• Marion (9/5): Tolle Unterkunft direkt in den Reisfeldern - Super tolle Lage inmitten der Reisfelder und einem Dorf mit Locals. Es ist von Sapa aber schon ein Stück weg. Wer Natur und Ruhe nach einem Aufenthalt in Hanoi sucht, ist hier genau richtig. Die Bungalows waren sehr schön, mit ausreichend Platz. Frühstück war wenig Auswahl und sehr einfach gehalten.

• Natascha (9/5): Fantastisch - Ons beviel juist de locatie: Half uurtje buiten het centrum, maar juist tussen de locals en de rijstenvelden. Prachtige plek. Ook vonden we het personeel fantastisch: Heel gastvrij en behulpzaam. Faciliteiten waren top: Wasservice en makkelijk scootertje huren. De hike door het landschap, de rijstenveld en de dorpjes met local Lai was fantastisch. Veel insecten, wat opzich te verwachten is voor een ecolodge, maar helaas ook veel insecten in de kamer zonder klamboes.

• Srishti (10/5): - Loved everything about this place, lovely room with all amenities, beautiful view right outside the window and lovely hosts. We were coming to Sapa after a long travel and booked full body massage at the hotel itself in the evening which was so relaxing. The hostess at the reception had a wonderful welcoming smile and was always there to help you with any questions or taxi, and her English is great as well. Will highly recommend staying here.

Die Hausherrin war sehr lieb und hilfsbereit. Das Hotel ist wirklich sehr schön Die Unterkunft liegt außerhalb und man muss dann entsprechend mit Grab fahren. Die Adresse gibt es bei Grab nicht, sodass man die letzten 500 Meter laufen muss

• Aline (10/5): Gerne wieder!:) - Die Unterkunft war sehr toll! Wir würden definitiv wieder kommen und haben und direkt wohl gefühlt. Wir hatten einen super Ausblick auf die Reisterassen. Unsere Host war sehr hilfreich. Sie war jederzeit erreichbar und hat uns tolle Tipps für Ausflüge und Wanderungen gegeben. Zudem konnte ein Shutte über die Unterkunft nach Sapa organisiert werden. Alles war sehr sauber.

• Joanna (7/5): The location is nice but a bit far from SAPA centre. You can rent a motorbike from the hotel but the prices are more exp - Nice location, clean. The bed was comfortable. The kettle in the room not working properly, the hairdryer is burnt and was giving smoke so couldn’t use it.
• Monika (10/5): - We had such an amazing stay at Supan Ecolodge in Sapa. It truly exceeded all our expectations. From the moment we arrived, everything felt special and welcoming. The location is a bit away from the city center, but honestly, that’s what makes this place so magical. The journey there by scooter or car is an adventure in itself, surrounded by breathtaking views that you simply wouldn’t experience in town. It gave us a sense of peace and escape that we were really looking for. A special thank you to Zei at the reception. She is incredibly kind, warm, and always ready to help with anything. She made us feel at home from the very beginning. The food was absolutely delicious, and after long days of hiking, the swimming pool was the perfect way to relax and recharge. We wholeheartedly recommend this place to anyone visiting Sapa. It’s a hidden gem that offers both comfort and unforgettable experiences. We truly hope to come back again in the future!

• Deyan (7/5): - Das Personal war wirklich sehr, sehr freundlich und hilfsbereit. Sie haben uns zum Beispiel dabei geholfen, einen Roller zu mieten, und sich insgesamt viel Mühe gegeben. Leider war das Zimmer, das wir in der ersten Nacht bekommen haben, in einem sehr schlechten Zustand. Die gesamte Decke war verschimmelt, ebenso Teile der Dekoration an der Wand. Da wir sehr spät angekommen sind, konnten wir an diesem Abend niemanden mehr um ein anderes Zimmer bitten. Als wir uns am nächsten Tag wegen des Geruchs beschwerten, wusste die Dame an der Rezeption sofort, worum es ging, und gab uns direkt ein neues, schimmelfreies Zimmer. Es ging hier nicht um ein bisschen Schimmel in der Dusche, wie es in feuchten Regionen manchmal vorkommt, sondern um großflächigen Schimmel an der kompletten Zimmerdecke. Auch wenn der Service sehr nett war und wir schnell ein anderes Zimmer bekommen haben, finde ich es nicht in Ordnung, dass ein solches Zimmer überhaupt vermietet wird. Das Essen war lecker, die Getränke waren allerdings enttäuschend. Ich erwarte in einer Ecolodge keine aufwendigen Cocktails, aber wenn Cocktails angeboten werden, sollten sie auch entsprechend zubereitet werden können. Ich hatte einen Tequila Sunrise bestellt. Da keine Orange vorhanden war, wurde stattdessen Zitrone verwendet – am Ende bestand das Getränk im Wesentlichen aus Wasser, etwas Zitronensaft und Tequila. Insgesamt war das Personal wirklich ein großer Pluspunkt, aber der Zustand des ersten Zimmers war leider nicht akzeptabel.

