We had a well-equipped house to ourselves complete with private sunny garden. Loved the quirky decor and paintings everywhere. A lot of love, creativity and thought has obviously gone into the house which we really enjoyed and appreciated. Location was perfect. Very close to the centre of Dunster and quiet. We had the best weather of the year for our 4 days of walking as a bonus! Exmoor looking wonderful in the sunshine. Looking forward to returning next year. Nothing
• Vanessa (10/5): - Lovely property, the highlight is definitely the terraced garden which has views of the village and surrounding countryside and is a great spot for enjoying the sunshine. It will be even better in summer with the lighter evenings. There are lots of nice touches provided, like dressing gowns, slippers and local milk and cereal for breakfast. The owners are very friendly and helpful. The bed was comfy but a little soft for me, but I think that's just personal preference, as I slept very well.

The location is perfect for walking and exploring 😍 Colin and Dean are wonderful hosts who were there if we needed them. The bed is like sleeping in a warm hug, so comfy and cosy. We visited Tessa's Coffee Shop and everything was delicious 😋 We would love to come back especially in the summer when we could enjoy the garden. Thank you so much 💓 Nothing to dislike.

• Christine (9/5): Lovely host Colin and accommodation and well appointed for the town - Love the quirky decor and attention to detail. Comfy bed and amazing assortment of lighting. Well equipped kitchens and appreciated the coffee, tea, milk etc. Nothing to dislike.

• Les (10/5): A relaxing break - Lovely, well appointed and comfortably furnished. Fantastically comfortable bed and a shower you stay in for ages. The only downside is parking, which was made aware booking information and Colin and Dean made every effort to make a parking space available as near to the apartment as possible. There are parking spaces coming available most of the time and we were lucky enough to get one outside no 25 on our return after a day out. The stay in the apartment far outweighs this small inconvenience.
• Peter (10/5): Could not have asked for more for a short R&R break - Loads of room - quirky lovely garden. Helpful friendly hosts. Great location Parking could be a probe but we were lucky and got right outside.
• Lucia (10/5): Fabulous barn , secluded garden and amazing hosts. - The barn was truly exceptional. We have stayed in many lovely places but this was the best we have ever stayed in . I doubt we will find another property like this . It was furnished with lots of love and high quality furniture and furnishings, it was comfortable and the hamper that was left was a very thoughtful welcome. It was exquisite. Don’t think about it , book it . It’s central to everything , walking distance to town and the castle . Colin & Dean told us where we could go for our anniversary dinner and about a tea room that we wouldn’t have found because it was set back from the street . Both were fantastic recommendations. We were sad to go as it went by so quickly . However we will return at some point , it’s one of those properties with fantastic hosts that you want to go back to. Thanks for a. Share of your house and fabulous garden ( which I forgot to mention- it had great views on 2 levels and was private for us to use ) . There was nothing to dislike . Colin and Dean were the perfect hosts .
• Eric (10/5): Logement entier avec jardin au centre de Dunster - Séjour parfait à Dunster dans "Woodville Barn". Tout d'abord, l'accueil est très sympathique et professionnel. Les hôtes sont des gens charmants qui restent disponibles en cas de besoin ou de question. La communication est aisée et nous avons eu à l'avance tous les détails concernant l'arrivée. Le logement est très spacieux et confortable. Il est décoré de façon originale et avec goût. C'est parfaitement équipé (cuisine moderne) et le lit est hyper confortable. Il y a un jardin fleuri en terrasse : quel bonheur et quel calme ! Le stationnement est possible dans la rue même (hors des lignes jaunes) car des places se libèrent en fin d'après-midi. Je recommande sans hésiter et je reviendrai avec grand plaisir si je repasse dans la région. Dunster est un village charmant, qu'il ne faut pas manquer. Merci et bonne continuation à Colin et Dean. Je ne vois rien à signaler, tout était parfait.
• Alison (10/5): - This is wonderful self catering accommodation in a really nice village. Nearby are excellent restaurants and shops. Also the accommodation is walking distance from Dunster Castle and a working mill.. Only slight problem is the accommodation doesn't have its own parking. Parking is available on the road if you can find a space at the busy times.
• Marion (9/5): Gerne wieder! - Die tolle Ausstattung und der persönliche Touch; der Außenbereich war toll, auch wenn wir ihn wenig genutzt haben; Badeschlappen und Bademantel wurden bereitgestellt; die Küche war gut ausgestattet; frisches Wasser und frische Milch im Kühlschrank - klasse! Nichts!

Colin and Dean are the most welcoming, warm and attentive hosts and they have created stylish, comfortable accommodation and beautiful outside space. We're missing the gorgeous, central but peaceful location already and looking forward to returning. Thank you Colin and Dean for a perfect break. There's absolutely nothing not to like.

• Marie (10/5): Perfect barn perfect hosts the lovely George - Woodville was perfect and we very much enjoyed our stay and hope to return.Location was perfect to explore Dunster village and surrounding area.Plenty of lovely places to go for breakfast,lunch and dinner.The deli was great to pick up bread,cheese and chutney.Our hosts which recommended visiting The Luttrell Arms hotel was perfect for a drink in the garden overlooking the castle and dinner was delicious in the evening,definitely recommend

Woodville Barn far exceeded my expectations...it is an exceptional property on every level - style, comfort, cleanliness, facilities - in an exceptional location. Colin and Dean are wonderfully welcoming, friendly and relaxed hosts and have created the most beautiful environment to spend time in, with lots of thoughtful extras. Style may be a personal choice, but for me, everything about the style of the flat totally hit the mark. And then there were the gardens! Exquisite, vibrant and bursting with colour and character. A total gem of a find set in the dreamiest of locations. Couldn't fault a thing...

Everything is of the highest standard, the bed is so comfortable, the linen and towels are top quality and so well equipped with thoughtful touches such as the breakfast hamper. A warm welcome personally by the owner was very much appreciated and it's central, yet quiet location in this beautiful, historic village cannot be beaten! Nothing!!

• Quirein (10/5): Hosts and locations absolute gems!! - Wonderful hidden gem with a beautiful levelled garden and amazing friendly hosts that were lovely to talk to and very accommodating. Another highlight of our stay was meeting Pixie, the sweetest little dog! We would not hesitate to recommend this place and we hope to come back to stay here again! Nothing, amazing place and very underrated.

Not intrusive in any way and most helpful if you’re looking for advice about what to see and do in Dunster and the surrounding area. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and definitely hope to return. The hosts were gracious enough to stock up fresh fruits,milk and local oats from the local water mill!! This is Dunster's best kept secret! Loved every second of our stay!

The apartment was spotless and tastefully decorated. All the mod cons were provided and we had a wonderful two night stay in this stunning village.
