Michelle the cottage manager was so helpful and made sure we had everything we needed, from weather updates, to local activities and even made sure we had enough solar energy on cloudy days. The cottage is so well equipped with everything you need. The pantry was stocked, lovely rusks on arrival. We would have loved to have stayed so much longer. Views are stunning and close to town , restaurants and activities. Will definitely revisit!

Super comfortable as well with many areas where you can relax or socialise. The host went above and beyond to make us feel at home as we celebrated our anniversary. We were welcomed with a beautiful cheeseboard, a heartfelt message, and champagne on arrival. These thoughtful touches made our anniversary truly unforgettable. We would love to go back.

- Nikisha (8/5): Cosy Cabin - Clean and tidy cabin. It has all your appliances. WiFi worked well, no signal issues. Invertor and back up generator. Plenty of dishes, pots, kitchen utensils. The host communicated throughout the stay, very hospitality and gave some good recommendations on activities in the area. The shower was warm. Need lighting at braai area.
- Mac (8/5): Stay was excellent. It was cold in Underberg, but the cabin was well stocked with wood and lighters. - I didn't like that there was no change of towels or bedding throughout the four day stay.
- Cassandra (9/5): I would definitely choose Fireside Cabin again in a heartbeat if I needed accommodation in Underberg - Loved the fact that we had two rooms, the place to ourselves, with enough space to be in for the four days. The kitchen was well stocked with all that we needed and the complementary rusks were so delicious I had to get some more in Underberg to take home. Some coasters for the lounge and a pair of washing up gloves would have been great, but other than that it was a fabulous stay.
