• Eleanor (10/5): Truly a Little Sweetie - It was exceptionally clean with modern fittings. Accessibility was good, we were able to park the car at the foot of the steps to the front door which was good for our 95 year old friend. There was nothing we disliked.

• Roy (7/5): Great little cottage with one bathroom in good location - Good location and cosy cottage. It is well-equipped and would be ideal for a couple. The host was helpful and responsive. The booking is listed as having two bathrooms, which is why we booked it, but there is only one bathroom and an additional toilet outside the property. Being only 5° currently going outside during the night was not an option.
• Siew Tin (10/5): - We have a great experience for our stay. Oamaru Heritage Precinct is worth to take one to two hours to walk around. Bought a ticket to see Oamaru penguins is a must do event. Thanks Katrina to let us parked our car at their apartment after checkout.

We were only sorry that we could not stay longer and enjoy the ambience of this gorgeous property. The hand written welcome note was a nice touch. Next visit it will definitely be on our list. Nothing to not like. There was only one bathroom but another toilet off the laundry so it worked for the 4 of us.

• Chun (9/5): Modern & New house at the little hill top - The "Little Sweetie" house is located near the wharf and restaurants, just a walking distance away. The house looks new, and the interior is also well-designed and modern. It consists of two bedrooms, a sizable kitchen, and a dining area. We like the balcony, which has a big table and four chairs; you can enjoy a good view of part of the sea. The kitchen is well-equipped with all the essentials. Both beds are soft and comfortable to sleep on, and there's a separate living room that looks great and is spacious. There are also two common toilets available, so we didn't need to queue and wait. No shampoo provide.

• Di (10/5): A fabulous stay near everything - We loved everything about this property. There were three of us, so to have an extra toilet was a bonus. I personally loved the Ashley + Co reed diffuser in the bathroom (sometimes the little things are the things we remember). The property had everything we needed, even ice in the freezer. The view from the decking was fabulous overlooking the ocean. The property was within walking distance of everything we wanted to see. It was really quiet overnight so sleeping was a breeze. It was lovely to have windows that opened to get in fresh air. Honestly there was nothing not to love. I would absolutely recommend this property to anyone, you will not be disappointed. The lack of hand towel and hand wash/soap in the laundry, where the second toilet is, but I believe this will be addressed.

• Fran (9/5): Absolutely loved our stay and highly recommend! - Very comfortable and warm. Location is perfect, we were able to walk everywhere. Lovely to be able to see the beautiful old part of town and the ocean from the deck and lounge. The house has everything we needed, will save it as a favourite for our next trip down. Thank you very much :)! Curtains in the back bedroom aren’t keeping much light out.

Place was spotless, comfortable, modern and thoughtfully prepared with all the details that made our stay extra enjoyable and memorable. There is a private spacious parking and a well done up clean garden. It is also located nearby town with minimal traffic. Overall a wonderful experience and we would happily return and recommend to others. Thanks Margaret for the personal note! Only had 1 bathroom for 4 adults.

There was only a very small problem: the lightbulb in the living room seemed to have blown. But the owner replied immediately and suggested that we move the lamp in the front bedroom to the living room so that we could have adequate light and it worked!

Beds were super comfy, had everything we needed, would stay here again & cannot recommend highly enough. Had dinner at The Last Post just down the road, highly recommend going here for a meal, food was awesome, staff attentive & had a very cosy feel about the place. Only thing which I was disappointed with was the dryer, we did 1 load of washing while there, then used the dryer following the instructions the owners had left, however our entire load shrunk after being dried, not sure if we did something wrong, but the clothes we dried have not been able to wear since as too small.

It was also close and walkable to places we wanted to explore, like the Victorian Precinct, Steampunk HQ and the blue penguin colony viewing. The host was very friendly and responsive, gave us great dinner recommendations, and even left us a warm welcoming note with a delicious welcoming snack. Nothing!
