- Melvin (10/5): - Staff were very friendly, welcoming and attentive. The food was fantastic and they worked hard to accommodate some food allergies and sensitivities. It was a very quiet and peaceful place. Slippers were a bit small for larger feet.
- Jay (10/5): - The staff were amazing and so helpful. Dinner was delicious and very filling with plenty of choice.
The facilities were very clean.

- Aleksandr (7/5): - Comfortable Ryokan. Very polite and helpful staff. Traditional dinner and breakfast were large but not really tasty. Maybe it's just our preferences.

- Dana (6/5): - The staff were amazing and so accommodating to request and we loved the private onsen bath I learned I will upgrade my next ryokan to not having a shared bathroom. Also, we were told that during breakfast, the beds would be put up so we could use the room for the day. However, the beds were still out after breakfast and stayed out until the end of our two night/3 day stay
- Pansy (7/5): We enjoyed the dinner and breakfast very much - The snow crab dinner Onsen was a bit small

- Aika (9/5): -
- Justin Andre (8/5): - The dinner was amazing
I like the concept of private bath Room did not have its own bath
Schedule of private bath is only one (two is preferred)
Limited slots for japanese style breakfast

- Juenlee (7/5): We had a wonderful experience and would recommend this place to everyone. - Food was very good and everyone had plenty to eat. Staff were very nice. Location was close to the main onsens. By the evening, fuel smell was uncomfortable in the hallway and then into the room. We were not given a choice of the two rooms. I would have chosen the larger room for the elder members of the group.
- EDYTA (7/5): It’s ok. - - good location, next to one of the onsens
- great dinner It’s a pleasant place, but not outstanding. overpriced for what they offer. Be careful with what you are booking, some cheaper rooms have no private toilet (it is shared with 3 other rooms on your floor, but toilet was very clean).
The rooms haven’t been updated in a while.
- John (10/5): Great stay at this traditional ryokan in Kinosakionsen. - This is a great, traditional ryokan in Kinosakionsen. It’s right across from the ropeway and within easy walking distance to all the onsens. The staff were kind and helpful and the evening dinners were incredible. We really enjoyed staying here. Would recommend if you’re looking for a traditional, no frills ryokan experience. The rooms are a bit dated, but this is a traditional ryokan so we expected this and we weren’t bothered by it. I would recommend this hotel if you’re looking for a ryokan in Kinosakionsen.

- koichi (7/5): -
- Michael (10/5): Unbelievably nice at this price point and in a super convenient location! - Unbelievable quality at a location next door to the Nara train station. I was flabbergasted by the quality of the construction in the room at this price point.

- okazaki (8/5): -
- Nuttanun (10/5): - Nice location / good service
- Yann (10/5): - Tout Rien
- Carmen (8/5): Wonderful way to experience a traditional stay that is well priced for what you receive. - Really lovely traditional Japanese inn experience. The meals onsite were delicious and huge, staff was kind and the building charming. Some may prefer a more centralized inn for visiting the onsens, though the town is so small and walkable it’s not an issue.
- TATSUYA (9/5): -
- Marc (8/5): Charming Ryokan, next to the Ropeway and Onsen. - A Charming Ryokan with Japanese Style Rooms. If you want the authenthic Onsen Experience you can't go wrong.
The food was incredible. The Staff was very eager to help, even with communication difficulty.
The Ryokan is right next to 2 Onsen, and only 10min walk from the other Kinosaki Onsen. There is a shuttle from the Trainstation to the Ryokan as well so getting there is easy. Like in all Japanese style beds - you have to be comfortable with Futon, which can be much harder than european style beds. I would have liked to have a bit of a thicker futon, as the standard one was a bit too thin and hard. (to be fair I have not asked for an extra futon - I would assume it would have been provided if I did)
- Janie (10/5): A relaxing and enjoyable experience. - The room, private bath, attentive and kind staff. The dinner was a little too much fish as we didn't eat meat. Not enough vegetables and too much fish.
- Kayla (9/5): - Breakfast was amazing, and the private bath was nice. Located next to one of the big bath houses, as well as being in walking distance of the others, this ryokan was an excellent place to stay.
- HEITA (10/5): -
- Greta (10/5): -
- Astrid (8/5): Una experiencia genial!
- Gabriel (10/5): This was a five star treatment with gourmet meals and some of the most comfortable sleep I’ve ever had. I was pleasantly - Five star treatment. I could not recommend this more. That we had to leave
- Saray (10/5): -
- Fiona (9/5): - The food and service were amazing! A little far from the station

- Sandra (10/5): Best Ryokan! - I love love love the staff! They were so nice and easy to talk to! Nothing. I loved the Ryokan so much
- Kayoko (8/5): -
- Yiu Pun (8/5): Good and value for money - Both dinner and breakfast are very good . We stay for 2 nights and have 2 different variety of food for dinner and breakfast. Nothing .
- Yi ying (9/5): -
- KAWASAKI (7/5): -
- John Michael (7/5): -
- Sylvia2222 (10/5): -
- Vira (8/5): A small & cozy ryokan with friendly & helpful staff - The staff are friendly & helpful!
A shuttle bus from the train station will take you right in front of the hotel (or you’ll need to walk for 15 mins) & they’ll provide voucher to cook egg in the shop across as well as the pass to visit all onsen places (there were 4/6 available during our visits). The hotel comes with free yukata (and japanese jacket) & a basket for you to carry around. You can also rent a pretty yukata for 1000 jpy. Dinner & breakfast (at cafe across the street) are provided (delicious!) & free private bath.
We really enjoy our stay there, lovely town with great places to eat & shop! Also a great hike up to Mt Daishi. There’s a smell that’s of a mix of food & old, indicating the age of the hotel.
It’ll be great if they put nice scents to improve the smell & overall vibes in the bedroom & along the hallway.
Hairdryer in private bath really needs an upgrade.
- John (7/5): A good value option with a friendly welcome and excellent food - Location, informal
Nature , food A little basic
- Pierre (8/5): Peut mieux faire.
