• Alix.pelus (10/5): - Bien situé quartier calme. Personnel super gentils et aidant. Il y a tout le confort à l'intérieur (un vrai plus pour le petit déj et la machine a laver). Merci encore !!! C'est super propre Dommage si peu de toilettes/douches mais on arrive a s'en sortir. Les lits grincent et bougent quand on se déplace. Dommage aussi pour lentree pas très accueillante et propre

• Krzysztof (10/5): - Bardzo dobry stosunek ceny do jakości. Hostel prosty, ale cena odzwierciedla jakość. Hostel czysty. Rano dostępne śniadanie. Zawsze kilka świeżych, lokalnych smakołykow na śniadanie. Przez cały dzień dostępna kawa i herbata. Można korzystać z pralki i zrobić pranie. Bardzo pomocna pani z obsługi hostelu. Nie spodziewaj się super warunków, ale stosunek jakości do ceny jest ok.

• Skaba (8/5): Easy chilled hostel, good price, good location - Regular hostel, with nice balcony where you can dry your clothes. Free breakfast but not my style so I did not eat, free coffee and tea and water all day. Safe entrance with the key and lockers on the hallway. Common space one sofa and two tables. Simple regular hostel beds with the lamp and the electricity socket. Wifi perfect. Free washing machine. All good, towel could be better quality that you pay for 2 ringits.

• Potin (9/5): Très bien - Laundry et petit dej gratuits sont vraiment un plus. Les murs très fins
• Potin (9/5): Très bon rapport qualité-prix et central - Le dortoir femmes de 4 avec rideaux, lumières individuelles et climatisation. La terrasse au soleil le matin, le petit déjeuner de 7h30 à 9h30 et la laundry gratuite. Petits lockers suffisants. Très propre. Très bon rapport qualité-prix Très central et proche du night market et à 8 mn à pied du terminal de bus. Personnel gentil et accueillant même si toutes ne parlent pas bien anglais. Le mur de la chambre 101 donne sur l'espace commun. Peut être un peu bruyant ( et tôt le matin) surtout si certaines personnes parlent fort ou écoutent fort leur téléphone. Un peu plus de sens de vie commune serait un atout. La terrasse pour étendre le linge est aussi l'espace fumeur, ce qui n'est pas très logique si on veut éviter que des fringues propres sentent le tabac. A partir de 20h, proche de la guesthouse, une bande de chiens errants défendent leur territoire et mieux éviter de croiser leur chemin pour rentrer. Passer par l'autre côté de la rue ( opposé à grande route principale) pour les éviter.

• DANAI (8/5): Basic but spotlessly clean and affordable central hostel - It’s exceptionally clean in a town that very often it is not. Not a single bug apart from a mosquito or two, unlike many posher hotels, safe, central location, free breakfast and tea/coffee, ockers provided and the staff is kind and helpful. Great value for money, although basic. Good WiFi Great to have a free washing machine and space to hang clothes It’s extremely basic, so if you want any design or luxury this is not the place for you

• Valdez (10/5): - The PLACE to stay in Semporna , the woman who runs the hostel is absolutely amazing and the staff are lovely ! Breakfast included , water to refill your bottle and hot water to have a tea or coffee :) I met so many nice people and ended up to stay more than I was expecting !

You have a decent breakfast in the morning and a dispenser of hot/cold water to refill your bottle , that's great to avoid plastic ! The woman who runs the hostel is lovely and so kind , she's gonna help you with everything , the rest or the staff are great as well ! Bathroom are clean all the time , with soap and hot water ! Definitely the place to stay in Semporna !

• Kajsa (8/5): - Det fanns varmvatten i duschen. Stämningen var avspänd och inkluderande. Fyra sängar per sovsal. Frukosten var över förväntan. Bra internet. För priset var allt bra. En hylla vid sängen hade varit trevligt.

• claudia (7/5): - Dormitory war ein 4-Bettzimmer, es gab leider kein Fenster, keine Locker, die Betten waren aber bequem und es war sauber. Schade, dass es am 2. Tag keinen Kaffee mehr gab, auch auf meine Nachfrage wurde kein neuer Kaffee besorgt. Das Frühstück bestand lediglich aus Toast mit Marmelade, was man sich selber machen musste. Es wirkte alles etwas sich selbst überlassen. Frühstück war kein wirkliches Frühstück, alles eher sehr unpersönlich

• Maya (7/5): Günstig sauberes Bett okay zur Durchreise - Das Bett war sauber und bequem Es war ein Dorm mit nur 4 Betten , das Bett hatte einen Vorhang . Der Preis ist unschlagbar Es war recht laut von der Straße her und es gab innerhalb der Hostels ein lautes pfeifendes Geräusch wahrscheinlich die Wasserpumpe Die Dusche war nicht sehr sauber, eher zweckmäßig Der Aufenthaltsraum auch nicht gemütlich Schade war, dass der Hostel Boy kein englisch sprechen konnte.

