• Stephanie (9/5): Great location and great host! Very clean and a comfortable bed! - Our host, Nunzio, was fantastic! If we needed anything, all we had to do was ask, and he provided it. The location was centrally located and we could walk everywhere. We would have liked a closet or drawers to put our clothes in. I asked our host for some hangers, and he brought them the next day along with a rolling rack to put the clothes on which we really appreciated.
• Kevin (9/5): - Big room in a nice property close to the centre of Palermo. The host was very hospitable and gave us plenty of information. Can be noisy at the weekend and it's paid parking, which is difficult sometimes to find a spot.

Nunzio was extremely welcoming, warm and helpful with anything we needed/any questions we had. The place itself was spotless and the bed was one of the best beds I've ever slept in. It's also incredibly beautiful with a new/old charm to it. The breakfast in the morning in the cafe across the street was also excellent and the people working there are very friendly

• Ellen (10/5): Perfetto! A wonderful stay, I recommend this to anyone. - 10/10 experience at Soste Normanne! A beautiful hotel, lovely design and very clean. It has a calm vibe. The ceilings are tall and beautifully painted. It is reminiscent of a traditional Sicilian townhouse. It is located in a prime, central safe location - the Centro Storico and Port are under ten minutes walk way. The hotel is very secure as it is situated behind a locked gate, good for solo women travellers. The owner is so kind, friendly and hospitable. He is easy to contact and is flexible. I will absolutely stay again. I recommend this place to anyone! Nothing, it was perfect! Grazie :)

• CRISTINA (10/5): - Está en el centro de Palermo, pero en una zona tranquila. Está a unos diez minutos andando de la mayoría de monumentos y sitios de interés. El alojamiento es precioso y Nunzio, el dueño, es muy amable y está pendiente de si necesitas cualquier cosa en todo momento. Totalmente recomendable. Si vuelvo a Palermo me volveré a alojar en Soste Normanne.
• Elpidio (9/5): Consigliato - Ottima posizione, poco distante dal centro storico, una bella camera sapientemente restaurata, con recupero delle porte, dei meccanismi di chiusura e delle pavimentazioni. Una bella volta decorata in una camera ampia con ogni accessorio e ben illuminata, anche con un bel lampadario, dotata di un sufficiente numero di prese e porte usb accanto ai comodini. Bagno nuovo, grande, con finestrino, ben arredato, ben illuminato e ampia doccia. Un bel ripiano sotto lo specchio utile per poggiare piccole cose, così come lo spazio in legno ai lati del lavabo. Parcheggio in strada nelle strisce blu ad 1 euro all' ora dalle 8 alle 14 e dalle 16 alle 20. Gratuito la notte. Siamo riusciti sempre a trovare un posto auto nelle immediate vicinanze. In mancanza vi è un garage coperto a pochi passi. Apprezzabile la colazione di qualità, con dolce e cappuccino nel bar posto di fronte, pulito e ben fornito anche con dolci tipici della tradizione locale. Il proprietario gentile e premuroso si è reso disponibile ad ogni nostra richiesta e ci ha deliziato con un bel cesto di frutta di stagione. Comodi i sistemi di apertura automatici del cancello e delle porte interne. Apprezzato il piccolo spazio nel cortile esterno con sedie e tavolini. Comodo anche il lavello ed il frigo con congelatore in ambiente comune , oltre al minifrigo presente in camera. In definitiva lo consiglio anche per il buon rapporto qualità prezzo. Il bagno in camera con la tenda al posto della porta. La pulizia ed il riassetto della camera a giorni alterni.
• Anja (9/5): Absolut empfehlenswert! - Die Lage ist top! In 10-15' erreicht man alles Sehenswerte und ist schnell in der Fussgängermeile. Die Bushaltestellen sind ebenfalls in unmittelbarer Nähe. Der Gastgeber war sehr zuvorkommend und der persönliche Kontakt war ihm sehr wichtig. Das haben wir sehr geschätzt! Danke Nunzio! Unser Zimmer und die Anlage an sich waren sehr gepflegt. Alles was man braucht, ist vorhanden. Das Frühstück nimmt man in einem Kaffee nebenan ein (Cappucchino und Croissant). Einziger kleiner Kritikpunkt: Hellhörigkeit. Man hört sehr gut was drinnen und draussen geschieht.

Molto comoda la posizione, a poche centinaia di metri dal porto, praticamente su via Roma, dove passano continuamente autobus per la stazione, a pochi passi dal centro storico, centrale ma allo stesso tempo molto tranquillo.
• Buemi (7/5): Deluxe room in Palermo - The location was great. Very good spot. Supermarkets, clothing shops, bars, buses. There was everything I needed around. The owner was very kind and also professional. He picked me up at the train station, he helped me with my luggage and he showed me around the arbnb, and he wanted to make sure that I was ok with the place and my room. The room was very nice. The bed is very comfy and I liked the decorations around it. The bathroom is very big, especially the shower. Unfortunately there were a few things I was disappointed about. First there wasn't a physical and good hairdryer. When I called him, asking where it was the hairdryer, he said that every room has it and it was in the bathroom hanging on the wall. I've never seen a hairdryer like that and I doubt it was and it is a hairdryer. It looked more like a hand dryer, one of those you find in a common toilet but with a long hose. I struggled for 2 days to dry my hair and If I knew before that it was like that, I could bring mine. I understand that the place is quite new, and the owner is doing some work and renovations, but the hairdryer is essential, especially if the cost of the room for 2 nights is 120, but there is not much you can use. Secondly, the front door was too exposed to the street even though there was a security gate. The room was called deluxe, but deluxe for me is another thing. There weren't windows inside the room except one in the bathroom. If opened I don't think I could see the street, but the other rooms or a wall, so I decided to keep shut it. There weren't enough hand soaps and shower gel. Basics things missed. Imagine if for 2 days I have to bring with me all the essentials I need, just for 2 days?!?

• Ramona (9/5): From historic roofs and tiles to modern comfort and disco shower - Soste Normanne has it all - Where antique meets modern - Soste Normanne is a modernly refurbished ancient romano-greek villa in the heart of Palermo. The restorated roof paintings and floor tiles take you back in time, while the modern comfort, bathroom and lighting adds a touch of luxury. Very good AC, which helped us cool down during the heatwave (40 degrees!). The host Nunzio was incredibly kind and helpful, ensuring we had a great experience during our stay. The included italian breakfast was a nice addition. Noise from the streets (a natural implication of the location in Palermo’s city centre).

• Aphra (10/5): Wonderful hosts and wonderful place to stay - Hosts were lovely and very helpful with advice on things to do around Palermo. Communication with them was very easy. Location is central to all the sights and close to nice restaurants. Rooms have been newly renovated and are extremely comfortable, modern with all the conveniences you need. Highly recommend for anyone coming to Palermo!