The room was not well protected from the rain, as water came in through the window during rainfall. There was also ongoing construction outside, which caused noise. Additionally, the walls were thin, and we could clearly hear the neighbours talking and using the shower.

We didn’t look into much before we came to Sapa so we didn’t realize how far from the city we would be. Grabs would get lost and it was very dark trying to find our way home.

• Anno (8/5): Een prima plek als je rust en natuur wil in de regio Sapa. - Hoewel de lodge 40 minuten van Sapa ligt, maakt de rust , de prachtige omgeving en het zeer vriendelijke personeel dat meer dan goed. Het ligt wat ver van de stad waardoor je niet ergens anders kan eten. Dit is geen issue, want de keuken is prima. De kast is goed, maar basic.
• Oliver Posborg (9/5): Skønneste natur, udsigt og RO her! Særligt Diep var SÅ sød! - Fantatisk oplevelse på Supan Ecolodge! Vi håbede på at få en autentisk og natur rig oplevelse og man må sige at det levede op til alle vores forventninger! Skønneste natur, udsigt og RO her. Præcis som vi havde drømt om efter en del rejsedage med larm og støj. Vi vågnede op til den smukkeste udsigt, hvor både gæs, ænder, kyllinger og bøffelkøer gik frit rundt ude foran vores værelse! Dog var den bedste oplevelse de søde og skønne medarbejdere som virkelig var med til at gøre oplevelsen endnu bedre. Særligt Diep var SÅ sød og vi brugte flere timer på at sidde og snakke med hende! Vi elskede at snakke med hende og kunne mærke hvor meget hun brændte for at give en god oplevelse til gæsterne. Vi er taknemmelige for de minder vi fik her og kunne bestemt godt finde på at vende tilbage til dette naturparadis. Det ligger lidt øde og det skal man være opmærksom på ved booking. Har man gangbesvær kan det være rimelig svært at komme rundt da resortet ligger på en meget stejl skråning, dog var dette ikke et problem for os. Derudover var den eneste lidt negative ting at man ikke rigtig kunne spise andre steder end her, netop pga. lokationen. Jeg vil sige at maden var middelmådig. Havde vi haft flere dage var vi nok blevet lidt trætte af at skulle spise her morgen, middag og aften. Det var muligt at bestille grab herud til men vær opmærksom på at de ikke vil køre de sidste 400 meter ned til selve resortet, og man derfor skal gå en rimelig stejl vej op til "hovedvejen". Dog en ret skøn oplevelse da man går igennem det meget autentisk lokale miljø.

• Janos (10/5): Prachtig uitzicht en behulpzaam personeel! - Dit is zoveel beter dan in Sapa zitten. Met dit verblijf krijg je waar voor je geld. Zo’n prachtig uitzicht. Ruime kamers met grote bedden. Alles schoon, modern en gezellig. Het personeel is super behulpzaam en staat je met een vriendelijke lach te woord. We hebben een heel fijn verblijf gehad.

• Elena (6/5): Immersa nel verde vicino agli imbocchi per il Trekking e le risaie - Struttura immersa nella natura che consente di accedere ai Trekking per i villaggi e le risaie senza bisogno di trasporto. Staff accogliente, molto disponibile. Siamo state in realtà in una struttura similare per indisponibilità della camera in questa c’è piaciuta l’escursione con la guida che ci ha trovato la struttura. Dovevamo alloggiare in questa struttura, ma un paio di giorni prima ci hanno indicato che la stanza non era disponibile per lavori e ci hanno spostato in una struttura similare più vicina alla zona del Trekking. Non c’è piaciuta la colazione.

