• Sandra (8/5): - Die Lage ist sehr gut. Einkaufsmöglichkeit war vorhanden und man ist schnell bei der Gondelbahn. Das Appartment ist klein und fein. Die Schlafzimmer sind aber sehr gross und bieten genug Platz für mehrere Personen. Leider ging der Fernseher im Wohnbereich nicht, es wäre besser wenn man diesen, anstelle des Fernsehers im Schlafzimmer benutzen könnte.

• Jeroen (9/5): - De locatie is perfect en ook de bedden slapen heerlijk. In 1 slaapkamer zijn er geen ramen en het appartement is een beetje gedateerd, maar het heeft ook wel weer zijn charme, het past goed bij de omgeving. Wij bleven maar 1 nachtje dus het was voor ons geen probleem.

• Ginny Hang (6/5): Bedroom great but washroom not - Comfy beds, big bedrooms, lots of storage in the bedrooms. Great location to get go Lake Oeschinen. Low lighting in one of the bedrooms. Washroom is outdated, there is no air vent, but window can be opened, despite that there is some mold accumulating on the ceiling. There is bathtub, but no overhead shower, must use the detachable shower head. Floor could use more cleaning. There is no oil in the kitchen for cooking.

• Pavlo (3/5): Does not recommend the accommodation with such an attitude from the owner. - Online check-in and cleanliness. When we arrived, there were construction works around the house, which the owner hadn’t mentioned at all. There was physically no space for parking, not to mention the noise and the smell of paint inside the house. My question about where I could park was simply ignored. And on top of that, I had to scrape off tape and paint from the key box.

Emplacement géographique et touristique, fabuleux, à deux pas des cabines pour le superbe lac d'altitude OESCHINENSEE. Bonne literie ! Deux chambres superbes, grandes, mais pas de fenêtre pour l'une d'elles...
• Tania-Melanie (8/5): Gute Lage und gutes Preis/Leistungsverhältnis. - Die Unterkunft hat eine Top Lage. Ein Parkplatz steht kostenfrei zur Verfügung. Die Zimmer sind sehr geräumig. Es hat eine Küche, welche wir allerdings nicht benutzt haben. Da die Wohnung im Erdgeschoss ist, war es nicht all zu heiss trotz heissem Wetter. Im Badezimmer hebt sich der Boden sodass die Tür beim öffnen und schliessen jeweils hängenbleibt. Dies würde ich beheben. Ausserdem ist die Klobrille schon etwas abgenutz. Auch diese würde ich ersetzten. Aber das sind wirklich kleinigkeiten. Ansonsten war alles Top👍🏻

• Ruth (9/5): Comfortable respite in the heart of the beautiful Swiss alps - Very cute and comfortable apartment, centrally located. We also enjoyed the outdoor area and dedicated parking space. Coffee machine did not work. Capsules fell through to the bottom reservoir unused. We also found it difficult to obtain visitor passes.

• Travis (8/5): We stayed one night after enjoying a hike and swim at Oschinensee. - It is within walking distance to the gondola station for Oscheninsee and it had an included parking space. Also, enough beds for 5 guests along with a washing machine is a plus. The room with 3 beds has no windows and a very small fan. In the winter ski season this is fine, but in the summer months it can be stuffy and too warm.

• Dawn (1/5): We drove home rather than staying - Nothing The place looks much better in the photos than in reality. When we arrived, there was a strong smell and flies all over the place, so we opened the windows to air it out before going out for the afternoon. One bedroom has no windows as it was once a storefront and those big windows are boarded up. Upon our return, we thought the place was so uninviting that we decided to pack up and drive home 2.5hrs away rather than stay.
• Katarina (9/5): Great stay! - We stayed here for three nights. I was looking for accommodation in Lauterbrunnen but came across this little place as this was the most affordable option for us. What a surprise! The location of this place could not be any better. We loved the surrounding area and even though we were exhausted after long days of exploring we still managed to squeeze in a late evening walk as everything was so close and beautiful around us. The place was ok, it was somewhat updated however the bathroom was very dated (that could definitely use an update). The pillows were worn and uncomfortable but it is not a dealbreaker. In the end of the day, we had a safe place to stay and we had everything we needed for a nice stay in the beautiful town of Kandersteg…for a great price! I was happy we could use the washer and do our laundry! Parking. We arrived with two cars and we could only use one parking spot. We had to look for public parking (the payment was complicated) for a while and then we ended up parking at nearby hotel for 15 CHF a day.

