- Dean (9/5): Lovely cottage in a beautiful village. - The cottage was very well maintained, lots of character, homely and comfortable. Lovely spacious bathroom with high quality fittings . Highly recommend. It’s hard to find anything to dislike, but we did notice there was little hanging space for our clothes.

- Terry (9/5): A superb cottage in a really lovely town - A beautiful old property with all the modern amenities The Blythe cottage sign could be a bit more conspicuous
- Marise (10/5): Had a lovely stay in Long Melford - The house was lovely, very well situated on the high street. The bed was comfy and the bedding top end. The bathroom was also lovely, very spacious with a nice bath and shower. Parking wasn’t an issue for us. Communication was good with Caroline. On arrival, bread, milk, butter and jam were available as were tea and coffee which was appreciated. Lovely little town to wander around and the Hygge cafe opposite did a good breakfast. Nothing
- William (10/5): Fabulous cottage, I would definitely recommend it! - Property was in a great location, very central & we managed to park right outside the door, which was great. The owner very generously left us a welcome pack of milk, bread, butter, jam & some nibbles, which was unexpected & very gratefully receiced.
Property is very tastefully decorated, bed was very comfortable with lovely "White Company" linen. everthing was as advertised & described in the details online.
- Cheryl (10/5): Cottage was outstanding in all aspects - Fantastic all round no complaints at all
- Nicola (9/5): Highly enjoyable. - The location could not be better. The cottage is close to a wide variety of eateries, walks and activities. It is very well-equipped and stylishly decorated, including some lovely art work. The view from the kitchen window is very nice - I saw a quite unusual moth there (outside) the other day.
- Willem (10/5): Perfecte lokatie - Alles klopt gewoon
- Sheila (9/5): -
- Shaun (10/5): Exceptional -
- Carmela (9/5): Exceptional. - A beautiful, stylish property with access to a patio garden. It was a good sized property for a couple of friends. The owners were very accommodating about secure bike storage. Excellent locality to explore, with a few local pubs, and amenities within walking distance of the cottage. The provision of breakfast items was a lovely bonus, thank-you.
- Jemckay (9/5): Leisurely days in Long Melford - We loved the charming cottage and back terrace. We really appreciated the welcome breakfast hamper, very thoughtful of the hosts. Good quality linen and towels. Surprised that the cutlery and glasses were not sparkling clean on arrival. We had to put them through the dishwasher before using.
- Kirk (9/5): Superb -
- Diana (10/5): A wonderful stay in a beautiful place - A lovely place in a great location. The hosts were very helpful and the milk and breakfast items were a lovely touch. I think it’s helpful to be aware that the bathroom is off one of the bedrooms and there isn’t a washing machine. Neither of which was a problem for us and I had picked up reading other reviews.
- Andrew (10/5): Exceptional - Very clean & comfortable accommodation. Very comfy beds & a lovely kitchen to cook in. Couldn’t find a fault
- Emily (9/5): Luxury cottage in a beautiful Suffolk town - The cottage was beautifully decorated, immaculately clean and cosy.
The bed was very comfortable and the linen and towels had a real luxury feel.
The cottage had everything we needed for a weekend away and bread, butter, marmalades and milk were provided which was a nice added bonus.
The bathroom was amazing! Big freestanding bath and large shower.
Long Melford is a lovely quaint town with several pubs, shops and cafes and a perfect starting point to explore Sussex. Nothing, we had a wonderful stay.
- Lesley (9/5): Excellent in all ways. -
- Ronald (7/5): Pleasant, Shame about these small issues - N/A No washing machine, no outside waste bins. Little cutlery.
- Becky (10/5): Exceptional - Lovely cottage, very clean. The breakfast food included was a lovely surprise Not a negative but if we had to pick something to improve it would be nice to have a blind on the upstairs hall window over the stairs
- Rob (10/5): Great Place To Stay - Location was ideal as it was close to a site we were working on. The lockbox on the front door was easy to access. The house was tidy with basics like bread and milk provided. The owners suggested a few places to eat. Couldn't have asked for any more. Nothing. The place was excellent.
- Anonymous (10/5): Wonderful relaxed homely cottage stay. - It was warm and comfortable and very spacious for the two of us. Spotlessly clean and the little attention to detail like bread and butter etc was a lovely touch. The only thing I could say is I couldn’t find any oven gloves which I would have preferred but that’s very very minor.
- Amanda (10/5): Would throughly recommend. - Beautifully decorated, and excellent location. N/a
- Gordon (8/5): Really nice place ideal for couple or family. Great location. -
- Robbie (10/5): Exceptional -
- Julia (9/5): Lovely cottage and perfect location for exploring the area - Great location Bathroom being off the other bedroom
- Elisabeth (8/5): See above. - It was excellent for a weekend away, but see below. Would have been helpful to have a clearer idea , maybe an exterior photo or “opposite the PO” for those of us without sat nav!