• Mia (10/5): An amazing feeling with cloud-like comfortable beds - This place truly feels like paradise — a beautiful retreat set among lovely gardens. We had a room with a breathtaking view of the mountains. The spa was fantastic; we enjoyed a massage by local therapists, and it was honestly one of the best massage experiences I have ever had.

• Falconer (7/5): A Most Perilous Ascent to an Otherwise Lovely Establishment - Loved everything about the property, once we were inside it While the views are impressive, the access road is extremely narrow and exposed, with long cliff-edge stretches and very steep ascents. Passengers with even mild discomfort around heights may find the drive confronting. There was construction ongoing and we had to get out 500m before the place and walk with our suitcases because there was road works taking place. Once we got there staff informed us that if we had called them they would have picked us up with their motor bikes. That was okay but not ideal, also not their fault. The road also gave my partner motion sickness every single time we went for a drive, so we had to check out early. Its a beautiful place with lovely staff, but if I had known the rest, I would have booked else where. Also, unfortunately, my partner also slipped in the shower due to the very large smooth tiles and lack of any handholds or grab rails, resulting in him hitting his head on the floor. He is a healthy adult (30), so this is not an age-related issue. While no serious injury occurred, it was concerning from a safety perspective.

We arrived without any plans, and the amazing staff helped us arrange everything. The lodge itself is also wonderful: cute, with a super beautiful garden, amazing food, very nice rooms, and staff who are truly kind and enthusiastic! Definitely the best experience in Sapa.

• Isabella (10/5): What a wonderful place. This is a place that makes you feel comfortable and relaxed - It's truly one of the most beautiful places I have ever stayed. And it is definitely the best during my trip in Vietnam. Everything is extremely beautiful, taken care of with love, and definitely worth the price. The food is very delicious, and the staff are very friendly and helpful. The motorbikes for rent are very new and in the best condition, so the price is a little higher than average. But I find the price completely worth it. A full five stars and I would definitely recommend everyone to come to Supan Ecolodge.

• Thomas (10/5): Wonderful experience - Honestly, this was one of the best accommodation experiences we had during our trip to Vietnam. The homestay is very peaceful, beautiful, and surrounded by nature. The room was clean and comfortable, and the overall atmosphere truly made us feel at home. The only downside is that it is quite far from the city center and from restaurants or dining options.

• Augusta (10/5): The best you can find - We stayed at Supan Ecolodge, and it was truly an extraordinary experience. The reception team was absolutely perfect at every moment — from our very first contact to arrange information about our late arrival, to organizing and booking tours around the area, and finally the warm welcome we received when we returned. This is a wonderful experience if you truly want to immerse yourself in nature.
• Jasmine (10/5): A wonderful place - Supan Ecolodge is a hidden gem in Sapa. Our bungalow was warm, clean, and surrounded by fresh, natural scenery. The trekking adventure through the mountain villages was unforgettable. The staff were attentive without being intrusive. It’s a perfect getaway to escape the noise of the city.

• Clarissa (9/5): Wonderful - Amazing, lovely staff & the rooms are super comfortable. Food was fantastic & the wine! If you are driving, the track down is not designed for large vehicles. The reception are more than willing to assist though & were great at booking taxis
• Adam (10/5): Feels Like Home - We stayed at this beautiful hotel for three days and truly felt like we were in a little paradise oasis. The rooms were spacious and elegantly decorated, and waking up in the morning to views of the mountains and rice fields through the windows was absolutely magical
• Sophie (10/5): We had an absolutely wonderful experience! - We spent our honeymoon at Supan Ecolodge and were warmly welcomed by the staff with so many thoughtful and lovely touches. The whole place is beautiful — the bungalows are beautifully decorated and very comfortable. We enjoyed both dinner and breakfast on site, and everything was delicious. We also treated ourselves to a spa massage, which was absolutely amazing! The only minor downside was that the roads are a bit difficult to navigate and somewhat hard to find, but it wasn’t a major issue. We would 100% recommend this place! Thank you to the entire team!

