Hosts even allowed us a swim in their private pool which was very much appreciated. Didn't expect a TV in the main bedroom, but it wasn't a smart TV and therefore not HD which we are used to. Not a bit thing.
• Adam (9/5): Comfortable, well located property with super-friendly hosts - Really friendly, hospitable hosts who generously left us some 'welcome' treats including Christmas crackers, tea bags and milk. This is a well equipped property with comfortable reclining chairs in the sitting room, very effective air conditioning and a fully functional kitchenette. The shower is modern and has good power and the hosts supply a generous number of towels. The main bedroom is welcoming with quality linen on the bed. Off road parking is available. The property is located within easy walking distance of the town centre and the beaches and waterfront. As overseas visitors we would have appreciated wifi as our phone signal was not strong and it was difficult to communicate with family in the UK, (but this was not offered in the property description so we were not expecting it).

• Louise (10/5): Loved this place and when travelling again to Nambucca will stay again. Definitely recommending it - The spacious house. Very inventive use of space and loved the 2 bathrooms for the 4 of us. The Kookaburras wer eon fire the day we were there so a 5am gathering was not great. But they lasted 5 mins and moved on. ALL GOOD!

• Rachel (9/5): Great Stay - Self check-in is very easy and entrance is signposted, we were also able to check-in slightly earlier which was much appreciated. Good location close to town shops. Plenty of street parking available. Vera and Gary were quick to communicate with, have a detailed info book in the house, and have added personal touches to the spacious home which made it cosy. Some minor noise can be heard through the living room interconnecting door but not an issue for sleeping, very comfy bed (and comfy armchairs!). Kitchen has what you need for a short stay.
• Jodie (10/5): Best Stay - We stopped at Nambucca Lodge for night before heading off to Brisbane for my brothers wedding. Gary and Vera greeted us and welcomed us. Their place was very nice welcoming plenty of room. Quite street will definitely be going back.

• Cyndi (6/5): Disappointing lack of quiet enjoyment of accommodation - Supplied with everything you could want Glass interconnecting door with no sound proofing allowing noise transference. Easily heard doors opening and banging, dishes being washed, TV and loud talking at times. Mowing in the late afternoon after we had stayed out all day as the owners had said they would mow in the morning. Dark and closed in as every window was frosted and some would not open. There is no view at all

• Wendy (9/5): Superb - The apartment was big with a comfy lounge room and a functional kitchen. It was hot and humid the day we arrived, and hosts offered us use of their pool to cool down, even provided beach towels in the apartment. Loved the chocolate biscuits in the fridge, just a little thing, but nice. Only thing missing was a stovetop and oven, but everything else was good.
• Steve (9/5): Superb - Lovely little unit. Great facilities. Loved the Oreo biccies in the fridge, NOM! Would stay again. We arrived when it was pitch dark and pouring with rain. We were told it was Number 8. We found the house with the letter box with a number 8 on it and went up the ramp to the entrance. The lock box was outside but we couldn't for the life of us get it open. Spent 10 minutes in frustration. Tried calling the host but only got voicemail (fair enough, she was at trivia). We were about to leave when we decided to take a look at the house next door and that was the actual property! It had no number on it and the sign saying it was the Lodge was obscured by trees, even in daylight. Just need to give people a heads up it is the LEFT hand property. Apart from that, it was a lovely place!

Thank you. - I brought our own breakfast but everything I needed was available - milk, bowls, cutlery, etc. I particularly liked the way everything has been thought of and provided for - jigsaws, books, sensor lights, privacy, etc. There is no parking out the front so we had to park down the road a little and walk up with all our luggage.
