawati who was always ready to help. She arranged motorbike at reasonable rent. Nothing I can think of.
• Marc (9/5): Top Unterkunft - Die Unterkunft war wirklich sehr gut und wir würden sie auch wieder buchen. Vorallem wegen der Gastgeberin, welche einfach super nett war und so hilfsbereit. Sie hat uns nicht nur den Trip zum Ijen komplett organisiert, sondern bei der abreise auch den Zug gebucht für die Weiterreise. Auch bei sonstigen Fragen oder Problemen hat sie schnell geantwortet und geholfen;). Das Zimmer war sauber und wir fühlten uns wohl;). In der Lobby gab es gratis Bananen, Tee, Wasser und Kaffe. Das Wasser in der Dusche war etwas kalt. Es hatte nur eine kleine Wolldecke im Bett, was für 2 Personen etwas knapp ist. (Auf anfrage hätte die Gastgeberin uns sicher eine grössere Decke organisiert;))

• ZokaZo (10/5): - Todo, la que lleva el Hotel es una pasada de maja, te ayuda en todo, te contesta rápidamente para cualquier cosa, increíble! También organiza la excursión al Monte Ijem. Lo dicho si vuelvo me quedo en casa de Wangi Gracias por todo! Nada, todo perfecto 👌
• Juan Manuel (10/5): Perfecto - Un sitio muy nuevo, limpio y cómodo para programar tu subida al Iljen y después cruzar a Bali. Super bien localizado. Zona fantástica de la ciudad donde salir a comer o cenar con un restaurante muy muy bueno a unos metros. Gestión extraordinaria por parte de los propietarios.

• Naomi (10/5): Overall such a lovely stay and would recommend anyone to stay there for the service alone. - This stay was one of the best stays we had in our 4 month backpacking trip.The lady who runs the home stay is the most amazing person ever. She helped us book transport, recommended places to eat and we booked our Ijen tour a lot cheaper then online with her. She also made us pancakes one morning and left them outside our room and provided bananas 24 hours. There is also a drinking water fountain. The rooms are absolutely lovely aswell. Nothing
• Grumblingghost (9/5): Family transiting thru Ketapang - Central location. Everything works well. Clean. Friendly host. Safe neighbourhood. The prayers from nearby mosques were a bit loud.
• Gerard (6/5): Pleasant - Location is good. Room was clean but basic. No hot water in the room. Sink is too small to be usable.
• Lena (10/5): Exceptional - The rooms are very simple, but super sufficient and clean - everything you need, while staying in Banyuwangi to visit Ijen. There is a shared kitchen to have some coffee in the mornings and some coffee shops and places to eat are reachable within 15 minutes to walk. The owner was super nice. We had a very good stay 🙂
• David (10/5): A Wonderful Stay at Wangi Homestay - I had a fantastic experience at Wangi Homestay! The room was clean, comfortable, and perfect for relaxing after a long day of exploring. What really made my stay exceptional was the hospitality. Indrawati was incredibly helpful in organizing my trip to Ijen and gave great recommendations for local food and laundry services. The host was always friendly and frequently checked in to see if I needed anything, which made me feel truly welcomed. If I find myself in the area again, I would definitely stay here without hesitation! Shower water could have been a little warmer

• Carsten (10/5): Amazing stay - ### Anmeldelse af overnatningsstedet I recently stayed at this wonderful homestay, and I can't recommend it highly enough! The warm welcome from the owners, Mas Bayu and Mbak Indrawati, made my visit truly special. They were incredibly helpful and friendly, going above and beyond to ensure I had a great experience. The location is perfect, very clean, and the room was comfortable. They even arranged an amazing trip to Mount Ijen for me, guiding me through the entire experience. I also enjoyed a fantastic meal at the nearby restaurant, Srengenge Wetan. As a delightful touch, I was welcomed with the most delicious bananas as a snack. Overall, the hospitality and service were exceptional, making my stay memorable. If you're looking for a great place to stay, this is it! It would have been nice to have power outlets by the bed (or maybe I just didn't find them) and perhaps a small refrigerator in the room. But nothing serious :-)
