• Beata (10/5): - It was very nice and unusual apartment with banana tree (with bananas) in the garden. All I needed was there (shower, washing machine, fridge, AC, dining outside). Apartment was spacious, the area was quiet. Host was approachable and friendly. Power outages but they were outside of host control (blackouts in the area) and host was doing all in their power to help coping with this (power batteries keeping fridge and light working).

• Zoltán (8/5): Nice, clean place, a little far from everything. - Pleasant and safe house in the middle of the village. Large and simply furnished room, well-used bathroom (hot water was always available). Outdoor kitchen for preparing simple meals and another small terrace where you can relax comfortably. Perfect for two people. Parking is also available if you are arriving by car. The taxi driver who picked me up from the airport was nice and polite. He is the son of the host, I got the keys from him and arranged the payment for the accommodation with him. The nearest restaurants and shops are a 5-6 minute walk away on a terribly bad, unlit road. Once you are on the main road, you can eat well and shop easily. The beach was about a 15 minute walk for me, but maybe I didn't find the shortest way. The air conditioning in the house worked on a separate circuit, which sometimes turned off for long hours. This is of course not the fault of the host, but it is a fact. There was once a problem that they were able to solve, and it was fixed within an hour. The bed was very comfortable, but the pillow was horrible, because it was too hard.

No está en primera línea y puedes relacionarte con los locales de la zona. Hay un puesto de fruta a 20 pasos. Un supermercado en la carretera a 5 minutos a pie. La playa, a unos 7 minutos. El apartamento dispone de parking privado, la cocina completa equipada, una habitación muy amplia y un baño completo mas que suficiente. Dispone de agua caliente, Wi-Fi y aire acondicionado. El anfitrión Baki y su hermana son unos excelentes anfitriones. Nada

Location (5 mins walk from beach and numerous shops and restaurants nearby) Spacious, comfortable and light room and outdoor area, while nicely private Great well-equipped open-air kitchen, with washing machine and drying lines Host was always on-hand to address any questions or needs we had Nice back-up for power outages (didn't really notice other than one extended outage, which is normal for Zanzibar) Wifi good enough for remote working

• Andreas (4/5): Totally ok budget accommodation if they get the power outages sorted out - Overall a good accommodation with a nice owner The big downside was all the power outages that came every now and then and made the stay uncomfortable. Now I know that the owner was going to install a generator so I hope it will be better for the next guests.

I was finally able to wash my clothes, to cook my food and to relax. The owner is really nice and ready to provide to every need.I'll definitely come back! I just would have liked the room to be cleaned everyday.

• Bolin (10/5): 100% worth staying in Kiwengwa - This homestay allows you to use entire kitchen, garden, room all on your own which is more than 100m2 cuz there will only be yourself there! We really enjoyed staying at this chill place and the staff even gave us a discount price for it. Everyone here is sooo kind and helpful. We highly recommend this place to everyone if you stay in Kiwengwa. Everything was perfect and we’d like to recommend everyone who gonna stay in Kiwengwa.