• Sydrah M (8/5): Quite a decent place - I like the staff working there. They're very nice and helpful as they gave me a lot of good tips on exploring Semporna. Bed was nice too. Quite decent overall.
• Chantal (7/5): Gut - Die Unterkunft ist soweit ganz gut gelegen, dass man den Hafenbereich fussläufig erreichen kann. Da hauptsächlich Taucher diesen Ort nutzen, um zu Inseln drumherum zukommen, ist die Unterkunft gut ausgelegt. Ich habe nur einen Tag dort verbracht. Aber es war insgesamt ein ruhiges und sauberes Hostel. Die Mitarbeiter sind freundlich, aber durch sicherlich Sprachbarrieren, eher zurückhaltend. Mich hat’s aber nicht weiter gestört, da ich wie gesagt nur eine Nacht zum schlafen dort war. Es hat im Zimmer etwas muffig gerochen und da kein Fenster vorhanden war, war es auch nur schwer den Geruch rauszubekommen.
• Marta (10/5): Perfecto calidad precio - Tiene todos los servicios básicos, y también café y agua y laundry gratis… Lo que viene muy bien 😍 Además la chica que me recibió fue encantadora y me lo puso muy fácil para pagar con transferencia Wise al extender. Está muy cerca del puerto andando si tu idea es ir a las islas! El desayuno es un poco de pan con alguna salsa no muy apetecible y bollitos verdes, no me apeteció probarlo 😅

• Katrina (4/5): Wouldn't go out of my way to stay again - Staff were lovely and helpful. Free breakfast & 10 minute walk from the pier. Washing machine available and free Like most hostels in Semporna it's very basic. Solo Female travelling alone, stayed in the 8 mixed bed dorm as there was no availability in female dorm. I was the only female in my room. The were no curtains for privacy, would recommend they invest. Very small storage lockers for a small backpack and some were broken that couldn't be used. Beds were uncomfortable. The staff done a good job at keeping the place clean but the guests didn't, I watched one man lift his leg into the kitchen sink to wash his shoes (yes, shoes were on). If needed, do it in the shower and not where people wash their dishes. Also be aware if booking the airport transfer at the hostel. It turned up 15 minutes late and the driver causally had a cigarette and made everyone wait for another 10 minutes. Then needed to pick up 6 other people. Plan this around how long it takes you to get to the airport.

• Tiziano (2/5): Non consigliato - La signora alla reception è stata molto gentile. Posizione orribile, in zona sporca e non sicura. Inoltre sconsiglio di soggiornare del tutto a Semporna, città orrenda e sporca. Inoltre per fare qualsiasi cosa è necessario prenotare un tour. Il secondo ragazzo alla reception non parlava inglese. Inoltre i bagni erano sporchissimi.. e le camere veramente basiche.
• Andrea (6/5): Sarebbe ottimo se solo si potesse dormire... - Staff iper disponibile e accogliente, soprattutto la signora presente durante il giorno Posizione centrale Economico Buon livello di pulizia Colazione inclusa Possibilità di utilizzare la lavatrice, di noleggiare scooter e organizzare tour/spostamenti La struttura sarebbe ottimale, nonostante il dormitorio sia un po' piccolo e non ci siano tendine per la privacy. Purtroppo ospita persone assolutamente incapaci di condividere spazi comuni ( intendo sia la sala/cucina che il dormitorio stesso ); di fatto quindi è impossibile riposare tanto la sera quanto la mattina. La responsabilità è senza dubbio degli ospiti ma lo staff dovrebbe intervenire. Peccato, ostello potenzialmente piacevole ma sono stato 5 notti e, non potendo dormire mai, non mi sento di consigliarlo.

• Hervé (8/5): Auberge sympa - Emplacement dans un quartier populaire proche de petits restaurants à bas prix, de touts les points d'intérêts et de la station de bus, bon petit déjeuner, balcon agréable, lits confortables, lockers, eau chaude dans la douche. Beaucoup de pannes d'eau et d'électricité durant notre séjour parfois panne générale de la ville, parfois juste l'hostel.

• Anna (8/5): - Das Personal war super lieb und hilfsbereit :) Für 1,2 Tage bietet das Hostel alles, was man benötigt ! Leider gab es kein Trinkwasser zum auffüllen. Der Wasserspender war kaputt oder nicht aufgefüllt.. Vor der Tür liegt viel Müll und die Wasserpumpe kann nachts etwas nervig sein ..

• VÉRONIQUE (10/5): Super - Petit déjeuner très sympa. Accueil formidable. Très très propre. L'emplacement au centre du village et a proximité de la gare routière, du port, des commerces. Difficile de trouver l'auberge car pas d'information suffisante a l'extérieur...il y a seulement noté DZ sur la façade mais il faut se trouver juste devant pour la voir.

Well, it is basically a 4 bedrooms house filled with bunkbeds 16/20 people have to share only 2 bathrooms, so the toilet is always busy and wet, Downstairs there was a weird sewer smell, sure if coming from the restaurant but was so strong and since property is facing the loud at night.
• Jonas (6/5): - Toast werden umsonst zur Verfügung gestellt. Waschmaschine kann kostenlos genutzt werden. Teil des Personals kann kein Englisch und hat auch keine Lust sich anderweitig zu verständigen. Sie lassen die Tür nach draußen immer offen wodurch es nachts und morgens extrem laut in den Zimmern ist. Die Frau die das Meiste regelt ist aber sehr nett und kompetent.