The staff were incredibly friendly and attentive, the rooms were clean and comfortable, and the location was simply perfect. The atmosphere here made me feel relaxed and genuinely welcome. • Sebastian (9/5): Super sted med det sødeste personale. De kan hjælpe med så godt som alt. Eks taxature til og fra Sapa (det er at foretræ - Det lå så smukt i bjergene blandt rismarker. Personalet var noget af de mest søde og hjælpsomme. Vi var der december - uden for sæson. Det var stadig smukt. Vil dog gerne besøge det igen til foråret/sommer. Hyggelige værelser med sengelamper. Smuk udsigt. Naturligvis kold pool i december 😊

The staff are fantastic at what they do — truly amazing. Their positivity and cheerfulness are contagious and make your stay even more enjoyable.
• Guest (9/5): Lovely staff, stunning views and a secret little getaway from the hustle and bustle! - Incredible views! Staff were wonderful, so keen to make our stay memorable, especially for my birthday. They helped my partner get flowers and wine for our room and were so excited to make it special! An amazing location! Only downside was taxi cost to Sapa town (around £8 one way) but so worth it to be in a quieter, natural and more secluded location! Slightly further out location. Need to take taxi money into account. But great for what we wanted!
• Ieva (6/5): Beautiful views but poor amenities - We loved the view, however during this time of year it is foggy, therefore 50% of the time we could not see anything :( The food is terrible at the resort restaurant, we tried a few times..barely any food delivery options available, so you have to be committed to go everywhere by taxi 35 minutes each way. Some wifi and water heater issues, pool is unusable this time of year.

• Jai (10/5): Excellent - This homestay is beautifully situated right in the middle of the rice fields, just before reaching Sapa. My husband and I booked a room for one night before starting our motorbike journey, and we were genuinely impressed. Everything felt new and spotless, the service was excellent, and the food was fantastic. The rooms were warm and comfortable, and the pool area was peaceful and relaxing. We were also grateful that they allowed us to leave our large luggage there after check-out so we could explore the area more easily
• Bradley (10/5): Surprised - We stayed one night in a spacious room with a beautiful mountain view, and were pleasantly surprised by how nice everything was. The staff were friendly, the bed was comfortable, and everything was very clean—including the modern bathroom. Breakfast was simple but good, and the coffee was excellent. One tip: ask the staff to call a taxi for you, as booking a Grab is quite difficult in this area and drivers may drop you far from the hotel.
• Molly (10/5): Highlight of my Vietnam trip! - I spent a week at Supan Ecolodge as a 19-year-old solo traveller, and it was absolutely unforgettable. The peaceful surroundings of rice terraces and mountains, the tasty home-cooked meals, and the cosy rooms were all wonderful. But what truly made the experience special was the warm, welcoming people. A definite must-stay when visiting Sapa!

• Keira (10/5): It beautiful nature - The food was delicious, and although the room was small, it felt very warm and cozy even in this chilly weather. We were also lucky to have beautiful sunshine. The receptionist helped plan our trekking trip, and it turned out to be a really fun experience. I truly recommend trying trekking here — it’s absolutely worth it.

• Evan (10/5): Best Views in Sapa - Supan Ecolodge is nestled in the mountains, peaceful and private. The staff are friendly, the rooms are spacious and clean, the beds are comfortable, and complimentary drinks and ironing service are provided. The restaurant serves delicious food with quick service, and the resort also offers massages for relaxation. Definitely worth experiencing!

• Alysson (6/5): Décevant - Hôtel éloigné du centre-ville et qui possède une magnifique vue sur les rizières et la vallée. Le personnel est vraiment adorable. Petit-déjeuner et plats servis le soir correct. Malheureusement nous avons été réveillé les 3 nuits par le coq de la maison juste en bas qui chante dès 4h du matin.. Aucune isolation phonique entre les chambres. De plus nous avons eu des soucis avec l’eau chaude pendant deux jours (même si le personnel a fait son possible pour régler la situation) Si c’était à refaire je choisirais un hôtel plus proche du centre de Sa Pa (avec du recul celui-ci était beaucoup trop loin de tout)
• Laura (9/5): Très bon séjour au Supan Ecolodge - Très bel hôtel, grande chambre et confortable ! Belle vue sur les rizières et personnel très agréable. L’emplacement est un peu excentré c’est le seul petit inconvénient.

From the moment you walk through the door, you feel relaxed and well cared for. The food is delicious and suits the tastes of all family members. The rooms are spacious, comfortable, and beautifully decorated.