• Olivia (8/5): Pleasant night stay - Perfect location. Easy check in. Pet friendly. Functional. Fits 4 adults comfortably/one single bed for extra person in one of the rooms. I sent two messages and zero reply (one week apart) one a week in advance and one on the day.

• Li (9/5): Value the price, thanks for the nice view and smile. - Nice location near the train station. Everything was clean and nice once I walked in, there was dish washer, fridge, bathroom and two bedrooms. Landlords are really kind. The landlord live in 1 and 2 floor, so sometimes their footsteps can be heard, might due to the old wooden structure of the house. But this was acceptable, it was not that loud and frequent. Despite the sound insulation, the shower was not convenient as I expected. The water coming out from tub was too slow to fit with the big flow from shower, it took a while, but similarly, we weren’t bothered by that.
• Narasimhan (9/5): Great location! Nice welcome! - The location is great! It’s literally 5 min from the cable car. There was a nice welcome message and chocolate waiting for us. There are colorful lights in the master bedroom. The feel was nice. I wish there would be more toilet paper than just half of the roll for three people and two nights. We couldn’t find it anywhere. The bathroom should be renovated because there were mold stains in some places.

Kandersteg is a beautiful town, the views are amazing and you get to enjoy them from the bedroom window. everything is within minutes walk. The apartment is nice and cozy, and even though it is located on the main road, it is quite. The beds are very comfortable. The kitchen is small, but has most amenities needed for small meals. Another plus is a shared washer and dryer in the basement. Second bedroom doesn't have any windows, so its hard to ventilate.

• Stefan (8/5): Great stay at Kanterateg for a night - Top Location at Kantersteg with everything you need. Big sized flat with two bed rooms, living area, kitchen and bathroom. All similar to the picture. The bathroom needs some modernization and one bed room was without a window.
• Anita (6/5): Basic, clean & functional - Very clean apartment, located within an easy stroll of shops, restaurants and the nearby cable car to Oeschinensee. The second bedroom has no windows as these have been completely boarded up so no ventilation or daylight whatsoever. Not as shown in the photographs.

• Hannah (10/5): Lovely apartment in a lovely location - Lovely apartment located close to the train station and surrounded by the mountains, close to the lake. Close to such a lovely town and shops. A lovely apartment with TVs, comfy beds, shower/bath, dishwasher and everything you’d need in the kitchen, and washing machine in the basement too. A very nice and affordable place to stay! Nothing to complain about other than the fact the dryer didn’t work completely but that was probably our fault, it may have been on the wrong setting.

The walls made of glass are lined with curtains. It is very cold in the winter and there is a terrible noise every time a car passes on the road.

• Helen (8/5): Right apartment in the wrong place - The apartment was great, with large bedrooms and plenty of space for four people. The owner was happy to restock the coffee pods. Having a coffee maker was a bonus. The apartment needs some upkeep. Esp bathroom. The shower was in the bath, dangerous for some people getting in and out, plus it was slippery. A bath mat would be useful, we used a small towel to stand on. The situation on the main road meant the apartment and especially one of the bedrooms was noisy, even at night. We could also hear noise from the apartment above (chairs grating etc)

• Celina (9/5): Lovely town and OK facilities. - The environment was nice and the host provided a fan in one of the rooms that had no windows. Kitchen facilities were OK and the town was very picturesque and quiet so we had a good night's rest. The toilet only had one small lightbulb and was super dim, it was also very dangerous because of the poor lighting. The space was kind of tight especially the kitchen. At the door of each room there is a different elevation level so people might trip and fall which isn't too great.

The place is very spacious with all necessary utilities included. It was very clean and well maintained. Recommend to download Whatsapp asthe entrance procedure will be sent by message app without any prior notice. One of the bedrooms is facing the main street, which cause some noise, but not too much.

Location is perfect to explore beautiful village as well as tourist places/ activities nearby. Free car parking is added bonus here. Host is super cool and explains all details related to house.
