- Linda (10/5): - Modern apartment, comfortable, clean, warm & well equipped. Room for 3 adults comfortably. Parking & location were ideal for exploring the area, stunning view from front window.
- Moose (9/5): Short Stay in Fort William - The bedroom area was separate from the sitting area. The bed was comfortable. There was plenty of hot water and good water pressure in the shower. The bathroom is small. My feet and knees were up against the shower door while sitting on the toilet. I am 6'4" (1.93 m). The shower itself was an okay size.

- Judy (7/5): - Hosts were extremely helpful and kind, position was great, quiet, and 15-minute walk to town. The apartment is very small and enough for a couple only. We were 2 singles and the sofa bed was uncomfortable and space very tight.

- Stephen (10/5): Exceptional - Lovely views Nothing
- Kaisu (10/5): Exceptional - The apartment was cute, cozy, clean, peaceful and had a great view. It’s within easy walking distance from the center. The owners' cat visited our door on the morning we checked out, which was a lovely extra bonus! Nothing that I didn’t like :)
- Nikeeta (10/5): Exceptional - It was well managed and easy to locate
- Shona (10/5): Exceptional -
- Marie-claire (9/5): Superb - Priceless view and comfy bed
Warm as toast xo
- Osborne (10/5): Really enjoyed our stay! - Zara the host was fantastic, making sure we were comfortable throughout our stay. Even bought us cake and shortbread to thank us for being so understanding about builders coming a day early while we were there, but she ensured that they respected that we had a baby with us and made sure we had gone out for the day before using the loud tools.
Appartment was clean and views are lovely across the water. The apartment is quite compact which doesn't give huge amounts of space if you have lots of stuff with you, however this just makes it feel cozy and snug.
- Amanda (9/5): Superb -
- Mariette (9/5): Superb - Very clean and we loved the small kitchen. Everything you need is there.
- Joshua (8/5): Very good -
- Anna (9/5): Great stay in Fort William - Lovely apartment with everything you need for a short break Nothing
- Lucy (10/5): Amazing place - Beautiful decorated. Fantastic facilities. Stunning view.
- Weronika (10/5): Highly recommended for the view and independency, with kitchen corner - We loved the fact, the we had whole property for our self only. Tiny toilet/shower room, but perfect size for the purpose, very clean and no issue. In the property you could find lot of leaflets and information for local places and board games to kill boredom, as well as big TV on the wall. There is kitchen corner with fridge, microwave as well as electric hob, so you could cook for yourself if you do not wish to go out for dinner. And above all, there is an amazing view to the Loch Linnhe surrounded by mountains from the window. Highly recommended.
- Ramya (10/5): Wonderful stay! - View from the house and location very close to city centre and railway station. Couldn't close the blinds in the living room.
- Yasmin (10/5): Perfect stay. Peaceful and beautiful. -
- Lena (10/5): Would recommend everyone :) - The accommodation was lovely, the view amazing and the location could not have been better to explore the area around Fort William / Glencoe. The Sofa Bed is squeeking very loudly when moving but it’s still okay.
- Rosemary (6/5): Good bolt hole for hikers - Clean and compact accommodation with nice view. Location not great as no local walks possible. Walk to town centre is along a busy main road.
- Faizal (8/5): Very good -
- Carmelo (10/5): Exceptional -
- Ethan (10/5): Exceptional - Great little place in a perfect location for exploring Fort William and the surrounding area! Nothing.
- Liza (7/5): Okay - Location and view The sofa bed is very uncomfortable. The layout does not offer space for more than a couple.
- Jan (10/5): Lovely stay - Clean, bright, comfy, easy to check in and out.
Lovely hosts.
They let us use their laundry line and then it started rainy while we were out hiking. We called and asked and they brought our laundry in. And even folded it.
- Finn (9/5): Will visit again! - Lovely place, clean, tidy, everything in place, good location All excellent
- Alan (10/5): Exceptional - The Lodge was excellent and spotlessly clean, really friendly and helpful hosts also.
I did say I would use the lodge again, whether it be business or for a holiday. Sadly due a change in my work plans I only got to stay one night !
No complaints otherwise.
- Moon (3/5): Poor - I held off on writing this review, hoping the host would make things right. That didn’t happen. So let’s lay out the facts.
I accidentally left behind two personal items. The host found them. Instead of taking 10 seconds to send a message, they decided, on my behalf, that my belongings weren’t important and threw them away.
Let’s be clear: we were still in town for hours after check-out. Had we been notified, we could have picked them up in minutes. Instead, less than 24 hours later, when we realized the items were missing and reached out, we were met with a casual, “Oh, we binned them.” Followed by a weak, “Sorry.”
The host justified this by saying they “usually wait a day” before tossing things. That’s interesting, because last I checked, a day is 24 hours. I contacted them well within that time frame. What I didn’t expect was their follow-up, which essentially boiled down to: If your stuff was important, you wouldn’t have left it. That’s not just dismissive—it’s condescending.
Now, let’s talk about what was actually discarded. The host referred to my belongings as “underwear and a dirty pillow.” What they threw away was a brand-new, £25 shapewear bodysuit I wore under my back brace for hiking and an £18 V-shaped pillow from Dunelm, also new. The bodysuit had been hand-washed and left to dry. The pillow was not dirty. Neither was garbage—but they were treated as such.
Here’s the kicker: the host admitted they’ve returned items to guests before, listing electronics and tech devices. So, by their own words, they made a personal judgment call that my belongings weren’t worth the same courtesy. That’s not a policy—that’s an arbitrary decision.
Guests are expected to respect a host’s property, and that respect should go both ways. Forgetting something isn’t a crime. What is unacceptable is a host who takes it upon themselves to decide what is and isn’t important to their guests, without even bothering to ask.
- Anisha (7/5): Good -

