Guest Reviews

- Navajith (5/5): Passable -
- Divyanathan (1/5): In total it was a disaster choosing Thesula valley, I wouldnt recommend any one going with family - Absolutely there is nothing we liked after we stayed in this property 1) Reaching this property itself was a mess (no name boards or directions available)
2) There was a miscommunication between booking.com and the property management (is what we have been told), no prior intimation about our arrival, so no room arrangements were made. We were asked to wait for 30mins along with 2 year old kid. It was very uncomfortable and frustrating experience (after a tiering day)
3) There was no proper kitchen facility and it was not informed that we have to order food in advance. After reaching the property around 7PM they took our order and got food from outside.
4) No proper management rooms, kitchen, cleanliness and even location (its situated at one remote place you can't find even a grocery store near by)
- Christina (2/5): Very average - Not much It looks spacious in the picture but it is not and the bedrooms are not clean. BASIC facilities are not available like water and tea. Very unclean rooms. It is not value for money at all.
- Amanulla (9/5): Superb -
- Sam (5/5): Not good…not worth even for the money we pay.. - View is just fine…other than that it’s was located very remote in Kodaikanal Room was not clean and I don’t think they cleaned the room before handing over to another guest…
- Madhur (1/5): Overall,my stay was extremely disappointing due to the poor cleanliness, bad odors, and unprofession - The location and property are good, but the management is lacking. The conditions are very unhygienic, making it unsuitable for families and couples. It is not recommended for a comfortable stay. This place is a complete waste of money. I chose this property based on the pictures, but in reality, it is maintained in very poor condition. The cleanliness is terrible, and it is unhygienic. The bed sheets and blankets have a foul odor, like socks. The bunk bed is very dirty, with spiders and too many flies. The entire bunk bed area has a shocking smell, likes shocks. It seems nobody cleans it. The staff are also unhelpful and unprofessional. It is not recommended for a comfortable stay.
- Archana (7/5): Good - Nice property but breakfast is not included.Charges are quite high
- Krati (2/5): Very poor -
- Sangeeta (3/5): Poor - Location. Chef made well veg items but non veg wasn't good The sink was not clean in the common dining area.flies in the room.
- Rajat (1/5): Worst stay - Nothing Everything , No ventilation in room , no cleanliness , No food , heavily over priced

- Poornima (8/5): Very good -
- Gowtham (10/5): Exceptional - The location was very good. A short drive from the city but the views were breathtaking. We were a group of 4 female travelling from another city. The property was easy to locate and the staffs were very accommodating to all our requests. Would definitely recommend to everyone. The loft beds did not have much ventilation. A small fan would be great.
- Saravan (2/5): Poor service and no cleanliness - Location No cleanliness, poor service
- Ganna (3/5): Poor -
- De (10/5): My Experience at Thesula Valley - The stay is amazing, off beat and awesome view of mountains The kitchen can be made accessible to all guests for making tea, coffee, maggi etc as there are no shops/ restaurants available nearby at walking distance. However, the caretaker would fetch all the necessary items for you before 6.30pm, as it gets dark after that.
- Choudhary (8/5): Very good - For emergency food purpose it was really good. Need to intimate at night so that arrangements for breakfast can be done next day.
- Vivi (9/5): Superb -
- Panner (7/5): Good -
- Joseph (7/5): Good - The way to guest house is full of ups and down and found difficult to reach there. But once I reached there I felt lot more relaxed with good mountain view and good ambience. The staffs were supportive. The roads is not good , need to widen the road a little bit. Need sign boards to direct to that place.
