• Crisell (8/5): Great value for money and well thought out layout from another residence - Very close to Maroochydore centre and easy access and parking. The bathroom was lovely and very light filled. The bedroom was a little cramped but very well appointed.

But eating inside was awkward, with only a second fold up chair provided eventually found. Took a while to work Microwave out, no instructions provided.

• Perks (8/5): Great for our business trip we were in transit so perfect. - The room and property were great - loved having the private courtyard Just felt not as private as there is a door between the appt and the main house (right next to the bedroom)

• Laurie (3/5): Not value for money. - Not a great deal. Was self catering, but very uncomfortable. The property was advertised as entire "apartment " but there was no table, chairs, couch, nowhere to even sit inside other than the bed. Expected to eat at the outdoor table except it rained buckets our whole stay. We ended up on patio chairs in bathroom and eating there. It was the only space available. Look around, better value elsewhere.

• Rita (9/5): Very lovely apartment set up with everything you need - Beautifully presented with everything you need. It was very humid and AC was noisy. Bed was not comfortable for my liking

• Marie (9/5): Lovely overnight accommodation. So clean and peaceful. - Such a quiet peaceful and comfortable location away from the busy coast tourist area yet close to amenities. The WiFi worked well and lovely toiletries were supplied. A sheet with directions to grocery shop eg IGA and emergency amenities would be useful and a few microwave containers would be helpful. The kitchenette uses the available space effectively - the lack of a table to eat at was awkward although the good weather meant it was lovely to eat at the outside table. A foldaway extension would help but might not be possible for safe exit.

• Renee (8/5): A lovely clean property with good amenities & would be perfect for a mature couple wanting privacy. - Location was a convenient short drive to everything; easy to find the property & instructions for lock box etc. were good. The facilities were fantastic - kitchen had everything you needed; bathroom had plenty of toiletries & towels etc. Overall cleanliness was also spotless. A very comfortable stay! Sound-proofing form adjoining private residence was a little awkward. The property is located in residential streets so it's lacking a beach holiday vibe. But it's still a good location. You'd want to drive to the beach, not walk, even though it's not far.

• Isabella (10/5): A wonderful peaceful and comfortable stay. Truly a home away from home 😊 I would definitely recommend Coastal Escape. - I absolutely loved the ground coffee and the water fountain feature. There was nothing to not like, everything was wonderful. Gaye provided everything that you could need for your stay and she was also checking in via message to check on you if you were ok and comfortable.

• Aryn (10/5): - Beautiful little space on a nice quiet street. 3-5 minute drive from pretty much everywhere I wanted to go. Very comfortable bed and loved the big shower and bathtub. The owners are also very friendly and accommodating. Nothing.

The only thing I needed was a good long night sleep. But I was woken up before 8am by jackhammer under the bedroom window. If I knew I wouldn't book the place.

• Rose (10/5): Comfortable, beautiful and quiet. - For a motel style of accommodation, this place was fantastic. The bed was extremely comfortable, having a bath as well as a shower was a luxury. The bath soak supplied was so beautiful and all the bathroom products were amazing. Even the towels supplied as well as the linen on the bed was of top quality. The little extras supplied were very much appreciated and the fresh lemons from the garden were great! We had the best night's sleep in quite a while, thankyou!

• G (7/5): Comfortable, boarding style accommodation - Lovely bathroom with bath, nice amenities and well appointed with all the bits and pieces you might need Sound insulation - the small space is part of a residential house with poor sound insulation and feels like staying at someone’s house, can easily hear each other … noise wasn’t actually an issue though with mindful hosts and was nice lying in bath after 8 days camping in bush hearing someone play a few nice tunes on an acoustic guitar next door.

• Diane (8/5): Great overnight stay - Loved the extras like the bathroom products, fresh flowers on bedside table, great variety of hot drinks, bed had fresh linen, towels were lush, kitchen had all the essentials. Sadly I did notice a few neglected areas which was a bit disappointing as everything till then was fab. The kitchen sink had gunk in it, first plate I found had food on it and the bedhead had a long hair( mine is short) and dead moth on it. Also you are connected to the main house and you hear EVERY noise.

From the moment I arrived, I could tell the place was well-maintained and spotlessly clean. The attention to detail was evident in every corner, which made me feel instantly at home. One of the best things about this place is how quiet it is—perfect for a peaceful getaway or just some downtime to unwind. It’s situated in a very convenient location with easy access, which made getting around a breeze. The room itself was super comfortable, with everything I needed for a relaxing stay. The bed was cozy, the bathroom pristine. It's clear that the hosts have thought of everything, from small touches to essential amenities, ensuring you don’t have to worry about anything. I wouldn't hesitate to stay again. If you’re looking for a clean, comfortable, and quiet place with everything you need, this is definitely the spot!
• Karen (6/5): Not really what we were looking for. - Cleanliness, had everything you needed supplied such as tea, coffee, fridge and microwave. Very nice bathroom. Handy location and fairly quiet. Would be good for an overnight stay for one person. I didn’t realise it was basically just a bedroom. There was nowhere to sit besides the bed or a chair at a small desk. We stood in the laundry to eat a snack which was not comfortable. There was an outdoor table but it was raining.

We had had to change our arrival date because of cyclone Alfred and our host was most accommodating. The fragrance device in the bedroom was a little overpowering for someone with allergies.

Need another kitchen chair (fold up type would do) to use in inclement weather. The dining facility is barely adequate. Is it hygienic to wash dishes/ cutlery in a wash tub next to washing machine that’s probably used for smalls/ undies etc? Perhaps a washing up dish could be provided. A little over decorated with Nick Knacks taking up limited bench space

The bed was incredibly comfortable, making it perfect for a relaxing getaway. Having Netflix available was definitely a plus! Ideal for a few days of rest and relaxation. Highly recommend!
