During (free) breakfast, we had excellent conversations! Enjoyed my short stay! Nothing. Bed was comfortable, there was hot water for shower and people were nice!

• Amit (9/5): Superb - The homestay is in an excellent location beside a mountain stream. You can go to the stream through a lane outside the property. The property is well maintained, nice, and clean. The staff were very helpful and provided service with a smile. The breakfast (which is included in the booking price) and other food (payable at extra) was hot and delicious. The owner of the homestay is a nice, jovial person with whom we enjoyed a chat. As an addition, there are many species of birds around. If you are a bird watcher, you will enjoy the sights and sounds from your balcony (room number 201 and 301) The homestay is little outside of Dharamshala town. That can be good or bad, depending on your preference. There is no lift. But there are only two floors and the staff helped us in carrying the luggage. Be careful, though, if you are traveling with elders. There is no good restaurant within walkable distance of the homestay. So, you need to depend on the homestay staff for your food. The food was pricey, but it was homely and well cooked.

They had arranged early breakfast so that guests could leave early for the India England cricket test match. The caretaker Rohit was great and quickly addressed all requests I had. The food was great too.

• Pragati (10/5): Exceptional - Property - The rooms are cozy and immaculate. The view from the rooms is mesmerizing. Ample parking space is available. The property offers a magnificent view of the stream that flows behind. The visible mountain range is a treat to the eyes.  Food - Delicious food was served. The staff was flexible to graciously accept our minor alterations to their recipes (given we were travelling with a kid, spice levels had to be adjusted).  Host - Friendly, kind and helpful. Ms. Hema is a gem of a person. Highly recommended.

• Khurpia (10/5): Home Away form Home in the heart of Himachal Pradesh. - During my two day visit to Dharamshala with my family I had the pleasure of staying at this lovely hotel Kailasham Stay. From the moment we arrived, we was greeted warmly by the host Hema Ma’am, who made us feel right at home. The hotel itself was beautiful, with stunning views of the surrounding mountains and lush greenery. Our room was spacious, clean, and comfortable, with all the amenities we needed for a relaxing stay. The bed was especially comfortable, and we slept soundly each night. One of the highlights of my stay was the delicious food served by the Hotel staff. The chef prepared a variety of dishes using fresh, local ingredients, and each meal was a true delight for the senses. The staff were attentive and friendly, and always went out of their way to ensure that we had everything we needed. Overall, I had an absolutely wonderful stay at the Hotel. The warm welcome we received from the Hema Ma’am, combined with the comfortable accommodations and delicious food, made for an unforgettable experience. I would highly recommend Kailasham Stay to anyone looking for a peaceful and relaxing stay in the heart of Himachal Pradesh.
