- Andrea Dell'Orto (10/5): A hidden gem in George! - Nested in a safe and quiet area just one road away from the forest but still close to the more vibrant city centre, Lavender Grove's location is ideal for anyone looking for both restful times and more active days. Miguel and Sanet created an exceptionally comfortable space in their spacious garden cottage, and our stay was excellent. Our hosts made sure that the house was clean and well furnished, and even gave us tips about which access gate to use to get into the forest trails! We also had a special request regarding our dog needing an independent space, and our lovely hosts made sure that to accommodate it, giving us access to the full front garden. We will definitely be back at Lavender Grove! We did not like... that we could not stay for longer! :)

- Quicke (9/5): This one is special! - An upmarket, modern apartment.It is tastefully and thoughtfully furnished. The spaciousness makes it a luxurious stay. It has a quiet large fridge and freezer which is often absent in many BNBs. This one is special!

I have never ever imagined to find a place such as Lavender Grove. Most amazing, friendly and tentative host. Beautiful apartment. Every detail carefully considered. Modern with a touch of warmth, extremely clean, spacious, solar, safe, homely. Property itself, in a fantastic upperclass neighbourhood. Electric gates. Perfect parking. Just stunning. I have already booked in advance for my business trip for next year. I am honestly in awe. Being a neat freak and expecting value for money, Lavender Grove superseded every expectation. Cant miss the Lavenders at the entrance. Beautiful , neat as a pin. Inviting garden with border trees and birds chirping. Thank you once again for my amazing stay.

- Snyman (9/5): A nice one or two night stop over between Cape Town and Port Elizabeth - The location felt safe and secure, and close enough to town, for shopping and entertainment. Close to the mountain range, which is visible from the parking area. As it is self catering, a small braai area would be nice. A small bench in the bathroom close to the basin would be handy to put toiletry bags on.