- Hannah (10/5): Wonderful stay! Exactly what we needed! - Very cozy, kitchen was clean and had a microwave, stove top, fridge, oven and kettle! Easy to make a little meal:) easy check in and out, and nice parking space Nothing
- Cherilyn (8/5): A pleasant stay - Very cosy and beautiful view. Thoughtful inclusions like plunger coffee Spiral stairs to access the room are a little difficult if you have luggage
- Laura (10/5): Lovey , clean apartment. Had everything we needed for an over night stay. Would definitely stay again - Very well equipped apartment
- Miguel (10/5): Exceptional -
- Corinne (10/5): Exceptional - Clean, good location, friendly, nice amenities
- Andreea (10/5): Exceptional -
- Zoe (10/5): Perfect little place. - Immaculately presented. Comfortable beds. Had everything needed. Stunning view of Loch. ....
- Gianna (8/5): Very good - The house was really nice and in a good position to visit the area I think the house is good for 2 people, with a child at most
Too small for three or more adults.
Anyway everything was ok
- Lydia (10/5): Exceptional -
- Daniele (8/5): A nice, independent mini apartment overlooking the lake - This is a detached mini-apartment, all served by electric power with auto check-in and a nice view on white houses and the lake. The guests are a very nice, young couple who won't be around if it is not necessary, but still welcoming and ready to intervene if necessary. The apt is like a wheels-less caravan, or a small boat: tiny spaces but everything functioning very well. It takes up to 20 minutes to reach the center of Fort William but it is absolutely a nice and easy walk, just aside of some example of outstanding early 1900 architecture. The apt is a floating structure, so I suppose during winter the floor could be very cold. It was in July, for sure. But the heating system works quite well, so It shouldn't be a great problem. For a couple it is great: for a family, just prepare to shrink and jump over each other a little bit, but who cares?
- Michelle (9/5): It was inviting and lovely. Would definitely stay again. - It was clean, modern, had everything we need. Fantastic views. We found the mattress on the bed hard.
- Kathryn (10/5): We had a great stay and the location was ideal for what we wanted thanks - Didn’t have breakfast so can’t comment
Location was good
Host was very helpful I’m not a good sleeper so maybe some comfier pillows, other than that everything was fine
- Susan (10/5): Room with a view. - Beautiful views out the front, and private backyard view. Very clean. The host brought us a basket of cocoa and breakfast items to start our day. Parking on site. Quick drive to Ben Nevis and quaint city center. It is as advertised. Perfect for a family with a couple of kids. Master bed is very comfortable. We were two adult couples and stayed two nights. It worked out fine for us. Just be aware of spiral stairs up to the unit. Sofa bed is best for smaller adults or children, not complaining though. It worked out just fine for two young adults.
- Denham (10/5): Exceptional - Very comortable and quiet. Amazing view.
- Dorothy (8/5): New hosts making good start to new holiday venture. - Complementary breakfast on first morning only included dubious porrage pots! Tea/coffee/sugar containers almost empty and not clear what was actually provided by hosts.
- Robert (10/5): Excellent property. Would highly recommend. - Location is perfect, 10 minute walk into the town centre. Property has everything you could need. Owners even provided croissants, porridge, tea/coffee, shampoo, shower gel, hair conditioner, kitchen products. Very clean and comfortable. Exceptional views of the Loch. Onsite parking. Peaceful location. The stairs up to the property.
- Rob (9/5): Superb -
- Jeetendar (5/5): Our stay was satisfactory. - The property was clean and there was a nice complimentary breakfast basket provided. One bedroom linked onto the kitchen and bathroom, so there was no privacy if the people using the other room needed the bathroom at night. It’s not really practical for 4 adults and is more suitable for 2 adults.
- Josh (6/5): Pleasant -
- Lisa (10/5): The most fabulous place - This was fabulous,so clean and fresh, added extras were so nice. Beautiful place to stay
- Ayush (9/5): Superb -
- Jack (10/5): Exceptional -
- Lynn (9/5): Superb - Lovely spacious appartment with a stunning view and everything you need. Communication was detailed, fast and pleasant through the booking.com messenger. Only stayed for a night, but it's perfectly suited for a longer stay.
Would book again.
