• Andrew (9/5): If you like views then this is a great place to stay! - The views were superb - the flat is on the 42nd floor with a corner location and outlook in two directions. The open plan kitchen and lounge generous, beds comfy, host who met us gave us a friendly welcome and orientation. The sound insulation was good from neighbour noise. It is ten minutes from Victoria Station. There were no coffee or tea facilities except for a kettle. Just as well I packed a cafetiere! As other reviewers have said this seems an oversight. Likewise there appeared to be no jug or bowl for heating milk (or anything else) in the microwave. The flat is stunning - but may not stay that way as the finishes are not the highest quality eg the wooden looking floors are actually a kind of vinyl that is starting to peel close to the windows revealing an MDF material below. Dishwasher wasn't working as soap dispenser catch appeared to be broken - which I reported after we left as last morning was first time we tried to use it. This constructive crit warmly received by host company.

The location was perfect—close to major attractions, restaurants, and transport links. The accommodation was clean, stylish, and well-equipped with everything I needed for a comfortable stay. The host was friendly and responsive, making the experience even better. I would highly recommend this place to anyone visiting Manchester and would definitely stay again!

While the property was lovely to look at , it did not have enough crockery or cutlery for 6 people. Only 2 wine glasses, 5 mugs, 5 sets of cutlery, only 4 chairs at the dinning table. Broken draw. We were in Manchester as a family of 6 for Christmas as our daughter was working, so were extremely disappointed when we looked in the cupboards, under the doormat were informed but were unable to assist and have us £40 refund , which was not sufficient for the inconvenience it caused to us on 23/12/24

• Dana (9/5): Despite a few missing essentials, the modern design, stunning views, and great location make this a place I’d gladly reb - The location of the apartment and the views from every room were absolutely exceptional! The property itself was modern, making it a great space to enjoy our holiday. We booked this apartment for the holidays, expecting to cook and enjoy homemade meals, but it lacked some essentials: - Limited glass cups, plates, and utensils. - Minimal cooking supplies, making meal prep very difficult. While the location, views, and modern design were exceptional, these improvements would make it more holiday-friendly.

Liked the pictures but were fascinated when we arrived. I felt very comfortable and safe at Greengate. Would love to stay there in the future I just suggest a small broom and dust pan to clean between scheduled cleanings

• Sheza (10/5): My stay was exactly what I wanted. - Greengate was a great location ! I would definitely book again. The staff were very helpful, and there was great communication through WhatsApp. The facilities were spot on and of course the property itself was stunning and exactly what I was looking for ! Extremely clean and looks brand new. Would 100% book again. The parking facilities were very good too. They have a carpark that’s literally a 30 second walk from the building. So very accessible. Also, they have a convenience shop that’s not too far from the location which was good. Nothing to complain about.

The kitchen was very poorly equipped with not enough items for 5 people and not enough or big enough pans to cook for 5. There were only 2 wine glasses. No long glasses. Not enough bowls. The kitchen is enormous but there is nothing in the cupboard. Whilst we texted the host to ask for items it became frustrating and even then the items provided were not adequate. If you want to actually cook a meal I would not recommend

• Niall (10/5): Best apartment in Manchester for a small group - Anyone looking for a short stay in Manchester City should look no further than this. Stunning views, fantastic facilities and a warm welcome. We even arrived hours late to check in due to a broken down car and it was never an issue. Great value for money. Could not rate this property any higher. Nothing to dislike

We loved the aesthetic of the property. The one downfall of the property wasn’t actually about the property itself but instead the staff managing it. They were lovely and very helpful, but communication could have been a bit better in terms of replying about queries.

• Nick (2/5): Find somewhere else, like lock keepers cottage in Castlefield - The apartment itself was nice and had comfy furniture, however the lack of facilities really let it down We arranged to check in at 16:00 and the rep from the management company only turned up at 17:00, after waiting for an hour with another group we were not offered any compensation, despite there being a fine if we were to have done the same! Not to mention the constant upsells for ‘early check in’ and ‘late check out’ amongst other things. There were zero facilities apart from furniture, no coffee making facilities, no cooking equipment, no milk. Basically nothing, I think this is done on purpose to prevent you from actually using the kitchen to cook - despite this being a full apartment. Who’s going to bring their own pots and pans! At least include a cafetière and a microwave please! We definitely feel that the lack of compensation for having to wait around for over an hour to check in was insult to injury. But not sure I will expect much more from landlords and management companies in this style of buy to profit development in future.

Management company have not refunded the £200 deposit they demanded as we reported a broken sofa to them - apparently that must mean we broke it. Hairdryer blew up on us with sparks. No air conditioning in the apartment, very stuffy nights sleep. No toiletries provided. Have to provide passport details for every guest before they’ll give you the address of the apartment. Oh and make sure you all arrive together because when you get there they want to take photos of your ID again. ensure you submit a GDPR ‘Right to be forgotten’ I do not trust this company in the slightest. All fur coat, no knickers.
