Guest Reviews
- Catherine (5/5): - It was a beautiful location. Property could do with some maintenance. For instance both bathroom doors were faulty and could not close quietly, especially at night for those who needed to use the bathroom. The bins were not collected which caused a smell at the front of the property and in particular one of the bedroom windows. We also had to clean up on the day of our arrival since the birds tore through some of the bags.
- Amanda (8/5): Pleasant stay in the beautiful highland hills - Lots of rooms, plenty space. They have utilised some space in the 3rd bedroom for an extra toilet which is super handy when there is 9 people staying in one house. Lack of condiments and cleaning items. Usual staples you would expect: salt, pepper, ketchup, kitchen roll etc
- Nicholle (10/5): - This house suited our party of 9 well. It was comfortable and cosy, beds were good and kitchen was well catered. Great views from the upstairs deck. Convenient location with cafe and shop within walking distance. Great base to explore Glencoe and the Scottish highlands.
- Jonathan (8/5): - Perfect property for exploring the highlands. Tracey our host was very accessible throughout our stay and was most helpful with any queries/issues.
- Gemma Chipman (9/5): - Excellent location, home from home accommodation and beautiful views. Just two little things one was the toaster didn't stay down so had to hold it down until toast was done and the TV didn't work however this didn't spoil our stay at all and we still had a wonderful time.
- Paula (8/5): Very good -
- Heather (7/5): Good -
- Debbie (2/5): Very poor -
- Niranjani (10/5): Best Christmas in Glencoe - Tracey was an amazing host. She was so thoughtful and since we stayed during Christmas, she left treats for our girls under the tree. The house is very cosy and the bathroom looks recently done and there was ample hot water for all 8 of us.
The location is also great, you have the Glencoe mountains on your right, (15 mins) and Fort Williams and Ben Navis on your left (30 mins). The view from the property is to die for! Nothing it was a great experience. Only feedback would be it would be great if there were some scrubbers and dishwashing pods at the property so we don't make a mess.
- Gregg (8/5): A lovely property boasting excellent facilities and perfectly located in the Western Highlands - The property is in an excellent location, extremely close to major road links but not noisy at all. There are many lovely views on the doorstep and close to local amenities. 25 minutes drive from Fort William for larger shops and services.
The cottage has very good facilities inside and the new rooftop space is lovely to relax on with views to the North across Loch Leven. Adequate space for a large group to stay and suited our needs perfectly as a base for climbing Ben Nevis. The garden would benefit from a little maintenance, some minor furnishings inside are dated and skirting boards in the kitchen hallway need to be fitted properly as there is a slight overhang near the doors. Nothing that detracts from the quaint location and value of the property.
- Marilyn (8/5): Large unit in great location, just don’t expect a higher end interior space. - Great location, very convenient to the A82 and all the hiking. Host was very responsive to all issues. The quality of the fixtures and finishes were of lower quality whereas a higher quality interior finish would have made the stay more comfortable and would have been more appropriate to the price point of the unit.
- Lars (8/5): Very good - Very Nice place. Lovely house. A lot of Wasps in the house. Think they came through the lamp in one of the toilettes. Possibly from the attic. This was not seen as a problem for us though.
