Guest Reviews
- Nicole (7/5): -
- Ali (7/5): - Loved the style and comfort. Would have liked a larger sofa. Clearer directions to go round the back.
- Ruth (7/5): - The location was great for getting to the Christie. Beds were very comfortable and the apartment was nice and warm. The kitchen was well stocked with crockery and cooking equipment, some tea and coffee too. Responsive host. The access felt a little dodgy: unlit passageway, barbed wire over the back gate. The hob ignition wasn't working.
- Marie (8/5): Really enjoyed, would consider staying again, lots of space, kids loved it, good beds and facilities - Good location, plenty of space for kids to play, warm and able to connect to WiFi for any devices. Shops and takeaways close by, as was bus route and tram only a short walk. Family friendly, bathrooms modern and good showers. Back entrance was a bit unwelcoming
- Towela (10/5): - comfy beautiful property wish we stayed longer location was abit difficult to find for ubers and delivery’s
- Alanna Molly (9/5): Excellent! 100% would stay again! - We stayed here as a group of six friends and really enjoyed our time. The Airbnb is located just outside Manchester City in Withington, which was great because it was much quieter but still had loads of shops and food places nearby. Everything you really need. It was also really easy to get into the city, around a 10–15 minute Uber drive.
The host was fantastic with communication. Always quick to reply. We had a small issue with the Wi-Fi and it was fixed straight away, which we really appreciated. Very kind and helpful overall.
Finding the entrance was a little confusing at first, as you have to go around the back of the building to a gate with the apartment number. There are two ways in: walking up the open street past The Moon restaurant (the easier way), or through a small lane located at the front of the buildings, straight across from Subway. The lane can be dark and unfortunately a bit smelly with some flooding at the start, but the light does turn on as soon as you step in.
The apartment itself was super cosy, warm and very clean, with comfy beds and good showers. The only slight downsides were that there were only two small couches for six people, which weren’t the most comfortable, and the bed sheets didn’t have buttons or zips at the bottom so they slipped out easily.
Overall though, we had a lovely stay. a great place for a quiet break while still being close to Manchester City. I would definitely stay again!!
- BIJOY (10/5): Well maintained accommodation - Excellent location. Nil
- Laverne (9/5): Very clean and comfortable apartment - Clean and exactly what we needed at short notice Nothing major. The only thing to
Mention is that it has 3 double beds so sleeps 6, but there were only 4 mugs
Also could do with a back door light as very dark to get the key into the lock
- Nikolas (7/5): nice apartment - pleasant surroundings, away from the big city hustle and bustle yet with an urban vibe and plenty of restaurants and cafés nearby; the bus takes you quickly and conveniently to the city center. spacious and well-equipped apartment. thank you for allowing us to check out an hour later. minor imperfections: in the upstairs bathroom, the drain didn’t work properly, so everyone ended up using only one bathroom for showering. there weren’t enough towels available. there was a problem with the heating system, but it was resolved quickly.

- Victoria (9/5): A lovely, well kept property perfect for a small group or large family. - The flat was light and spacious with plenty of room for a family of 6 people. All the rooms were comfortable and clean. The location was perfect for our needs with shops, cafes and restaurants on our doorstep and a short bus ride into the centre of Manchester. Some shower gel in the bathrooms would have been nice extra.
Everything else was perfect.
- Nick (7/5): -
- Hisham (5/5): - The location, near to the Chritie private care hospital the stairs inside the appartment, we were not informed about stairs flight when we made the booking
- Claire (9/5): Really convenient for the family party we were attending. - Large and comfortable.
Coffee Lab nearby. Outside area slightly blocked by litter and bins.
Old Loaf in a kitchen cupboard.
Hand soap would have been handy
Dishwasher a bit smelly.
- Kevin (10/5): Property was well located, conformable and clean, booking was nice and easy and communication made everything nice and s - Everything on the property was perfect , i l can’t fault the place, I will 100 percent be booking here again N/A
- Jafar (10/5): Good stay - Cozy en comfy property
- Vineeth (10/5): Exceptional -
- Sylvain (7/5): Good -
- Caroline (9/5): Superb -
- Siobhain (10/5): Fantastic little apa - The apartment was lovely and clean, and alot bigger than it looks on the pictures!
The beds were really comfortable and having 2 bathrooms was perfect seen as there was 6 girls 😅
Only downside was it was quite cold due to it being presumably unoccupied for a while and it's a big spacious apartment, we did pop the heating on but it just didn't seem to warm up, but as we was only here for 1 night it wasn't the end of the world, would definitely recommend!
There is lovely little cafes in the area and not too far from Manchester center! Just the fact that the apartment didn't seem to warm up, but it's completely understandable due to the size of it and the fact that it will probably be unoccupied for long periods
- Mr (10/5): Exceptional -
- Laura (10/5): Exceptional - Great place with large living room, dining table and huge TV, great for hanging out. Bedrooms were great size, and bathrooms super modern. Host was great! Kitchen was well kitted out and Sainsbury’s nearby so we could cook. Shower upstairs didn’t drain too well. The entrance is a bit down some alleyways with bins but that is normal for the area.
- Min (6/5): Interior decoration is good, but the entrance very bad. - Location is good.
Enviroment is bad. 1.The entrance is beside the big rubbish bins.
2.The entrance gate and fencing looks so ugly, that feels very disappointed for the tired gusts.
3. Car parking is also between the trush bins and feeling worried about stolen.
- Jordan (9/5): Fantastic - Everything, nothing to complain about The only negative I’d say it’s a little drive to the city centre roughly around 20 minutes. A bit longer if there’s traffic
- Makesh (1/5): Terrrible experience ! - The property is not exactly as it appears on the photos ! Outside the property there is no direct door there’s a dingy alley way not lit up and all around the outside there are fly tipped beds and furniture and commercial rubbish bins
- Khaled (10/5): الحمامات فيها شطاف، ميزة إضافية للشقة - I had a great stay at the apartment. The furnishings were excellent, and the bathroom fixtures were high quality. I was particularly impressed by the dual bidet feature. The kitchen was fantastic, and overall, everything in the apartment was outstanding. Emma, the host, was very helpful and attentive, ensuring our comfort throughout the stay. I’m happy to leave a five-star review, as the place truly deserves it.
- Darren (10/5): Exceptional - Booked as we are working in the area for 6 weeks. Lovely apartment and Emma has been great as a point of contact (not that we needed it but she has been fab through booking) tried to book again but not available. Nothing
